Wicked Reads Reviews – Perfect Imperfections by Cardeno C.

Hollywood royalty Jeremy Jameson has lived a sheltered life with music as his sole focus and only friend. Before embarking on yet another international concert tour, he wanders into a bar in what he considers the middle of nowhere and meets a man who wins him over with his friendly smile and easy-going nature. Accountant slash bartender slash adventure-seeker Reg Moore has fun talking and drinking with The Jeremy Jameson and can’t say no when the supposedly straight rock star makes him a once in a lifetime offer: keep him company on his tour by playing the part of his boyfriend.

Listening to music, traveling the world, and jumping off cliffs is fun. Falling in love is even better. But to stay with Jeremy after the stage lights dim, Reg will need to help him realize there’s nothing pretend about their relationship.

This author can do no wrong in my mind. Every single story is a pleasure to read. There is always light, and hope, and people who deserve to have their story told. And then there is passion which is scorchingly hot, and delectably naughty. This story is brilliant because it shows that patience, determination, and undoubtedly love can be so rewarding. Patience especially is the key in this perfect tale. Another wonderful story to add to my ‘feel good’ reread pile from Cardeno C., thank you.

I don't know what I was thinking, really I should have known better, but I couldn't help myself. I opened Perfect Imperfections an hour before I needed to go to sleep. Which basically means I went to work on very little sleep but it was so worth it!

I could not get enough of Jeremy and Reg. This is such a sweet love story. When Reg and Jeremy meet there is an effortless ease between them from the first moment. Reg has a protective nature toward Jeremy that I love, he will do whatever it takes to make Jeremy happy. Jeremy has this neediness about him that is sweet. He needs to be touched, needs to be loved, needs to be himself. These are all things he has never truly gotten in his life until Reg.

The chemistry between Reg and Jeremy is undeniable. The scene in the lobby of the radio station when Reg touches Jeremy for the first time was without a doubt one of the sexiest scenes ever. My Kindle was on fire with the the cuddling scenes, the fleshlight scene, and shower...oh that shower!

The only complaint I have is that it's not longer. I could read thousands of pages devoted to these two and never get bored.

Jeremy (JJ) is the world's biggest rock star who has had a string of women but he just wants someone to hang out and have fun with on tour. JJ is high strung and high maintenance (although he thinks he isn't). Reg on the other hand is laid back with his only ambition being to travel and enjoy life. It is the differences between JJ and Reg that make their story – they complement each other well.

I loved the way their fake relationship but real friendship turns into something so much more. JJ and Reg's story is a nice slow burn that builds well and is hot in all the right places. Perfect Imperfections is another fabulous story from Cardeno C.

Jeremy Jameson is a real life rock star. He's devoted his life to his love of music, but no matter how hard he's tried, he just can't fill a void in his life. He wants the ideal of love, but has given up on it after being used time and time again.

Reg Moore is just a small town guy trying to get by. He's working to reach his dreams, but he knows it will be a long time coming.

When the two meet, Reg thinks Jeremy is fun and adorable while Jeremy loves Reg's easy going nature and adventurous personality. Jeremy makes Reg an offer he can't refuse and before they know it, they are spending a lot of time together. They both discover more about themselves and each other, but can they fill the voids in their lives?

I really enjoyed this book. It fell right into the Cardeno C. style I have come to love. The characters are easy to fall in love with and the romance sucked me right in and kept me there. I would definitely recommend this story to M/M romance fans. I will definitely be looking into more by Cardeno C.

Cardeno C. – CC to friends – is a hopeless romantic who wants to add a lot of happiness and a few "awwws" into a reader's day. Writing is a nice break from real life as a corporate type and volunteer work with gay rights organizations. Cardeno's stories range from sweet to intense, contemporary to paranormal, long to short, but they always include strong relationships and walks into the happily-ever-after sunset.

Cardeno's Home, Family, and Mates series have received awards from Love Romances and More Golden Roses, Rainbow Awards, the Goodreads M/M Romance Group, and various reviewers. But even more special to CC are heartfelt reactions from readers, like, "You bring joy and love and make it part of the every day."
