The Setup by Kristen Proby Release Blitz

From New York Times bestselling author Kristen Proby comes an all-new novel, The Setup, in her Single in Seattle series, featuring Keaton Williams!

I’m a sucker for pretty things. Give me a roaring engine in a souped-up vintage muscle car with cherry red paint and brand-new leather interior, and that’s about as pretty as anything I could ask for. I’m a simple man, who doesn’t need or want the kind of wild celebrity that my father has. I restore one-of-a-kind vehicles and sell them to the highest bidder. Usually, that bidder just also happens to be a celebrity.

But no matter how often my cars steal the spotlight, staying out of it is my number one priority.

Which is why Sydney Sterling is absolutely out of the question.

She’s a country music superstar. She’s in the spotlight. People can’t get enough of her.

It doesn’t matter that our one night together was hotter than a full throttle muscle car, or that she’s the most incredible woman I’ve ever met.

I. Need. To. Stay. Away.

And I was doing a great job of just that until our friends set us up on a blind date, and now here I am, sitting across from the only woman who made me want more. How am I going to handle the fact that the rest of the world wants her almost as much as I do?

And do I even have a choice in the matter?

M/F Romance

Keaton is living his best life. He loves the cars that he works on. He loves his clients. He loves his family. Keaton's business is booming, and he loves to hunt for rare cars to restore. When he shows up for a blind date, he does not expect that his secret hookup is the one to be set up with him.

Sydney is trying to find her light again. After her record label decided not to reup her contract, Sydney knows that she needs a break. When she meets up with her friends again, she knows that it's exactly what she needed. From seeing her friends, singing just for fun, and, not to mention, hooking up with Keaton again.

Keaton is someone you want to slap against the head occasionally. He seems to have a big head about himself and worries entirely too much about his life, and where it's going and who is in it.

Sydney and Keaton have a more Young Adult chemistry, but Sydney is a character that you're going to love. Keaton was more of a fungus that grew on you but wasn't something you loved right away.

Overall, this is a sweet story about letting go, moving forward, and showing the world that you only need to believe in yourself.

Kiss Me by Samantha Chase Release Blitz

New York Times Best Selling Author. Samantha Chase. Kiss Me. Available Now.

Saying “I Do” to her boss seemed like a harmless solution to a potentially harmful problem.
But the only problem now is that she wants the marriage to be real.

When Marissa Barrett finds herself in a dangerous situation with her family, she needs help. Fast. Normally the queen of problem solving, this is one instance where she just can’t seem to find a solution on her own. All she wanted from her boss was help finding an attorney. But before she knows exactly how it’s happened, they’re standing in front of a justice of the peace.

Patrick Donovan would do anything to help Marissa. After all, she’s been helping him run his business for years. He’d be lying if he said he wasn’t wildly attracted to her, but there was no way he would ever act on it. Plus, with his meddling family looking to see him settle down, the last thing he needed was any kind of romantic relationship. But when Marissa turns to him for help, suddenly he sees a way to do it that benefits them both.

Ruthie☆☆☆☆
This is the fifth book in the series – and Patrick is the last Donovan sibling who is single and his mother is definitely not going to let that stand, but he manages to beat her to the task. Amusingly, we get to meet some of their cousins who are all single, so we are in for some more Donovan stories yet!

Patrick is an interesting member of the Donovan clan, he is certain that he does not want love, or that it is a good thing, even though his siblings all falling in love has been a revelation. Then his mother turns her attention to him, and he has to find a solution. Then Marissa, his long time assistant, has family problems, which he realises he can solve by marrying her – a mutually beneficial arrangement.

Amusingly, we soon find out that they both are attracted to each other, and now are in a marriage of convenience, which means they need to stay away from each other... except when with others as they need to appear to be genuinely married. It is a complicated arrangement, and their chemistry is delicious.

I really enjoyed how this all played out, and in spite of Marissa's family troubles, she ends up with exactly the family that she deserves.

Mary☆☆☆☆
Patrick and Marissa have worked together for the last five years. When he learns of her family troubles, he has a solution that will help them both out.

With Marissa's mother in the hospital and her deadbeat brother trying to get what he thinks he deserves, Marissa has had about all she can stand. Patrick has a bright idea that they get married and put everything in his and her married name so her brother will stop harassing her. And with them being married, Patrick's mother will stop trying to marry him off to every single girl she meets.

While their marriage of convenience is more than they both realize, neither of them knows how the other feels and that is making things harder at times.

I love stories that have big families and that are close like Patrick's family, and the way they accepted Marissa was just what she needed. If they would only tell each other their true feelings, then the real marriage could begin. Even though I think it already has.

I really enjoyed this story, even with Marissa's troubles and Patrick's crazy loving family. I also loved the texting between the Donovan siblings, they were so funny at times. I need to go back and read the others in this series and see what I missed.

This is a very moving book – and I had to explain to some colleagues on Teams why my eyes were a little puffy as I did have a bit of a cry over this story. I don't often comment about what I might think would upset people, but this is an emotional read, and so I would suggest that you read the blurb before you start. I think it is well written and it felt written from the heart.

Jamie Beck has done a wonderful job of considering a number of people's points of view and how the dynamics in this situation may play out. It is a tight rope of a story, and I was drawn deeply and affected by the content. I hope that you also find it a worthwhile read.

His Accidental Cowboy by A.M. Arthur

Wyatt is keeping a secret… one that just might change life at Woods Ranch forever.

An experienced Texas ranch hand reluctantly falls for his much younger, very accident-prone coworker in this gay cowboy romance from acclaimed author A.M. Arthur.

Wyatt Gibson is in Texas looking for answers about his past. When he talks his way into a job at Woods Ranch, he never imagines that the hot cowboy he (almost) slept with the night before not only works there, but is the one showing him the ropes.

As a rustler at the ranch, Jackson Summer handles all sorts of things: mucking, herding, grooming, riding—and minding his own damn business. A lifetime of hurt will do that to a guy. What he never imagines handling is the greenest cowboy to ever step foot in Weston, Texas.

Jackson is determined to keep his heart safe—and falling for a hot young thing like Wyatt is definitely not safe. Especially because Jackson knows Wyatt is keeping a secret… one that he can’t quite put his finger on but that just might change life at Woods Ranch forever.

His Accidental Cowboy is the third installment in the Woods Ranch series. It can be read as standalone without issue but as always, it's better to read in the order that the author intended.

Jackson is content in his life. Living alone at a motel with Dog and working at Woods Ranch. He’s not in a relationship but gets what he needs from a bar outside of town and protects his heart. When he sees the tall red head that's never been in the bar before, he's interested – until he finds out the red head is only 20. But he does settle for conversation with the man. What he never expected was walking into the barn the next day and looking at the man from last night.

Wyatt couldn't be happier to see the gruff cowboy from the bar. But Wyatt can't get involved with Jackson; he is looking for the truth that no one in his family will tell him. After research, he finds himself at Woods Ranch at the perfect time when they are looking for a ranch hand. Brand agrees to give Wyatt an eight-week trial. Wyatt admits he's new to this world, but it's something he wants and with Jackson as his mentor, he's something Wyatt really wants too.

I loved seeing Jackson open himself to Wyatt and their exchange of power. Wyatt is 20 years younger than Jackson but he's everything Jackson needs. The age gap isn't even an issue or odd. It was so well written you could feel the love between them. I loved seeing what happened with Brand and Wyatt. Those moments brought me to tears. I hope we get more from this series!

Angie☆☆☆
This is the third book in the series but can be read as a standalone. I have to be honest, I really struggled to get through this book. It took me several days to read it and the only reason I kept going was to find out how things turned out with Wyatt and his secret. I couldn't connect with any of the characters until the 80% mark in the book, which is crazy. I didn't feel the connection with Jackson and Wyatt at all. The plot was good, it just took forever for things to play out. I loved Ramie, she was a great secondary character. I wanted to love this book, but it fell short for me. The last 20% was the best and if the rest of the book was like that, it would have been great.

Ruthie☆☆☆☆
This is the third in the series and I would definitely recommend that you read them in order for all the goodness on offer from this fabulous family and their journeys to their happily ever afters.

Gio does his duty by the family restaurant business, but his true dream is to make wine. So when his family gives him the gift of a three-week wine tour of Tuscany, and promise that it is now his time, he is incredibly grateful and humbled by their generosity. Little did he realise that whilst on this trip of a lifetime he would not only decide it was time to find a vineyard of his own, but also fall for another guest on the tour.

Emma comes from a wine dynasty but is overlooked due to her gender. Frustrated beyond belief, she decides to take a sabbatical and goes on a wine tour with her best friend. Her suitcase bound for the far east, she finds herself in Tuscany short of clothing, but with a willing hero... called Giovanni.

I loved these two together – lots of fun, snark, and fabulous chemistry. It was a delight watching them fight the inevitable. Gio was all in from day one, but Emma, already divorced and fed up of being controlled by her father and ex, took longer to see how Gio was different. His behaviour, thanks to a lifetime of putting everyone else first, could not have been more beguiling to someone used to being ignored.

Delicious fun, and lovely to catch up with all the D'Angelos and their loves!

A Love Catastrophe by Helena Hunting

Available Now! A Love Catastrophe by Helena Hunting.

The fur is about to fly between a cheerful cat sitter and a grumpy hockey nerd in this hilarious and charming rom-com by the New York Times bestselling author of Meet Cute.

Kitty Hart has become internet famous as the Kitty Whisperer for her expertise on all things feline, and as a result, her cat-sitting business is booming. But lately, she has a terrible feeling that maybe her life isn’t quite going where it’s supposed to—especially after falling face-first into her newest client. Not exactly the best first impression.

Fortunately, Miles Thorn is just as bad at first impressions. Strike one: he doesn’t like cats, especially Prince Francis, the haughty and mischievous Sphynx his mom left in his care. Strike two: tackling Kitty to the floor in a misguided attempt to save the pet he continually calls “the gremlin.”

As awkwardness slides into attraction and things start to turn purr-sonal, will these two complete opposites ever be able to find their furry-tail ending?

Ruthie☆☆☆☆
This is a funny, sweet, and really easy read, which is perfect for summer, when you just want to escape the world and relax.

Kitty Hart has a cat-sitting business, which is doing well enough for her to work at it and her social media presence full time. She has a range of amusing clients and is definitely adept at her job – even training cats to press bells to ask for treats, etc.

Miles is a statistician working for an NHL team finding how to improve small things in players to increase their effectiveness on the ice – I found this engaging as a concept and gave another dynamic to the story. He is also dealing with a mum who has just been hospitalised and found to be suffering from early onset dementia. He now needs to sort out how to care for her Sphynx cat too. I felt that Hunting did a good job of adding some difficult elements to the story without bringing the whole vibe down, and she paired it well with Kitty's parental issues.

Miles calls Kitty for help and the rest all falls together in a cute and slightly crazy way. You will have to read it to find out just how crazy, because it is always best to come to these things afresh, but I don't think you will be disappointed. I like it when awkward becomes confident thanks to the people around them supporting them through the difficult things that life kicks up. It deepens the connection and reminds us that love is not just passion – although, that is good too. 😻

I did laugh out loud a few times, as well as having a few tears, but I enjoyed racing my way through to see how a Great Dane owning guy could have a relationship with a cat-loving Kitty Whisperer!

Veronica☆☆☆☆
A Love Catastrophe made me laugh out loud. Kitty and Miles’ first meeting was funny and Miles’ comment about his mother’s – OMG, I couldn’t stop laughing. Initially, the story had a little bit of an enemies-to-lovers vibe because their first meeting doesn’t really go well, but it doesn’t take long before romance has things between Miles and Kitty moving in the right direction.

Despite the fact that Miles works for an NHL team and Kitty is a bit of an internet star, they feel like regular, every day people. Their love story felt like something every day people could aspire to.

While romance is blooming, Kitty and Miles are both dealing with grief and the aftermath of losing a loved one. Even though dealing with grief is a serious issue, it didn’t bring the book down. I really appreciated their honest conversation, and I loved the way they supported each other.

If you are looking for a traditional, fun romance with just a dose of spice, I’d definitely recommend A Love Catastrophe, I really enjoyed it.

Roughing the Kicker by Rheland Richmond & Emerson Beckett Blog Tour

Blog Tour. Rheland Richmond & Emerson Beckett. Roughing the Kicker.

Do you believe in fate? Yeah, me neither until the sexy Navy SEAL I hooked up with three years ago suddenly reappears back in my life in the form of one of my best friend’s older brother. And now, they want me to share a room with him in the Keys.

“Can you share a room with Jesse tonight?”

How could I say no?

What Greg and Cooper didn’t know was Jesse and I met three years ago in Madrid. And when I finally hooked up with the handsome Navy SEAL, our night turned into a weekend of the best sex of my life. Jesse made me see stars twenty-four hours a day. We had a connection, but our timing wasn’t right. He was going back to America, and I was headed back to Italy to play soccer.

It was all for the best, because I didn’t do relationships. Especially with a man nine-years-older and the total opposite of me. But I never forgot him, even though I tried.

Fast forward three years later, and we find ourselves thrown back together again in Portland. I’m the new kicker for the Portland Pirates and Jesse Evans has reappeared in my life. And just as fate would have it, my dream hookup is Cooper’s older brother, and he’s moving his security firm to Portland.

Would he remember me? Did that weekend three years ago affect him as much as it did me?

I guess time would tell when we shared that room in the Florida Keys.

Excerpt

“Do you mind sharing a room with Jesse? It would only be for the night. They’ll have the other one ready tomorrow.”

I bit the inside of my cheek. Think Dom, think. But nothing useful came to mind except images of Jesse Evans naked. What was I supposed to say? No?

I inclined my head and somehow managed to form words. “Sure. Uh… no problem.”

“Are you sure?” Greg held my gaze, searching my reaction for any indication that I wasn’t okay spending the night with that hot fucker. And honestly, I wasn’t sure I was.

Still, I swallowed and just let the first thing I could think of fall out of my mouth.

“Yeah, it’s fine. I was just worried. I have sleep apnea and I might snore. That’s all,” I laughed maniacally. “Don’t wanna keep him up or anything.”

Don’t think about him being up. Don’t think about him being up.

Greg blew out a breath. The look of relief on his face would have been comical if I wasn’t a massive ball of nerves, but there was no way I’d burst his bubble. He and Cooper didn’t have to invite me, but they did. And I needed to be gracious and not bust a nut right here in the airport. Or get on the next available flight back to Portland.

“Oh, yeah, okay. I’m sure it’ll be fine. Jesse was in the military, so I’m sure he’s used to all kinds of noises at night.”

I tried to control the squirming, but I couldn’t stop myself from fidgeting. I tried tamping down my raging, overwhelming lust for the former Navy SEAL. “Yeah. Yeah, okay.”

Greg clapped me on the shoulder. “Thanks, man. We really appreciate it.” With that settled, he walked away and went over to talk to Marcus.

Jesse Evans was the hottest man I’d ever seen. He had muscles for days. Muscles I wanted to lick, and—no. Couldn’t go there or I’d be sporting a huge boner. It seriously wasn’t fair for one man to be so damn tempting. He was tall and dressed like a runway model, with his perfect blond hair and his perfect smile. And then there was his commanding tone that just did it for me. I felt like I might have a heart attack right here at the airport and he was nowhere around to resuscitate me with vigorous mouth-to-mouth. I’d die right here on the floor of the airport before I could get my hands on him.

Dropping my head back, I stared at the ceiling and prayed to Saint Rocco to protect me from myself tonight. All I wanted to do was to climb him like a tree and rub myself all over him.

I bet he could make me cum just by looking at me with that piercing and smoldering look that said hold your ass still while I rim you till you lose your damn mind.

And I would, too. I’d hold still and let him have his wicked way with me in any goddamn position he wanted. God, now I was hard.

Fanculo la mia vita. Fuck my life.

Three years ago, I hooked up with a smart-mouthed soccer player who’s been living rent free in my head ever since. Now he’s sharing a room with me in Key West. And it’s time to make him mine.

Roughing the Kicker is the sixth installment in The Package Deal series. It is the final book. I don't feel that you would get enough from the book reading it as a standalone. It HAS to be read in the order the authors intended.

Dominick and Jesse met three years ago in Madrid and had the best weekend of their lives. They were in two separate places in life. Dominick headed back to Italy to play soccer and Jesse to America. They never forgot that weekend or each other; what they never expected was finding out Jesse is Cooper's older brother and Dominick is the new kicker for the Pirates. Can one week in Key West together bring back that instant chemistry they had three years ago?

I am so happy Dominick got his own happily ever after. He was such a great character. I loved the big brother relationship Jackson took with him, and how they instantly pulled him into their friend family without question. Roughing the Kicker is basically a low, low-angst read, but the chemistry and steam factor between Jesse and Dominick was everything I needed!

I am so sad this is the end of the series. It was such a spectacular read with fantastic characters. I can't wait for what comes next from this duo!

Ruthie☆☆☆☆
This is the sixth book in the series, but I do think that it is a strong story in its own right – and you can always go back and catch up on the rest of the stories later!

I really enjoyed how Jesse had been trying to find Dom since their encounter – always aware that their 'fling' had been much more important than either of them had acknowledged at the time. That there was a family link, and he was able to use his resources to engineer the perfect second chance was perfect.

As a Brit, I enjoyed the soccer link and how Dom had transferred across as an NFL kicker, it was an interesting twist, and fitted the reason for him feeling he needed to leave Europe. His reluctance to be true to himself made sense in that context, and it gave the story some intriguing plot lines.

They were SO delicious together, so in tune, and yet not subsumed by each other. There is a really satisfying amount of sport and the complexity of the role of kicker, as well as following some of the activities of Jesse's business too. And their relationship is a great mix of passion and friendship, yum!

My rules for this were simple… No romance – it’s just sex. No strings attached. If a better offer came along, I could take it. Just one problem… I was already in love with him.

Author Bio

Rheland Richmond. Romance Author.

For as long as she can remember Rheland's had her nose stuck in a book, getting lost in the world of someone else's creation. (She still does.) Her love for writing came from her love for reading. She could never have one without the other.

Writing has always been a hobby and a cathartic experience for her. There are many stories lost to the never to be completed or published pile but needed to be written at the time.

She's just a girl that loved stories so much she wrote hers.

RHELAND RICHMOND would love to hear from her readers and learn more about Y'all. So if you get a chance... Get in touch.

Emerson Beckett. Male Male Romance Author.

EMERSON BECKETT is new to the publishing world. As an avid sports fan and lover of well-written M/M romance books, Emerson loves her new career as an author of gay romance. It’s even more fulfilling for her when she can combine the two.

The journey to becoming an author started with an idea while reading on the sofa. That idea became an email that ultimately resulted in Emerson using those teacher skills to edit novels for three phenomenal M/M romance authors. The third referral led to an opportunity to co-write a book series with one of the most genuine and kindest people she’s ever had the pleasure of knowing – Rheland Richmond. Emerson is the co-author of The Package Deal Series. She plans to release her first solo book in 2023.

Besides being a retired teacher and author, Emerson lives in North Carolina and has been married to the same man for 32 years. She is the mother of three beautiful adults, one of whom is proudly part of the LGBTQ Community and completely responsible for her addiction to MM Romance. Even though the kids no longer live at home, they filled the empty nest with an Australian Shepherd, three cats, and a cute bunny rabbit.

Emerson would love to hear from her readers. So if you get a chance... Get in touch.
