“Angela!” He calls out and I can’t respond. I’ve somewhat pulled myself together and if I speak now to him, I know it’ll all let lose once again.
“Honey, what happened?” He says while he squats down next to me and places a hand on my shoulder.
“Logan, why are you here? Please, I can’t deal with you right now.” Speaking into my hands so I don’t have to make eye contact with him, especially since all I’ve dreamt of are those chocolate brown eyes. I know deep down if I look now, I’m done. Logan Black holds all the cards, and currently he has a full house while I have a pair of three’s.
“Angela, talk to me. Tell me what I can do to make it better?”
“No. I don’t want to talk to you about this. You can make it better by leaving like I’ve asked. Why are you even here?” I whisper as I turn my head to look towards him. His expression is so sincere. He looks as though he feels my pain and tiredness. Like he hasn’t slept.
“I’m not leaving you like this. We’ll talk later about why I’m here. Now, point me in the direction of your bedroom.”
“Really? You want to take me to my bedroom. Are you that insensitive to what I might be going through? I’ve just had everything in my life turned upside down and you want to take me to my bedroom?” I bark, furious that he would even ask me something like that. He reaches down and scoops me up into his arms. “Put me down now!”
“Honey, let me take care of you. I’m not taking you to bed yet. I’m going to draw you a bath and then we’ll go to bed, but not like you think,” he whispers into my ear.
“Um hum,” is the only noise I can manage. I wrap my hands around his neck, laying my head down onto his shoulder. Inhaling deeply, I take in Logan’s scent, which is like no other. A woodsy outdoor mixed with fresh soap. His smell alone makes me feel safe. How can one feel safe with a stranger? Standing me upright in the middle of my master bathroom, he turns the faucets on over the large garden tub, and flips the switch to plug the drain.

I was lucky enough to get the first book in this series (One Night) free to review. As soon as I finished it I went and bought One More Night so I could see what happens next. At about 60 pages long this took less than an hour to read.
First up, I don't normally read books with cheating but because the story is short and not 500 pages of angst I thought I'd give it a try - and I'm glad I did.
In book 2 we follow Angela home to California to confront her cheating husband and to deal with the aftermath of her one night. Logan Black follows Angela to LA determined to make it more than one night.
I enjoyed the story and it deals with cheating in a more grown up way than many books. It is still heart breaking but not drama filled.
One More Night ends on a cliffhanger and I can't wait for book 3.

This, the second novella in the series, is even hotter and lovelier than the first. As Angela comes to terms with her behaviour, and the phone call from Christopher, she returns home. Her faithful assistant is there to listen to everything and to provide the support that she needs ... as things get more and more complicated. Oh, and Logan, dreamy Logan Black!
Even though this is a quick read, it packs in a huge amount of story, and the reader who likes to get behind the story has plenty of issues to consider - such as career before family, trust, moral issues. Can't wait for the next one.

This is the second installment to this series. It is a short read, but sexy as all get out. Ms. Willard knows how to leave you craving more.
One More Night picks up right where One Night ended. Angela finds out the one night stand she had with Mr. Bartender the night before is none other than Logan Black from Black Enterprises. The company she is trying to gain a contract from.
Regardless of who she is and why she is at the hotel, Logan is desperate to spend more time with her.
The chemistry between the two is off the charts.
Can't wait to see what this next installment will bring us!! Hopefully a HEA for Angela and Logan!!

WHAT'S GOING TO HAPPEN NEXT? Angela is caught between a Playboy and a cheating husband! Of course my pick is Logan Black and his deliciousness! But Christopher is playing hard ball in the back ground. I WANT TO CHOP OFF HIS PENIS. Among others things. I think the indecision would be best here because I like my angst. And what's this deal with Janet, was it the truth?? I think the plot is going to thicken in the next installment.
Anywho, this has STEAMY sex, and a twisty plot you will love! I have my predictions but I'll keep them to myself. Nope, no spoiling from me.

Angela has gone back home and will try to get her and Christopher's schedules together so they can discuss the future. When he is home early and won't even look at her, she doesn't know what to think. Later she calls his office and when Janet, his assistant answers the phone, Angela knows who the other woman is. She ask about Christopher's next trip and she will figure out some time they can spend together. When she gets home, he is there and drops a huge bomb on her and then leaves. So Angela is left crying for a marriage that has fizzled out and no way to revive it. When Logan shows up at her condo, Angela doesn't know that is exactly what she needed. Someone to take care of her for a little while. After spending more time with Logan, Angela has to deal with a cheating husband that wants to come back and her feeling for Logan. Will she make the right choice? Will the ending of this book change the course for Angela and Logan? I am loving this addition and wanting more.

Angela had one hot night with Logan. Will she still try to work things out with her husband or will Logan try for more with her? This next installment will answer some of those questions. For being a novella there was a lot of stuffed packed into it! I can’t wait to see what happens in the final installment!
Characters: Well written characters that could easily be anyone of us. We do get to see more of Christopher in this book too which is good.
