This was a sweet and enjoyable read for me. I think everyone needs a Gunnar in their life. He certainly made the book for me. Alexis and Gunnar's romance was very sweet and romantic, making the book full of warm feelings and happily ever after. It was just what I had been looking for.

Alexis has spent her life being responsible and it has stifled her. After a harsh break up, she's left trying to find out she wants to be. She finds an interesting looking ranch getaway that lands her right in the path of sexy cowboy, Gunnar.

Gunnar is a cowboy who has paid his dues and is perfectly peaceful and content with where he is. He didn't even know what hit him when Alexis storms into his life with a plan to reinvent himself. He wants be supportive, but something didn't seem right to him.

They definitely have an interesting road ahead of them.

I enjoyed this book and think I'll enjoy the other Whisper Creek books. I'd recommend this to all of my fellow romance fans looking for a warm and fuzzy happily ever after.
