Betrayal by Aleatha Romig Blog Tour

One week. No future. No past. No more.

Alexandria Collins has one week to live carefree—no ghosts of her past or pressures of her future haunting her. Reinventing herself as "Charli," she is knocked off her feet by a sexy, mysterious man who brings her pleasure like she never imagined. With her heart at stake, she forgets that decisions made in the dark of night reappear in the bright light of day.

"Some of my tastes are unique. They aren’t for everyone. I understand that.”

Lennox "Nox" Demetri is wealthy, confident, and decisive—he knows what he wants. From the first time he sees Charli at an exclusive resort, he knows he wants her. Although he is usually the one to make the rules, together they agree on one:

One week. No more.

When betrayal comes from those closest to Alexandria, she must decide how far she is willing to go to survive. Choices are not always easy, especially when they involve the heart, body, and soul. After all, Infidelity is a business, and some rules are meant to be broken.

"Is it really cheating if you're doing it to yourself?"

From New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Aleatha Romig comes a sexy, new dominant hero who knows what he wants, and a strong-willed heroine who has plans of her own. With classic Aleatha Romig twists, turns, deceptions, and devotions, this new epic dark romance will have readers swooning one minute and screaming the next. Have you been Aleatha'd?

Betrayal is a full-length novel and the first of five in the Infidelity series.

“Just know, Miss Charli, no last name, the next time you break one of my rules, I won’t respond as lightly.”

“You won’t?” I asked, more aroused than curious. “What exactly does that mean?”

He moved closer, seductively teasing my breasts with the presence of his wide chest. “I guess we’ll need to find that out together.”

I had to lift my chin to see his eyes. The light blue sparkled with suggestions. The longer I stared, the more a part of me wanted to find out exactly what he had in mind. There was also a part of me that knew that wasn't a good idea. I shrugged nonchalantly. “Then I guess I better not break any of your rules.”

“Where’s the fun in that?” he asked.

“Oh, I believe I can be all kinds of fun.” I gasped as he pulled me nearer. My nipples—the ones that had softened during our conversation—were now hard nubs burning with desire as they were pressed against his broad chest. That wasn't our only connection that made my insides tighten. Lower, his hardening erection pushed against my stomach.

After she goes back home to Savannah and learns what is expected of her, she can't believe what is being pushed of her to do. She will not give up law school and her parents can keep her trust fund, she will get a job. She goes to New York and ends up staying with her cousin Patrick and his lover Cyrus. When she learns what they do and how they can afford a place on Fifth Avenue, she is indecisive but the money is too hard to give up. Can she join Infidelity and make her own way? Will she ever see Nox again and if she does what will happen? Will her parents continue trying to pull her strings and making her do what they want? This is an awesome series and I need more, have to find out what happens next. I fell in love with Aleatha Romig and her writing style from the beginning of the Consequences series and I have to read anything she writes. If you are looking for a great story that you will not be able to put down, then this one is for you.

Betrayal was a solid 4.5 star read!
Alexandria Charles Montague Collins has lived a life that people only dream of...born to a wealthy (old money, filthy rich) family she has certain expectations placed on her. The problem is she doesn't want to be this person. She wants to realize her own dreams and I can't wait to find out how/if/when she does this!

Deciding to spend her final week in California with her best-friend at a high-end resort, she decides to let loose and have a little fun...and "Charli" is born. ;) Not only does she loose her inhibitions, but she meets a sexy man (Nox) and they agree on "No ask/No tell" policy which ups the ante on exciting!

Alexandria (or Alex, or Charli) is trying to distance herself from her socialite family, while making a name independent of the Montague moniker.
The question remains, will she be able to do so? Will they let her?

Deep, dark secrets are waiting to be exposed while lies and corruption abound in book 1 of the Infidelity series.
This was an exciting start to a new series – I love Alex and am totally rooting for her, I want to learn more about Nox, but most of all I need to know what awaits Alex in her journey to "independence."

WOW... This was an absolutely amazing book. I loved every second of it. I haven't read any of Aleatha Romig's books before so this was a special treat for me!

I seriously can't get enough of Nox. He's HOT in every way possible and also kind of sweet. Alex is an incredible, strong woman for the most part (Although I must say I didn't particularly care for her wobble at the end with the decision she made because she seemed like the type of woman that would stick to her decision even if she wasn't sure it was the right one).

This book will be pulling you all over while melting your panties off at the same time. I looooooved it and can't rave about it enough.

There is a cliffhanger and I CAN'T wait for the next book. Like I'll be putting this on my calendar and waiting for it because I NEED more Nox.

Alexandria (Alex/Charli) comes from a very distinguished southern family. A family that has rules, rules that must be followed. Her life has been unknowingly planned out for her, whether she approves or not.

Alex is done living under the thumb of her family. When she takes a week to "find" herself, she finds way more than she bargained for. Calling herself Charli with no last name, seems the easiest way to not be herself, to be free. When she meets Nox, she knows she can be whoever she wants with him. She can let herself use him, to have fun, to be that free girl she's always dreamed of being.

"Limits. Charli. I'm going to fuck you like you've never been fucked. Tell me now if I've crossed that limit. Tell me now if you don't want this."

Nox is sexy and demanding and has rules of his own, but those rules Charli has no problem adhering to. It's one week. That's all. She can give herself to him for one week.

I loved the fast pace of Betrayal. I couldn't put it down. I loved the chemistry between Nox and Charli. The build up to the twist at the end, I saw it coming but I couldn't wait to get there. January seems way too far off to find out what happens next.

WOW! And I have rarely wished for a next book to come out more...

This is a really well written, fabulously sexy, intense, and fascinating read. I was ever mindful of the title ... and kept waiting for the shoe to drop ... I love being tense and yet deeply satisfied with what I am reading – so this was a book which suited me very well. I was both frustrated and delighted that the story will continue in the future.

As to the actual story contents – well I suggest you read it and find out – the blurb says enough, and I promise you the quality makes it a very sensuous and by turns disturbing story. And I will predict not in the way you initially imagine. I suggest you cancel your plans for the weekend, and hibernate with your e-reader of choice ... enjoy!
