Twincerely Yours by Eden Finley Instagram Tour

Release Tour. Eden Finley’s Twincerely Yours.

EMMETT

My twin brother and I have gotten ourselves into a lot of messes growing up. We would constantly switch places to escape consequences while protecting each other at every cost.

But sleeping with Ben’s professor is a whole new level of mess, because there’s something Jonah doesn’t know. He might have been Ben’s professor last semester, but the person he was lecturing wasn’t Ben. It was me.

JONAH

From the moment I meet Emmett, I know he looks familiar but I can’t pinpoint where from. It’s not until I see his twin brother in the quad that I put two and two together.

Dating the sibling of one of my ex-students isn’t a huge problem for me, but I can’t help thinking the twins are hiding something.

The more time I spend with Emmett, the more I fall for him, but as my insecurity grows, so does my worry that I’m being played.

When my heart and my gut tell me two different things, I don’t know which to trust. My gut tells me to cut and run, but my heart won’t let me. Even though I’ve been telling myself to hold back, it’s too late. I’m already in too deep.

Twincerely Yours is the eighth installment in the Franklin U 2 series. While I've read all of the installments in the original Franklin U series, I have not read any others in the FU2 series. I was able to read the novel as a standalone with little to no confusion, out of series order.

Note: The twins, Ben and Emmett, were first introduced in the CU Hockey series by Eden Finley and Saxon James. Line Mates & Study Dates and Puck Drills & Quick Thrills (CU Hockey books four and five) where their brothers, Asher and Westly, narrated, and who are cameoed heavily in this novel.

I devoured Twincerely Yours in one sitting, and it just ignited my appetite to reread the CU series, FU series, and tackle the FU2 series anew. Adorable and engaging, I enjoyed every single word, thoroughly entertained, sparking all the feel-good emotions within me.

Identical twins, Emmett and Ben share mirrored learning disabilities. Emmett struggles with dyslexia, whereas Ben struggles with dyscalculia, which is similar to dyslexia but with numbers. This part of the story truly resonated with me as someone who has similar issues.

Emmett is sweet, compassionate, self-sacrificing, and endlessly giving. He's humorous and good-natured with a go with the flow vibe. As part of an identical twin pairing, Emmett struggles with codependency on his twin. Since I hadn't read Ben's novel yet, I did struggle with liking Ben because I had to keep reminding myself that Emmett was voluntarily being selfless, none of it asked by Ben.

Emmett is helping Ben with his statistics class, where he briefly meets Professor Jonah, when the twins decide to no longer switch and take each other's classes. Emmett is currently pretending to be Ben 24/7 after his expulsion from another local college.

Jonah is a solid guy, a first-year professor struggling with who he wants to be as a teacher. He's kind and compassionate, but has a black and white world view, a view that Emmett upends entirely.

Emmett is struggling to hide his great love of hockey from his twin, spending his hours coaching youngsters at the local rink. Uncle Jonah is picking up the slack left by his nephew's deadbeat daddy, volunteering to take the little to all sorts of extracurriculars until one sticks, and he's hoping hockey won't. Hockey sticks for the tyke just as strongly as the coach does for Jonah.

An instant connection, a spark of recognition and lust, ignites into a realistic friendship and enduring love story loaded with delicious angst. While Emmett is not Jonah's student, and there is only a four-year age difference between the two, this simmers beneath the surface waiting to be exposed.

A delightful read, I thoroughly enjoyed every page. All the characters were lovely to read. Humorous. Realistic. Adorable. Endearing. From start to finish, I never wanted the story to end. Now I will have the pleasure of starting at the beginning with the CU series again, working my way through all of the Franklin U stories.

Twincerely Yours is the eighth installment in the Franklin U 2 series. Franklin U 2 is a multi-author series that can be read in any order without issue.

Emmett and Benny Dalton are the chaos twins. They made their first appearance in the CU series in West and Asher's (their brothers) books. Emmett and Benny have long known the act of swapping roles when the other didn't want to do something. Emmett feels he has dyslexia and Ben struggles with dyscalculia; both were overlooked when they were children and now feel it's too late to come clean with their secrets. They have been helping each other for their entire school careers. They became experts at pretending to be the other. So when Emmett was asked to leave his college (by something no fault of his own), of course he was going to help his brother with his math at FU. Emmett was incredibly attracted to his statics professor. When Benny drops the class, Emmett is almost sad to not see Jonah any longer. The twins were best friends, but while Benny found his happily ever after, Emmett was losing himself always portraying himself as Benny. When he was finally noticed for himself, he jumps at the chance to just let go and be himself for a while – even if it's with his brother’s professor. He knows he can't pursue anything, just one night, but will one night be enough for Emmett?

Jonah sort of fell into being a professor. He's not sure if it’s something he'll do forever but he's giving it his all as his first teaching job. Jonah and his nephew are close, and Jonah takes him to hockey (his new obsession) practice. Jonah notices the new coach and he seems familiar, but he can’t quite place him. When Dalton says he can only give him one night, Jonah doesn't understand why but does it anyway.

I loved finally getting the chaos twins’ book. I loved everything about it. Emmett and Jonah have so much chemistry and work so hard to make it work between them. The CU series by Eden Finley and Saxon James is one of my favorites and to get more of West and Asher makes me so happy.

Angie☆☆☆
I wanted to love this book. I love twins and I couldn't wait for this book. I am not sure if a series written by different authors for each book is for me. I felt this book was more about Emmett and Ben instead of Emmett and Jonah. I wanted more of Emmett and Jonah. I couldn't understand how Emmett was so taken with Jonah with only a few interactions. I found myself skimming the book at times because it wasn't holding my attention. I am glad Emmett and Jonah were finally able to get their happily ever after, but this was a miss for me. I'm sure others will love it and be sad it's the end of the series.

You should stalk him. Like, in the ‘I want to see you again’ way. Not problematic stalking.

Method Acting by N.R. Walker Spotlight

Release Tour. N.R. Walker’s Method Acting.

CHASE SORIA

Every budding actor knows acting is a difficult gig. There will be grueling auditions and punishing rejections. If you’re lucky, there’ll be roles that pay the bills and even roles that won’t.

Roles we don’t believe in.

But that’s what acting is—acting as if we do believe in them.

So when the semester’s production project is announced and I’m cast as one of the leads, I’m ecstatic. A lot of responsibility, a lot of work, but I’m up for it. Even when I find out what my role is and who my partner is. Amos, the brooding James Dean wannabe, is my on-screen boyfriend. Which is great, except for the fact he hates me.

I can do this. It’s just acting.

Nothing more.

AMOS BEDDINGTON

The 90s are back, apparently. 90210 and Friends, but with a reality TV spin, which means cameras following us around as if they’re capturing the everyday lives of Franklin U students.

Me, but not me.

Me, with no more than a character description, no script or screenplay. Method acting, being the character 24/7, not just when the cameras are rolling. With a campus boyfriend.

Method acting is immersive and intense, and it can be confusing if the lines begin to blur. I mean, I’ve dreamed of being with the irritatingly gorgeous and annoyingly popular Chase Soria, and now I have to be his on-screen boyfriend?

I’m a good actor, sure. But how can I be convincing when I’m not sure I can even convince myself?

Tongue Tied by Christina Lee Instagram Tour

Release Tour. Christina Lee’s Tongue Tied.

Confessing feelings for your best friend takes being tongue-tied to a whole new level.

AUSTIN

Dex has always been my best friend, so it’s no surprise that we attend Franklin U together. We’re complete opposites. Dex is charismatic and outgoing. Me? Let’s just say I wish I could infuse some of his confidence into my veins. Making friends is hard enough, but trying to meet guys? Even with Dex’s help? I’m useless. Maybe it’s because Dex is all about hooking up, but I want my first time to be straight out of the pages of the romance novels I read.

DEX

After a string of mishaps, I swore off helping Austin land guys. But when he asks me to show him the ropes with practice sessions, I get the feeling he’s desperate. Our dates are pretend, so why am I getting so into them? I want to make Austin happy, but the line between friendship and something more is getting really damned blurry. The fluttery feeling, that electric energy every time we touch… it’s addicting. I’m getting overprotective, not only of my time with Austin, but with douchebags who might break his heart.

Eventually, the pretending has to end so Austin can strike out on his own. But how do I tell him I’m not ready to let him go, when every attempt at confessing leaves me tongue-tied?

Tongue Tied is the sixth installment in the Franklin U 2 series. Franklin U 2 is a multi-author series of standalones that can be read in any order but do read best in the order that the authors intended.

Dex and Austin are best friends and have been since they were little. When they end up at Franklin U, of course they room together until Dex moves into the Poli house. Dex is the outgoing, personable person. He knows everyone and interacts with everyone he sees. Austin is the exact opposite. He's the introvert who loves to read and wouldn't go out unless Dex dragged him out with him. When Austin finds someone attractive, he gets super nervous and tongue tied. He's awkward but so adorable. All Dex wants is for Austin to be happy. When Dex suggests fake dating so Dex can show Austin it’s not as hard as he thinks, the lines get blurred between them. When the fake pretend dates and texts turn into more, Dex knows he isn't relationship material and all he wants is a hookup and Austin can only see a relationship in his future. Can they change what they thought they knew about relationships and each other?

I am a huge fan of friends-to-lovers and this one was done so well. Austin and Dex have so much chemistry that everyone else can pick up on, except for the two of them. I loved when they finally opened their eyes to the possibility of being together and, of course, no one else batted an eye. Such a fun read. I can't wait for more from this series!

Angie☆☆☆
This book is part of a series but I haven't read any of the previous books and I felt like it stood okay as a standalone.

Austin and Dex are friends, roommates at first, and polar opposites. Austin is super shy and is more an “at home reading a book” type person. Dex is heavily involved with school and has many friends. When Dex moves out of their dorm Austin seeks his help to meet guys.

I love the friends-to-lovers trope. I love when one pines for the other and the other is clueless and then they get the best happily ever after. I was so excited to read this book. Unfortunately, I was underwhelmed. I didn't feel like Austin and Dex would really be friends and I didn't feel any chemistry. Then all the side stuff with Dex and school, I just felt it was filler for the book and didn't add to anything. I got bored and ended up skimming a lot.

I wanted to root for Austin and Dex. I loved Austin. I didn't like it when Dex tried to help Austin meet people, that Austin usually ended up feeling worse. I just wanted to hug Austin. This book didn't work for me but I'm sure there will be others that it works for.

Full Service is the fifth installment in the Franklin U 2 series. Franklin U 2 is a multi-author series, and all books are standalones and can be read in any order.

Dr. Silas Sinclair is a very distinguished thirty-five-year-old biology professor. He's tenured and loves his job but it can be a bit overwhelming at times, so he's glad he has a TA. starting soon to help ease his workload. After a night out with friends, Silas shocks himself by getting a lap dance from the most attractive man he's ever seen and quickly embarrasses himself. What Silas never expected was that the man giving the lap dance was a student at FU – and what's even more shocking is he's the new TA. Silas tries to keep things professional, but his body doesn't quite get the message. Silas knows it's wrong to lust after the twenty-one-year-old Everly, but he just can't stop himself.

I loved everything about Silas and Everly. Silas put up the best fight but, in the end, Everly just broke down every defense he had. Their chemistry was on point, and I loved Silas's inner monologue of how he absolutely would not allow himself to do something, well maybe 9% wouldn't allow. It made me chuckle every time! And the addition of Lee and "AlmondJoy" and the ribbon dance was so fun. I can't wait for more from this series!

Level Up by Max Walker Release Blitz

Release Tour. Max Walker’s Level Up.

JOEY 'JAY' CRUZ

Moving to San Luco wasn’t my choice. I was kicked out of my old school because of a protest I organized that went south. Now, I was attending Franklin University with only a semester left until graduation and not knowing a single soul.

Until I meet Ryan Redpine at a frat party. He’s handsome, muscular, has a great smile, and I quickly find out he’s the son of a CEO hell-bent on destroying the environment.

I push Ryan out of my mind, deciding to keep my sanity and morals in tact.

But fate had other plans. When Ryan ended up as my surprise dorm mate, avoiding him became impossible. And so was avoiding the feelings that started to develop... Maybe getting expelled wasn't the worst thing that’s ever happened to me. Maybe it was actually the best?

RYAN REDPINE

Jay entered my life like a lightning bolt.

I’d never met someone I was so attracted to, and someone who clearly didn’t want me. The moment he learned about my dad, he shut me out. Then I get reassigned to his dorm. Cue complications, especially when his bed breaks and we're forced to share.

Things quickly heat up, but Jay's adamant about keeping us under wraps. He's planning this big protest at the beach for an oil drilling project and doesn't want my family name tied to it.

So how do I tell Jay my dad is one of the backers? And how do I make sure I don’t lose him in the process?

I shouldn’t have pregamed with Maddy and had those four shots of tequila before we left her apartment.

I shouldn’t have chugged the first beer that was handed to me, quickly sipping the second one.

I shouldn’t have let my guard down, hung out with Ryan so publicly, been introduced to his friends.

And I especially shouldn’t have been stuffing my dick down his throat in the Shenanigan’s stall.

But… fuck, I wanted to do it again.

And again and again and again and again.

Level Up is the fourth book in the Franklin U 2 series. Franklin U 2 is a multi-author series, and all the books are standalones and can be read in any order.

Joey 'Jay' Cruz moved to Franklin U not because he wanted to, but he had to leave his last school because of his environmental activism. The last person he wants to be attracted to is the son of one of the biggest companies affecting the environment today. But what Jay doesn't realize is that Ryan is nothing like his father. He doesn't believe in what his father is doing but he can't make Jay see that. Until fate steps in and floods Ryan's room and conveniently, the only room available is Jay's. Ryan decides to use the time with Jay to get him to see he's not who Jay thinks he is. Jay just wants Ryan gone until Ryan starts knocking those bricks in his wall around him down little by little.

I loved this couple. I was so invested in the story – I had big hopes for a happily ever after! Ryan was an adorable jock who just wanted to show Jay that there was more to him than he thought. Jay was so passionate about his cause and being seen with Ryan could hurt that but once he fell, he finally understood he could have both regardless of who his boyfriend's dad was.

The Hookup Mix-Up by Riley Hart Instagram Tour

Release Tour. Riley Hart’s The Hookup Mix-Up.

PERRY

I moved to San Luco to get to know my brother, and so far, it’s been great. Working as a bartender at Shenanigans, a bar close to Franklin University, there are beautiful men and women everywhere. When a hot guy falls into my arms at a party, I’m down for some naughty fun. Until I realize he’s way too drunk for anything to happen. Thankfully, we agree to meet up the next day.

One near-kiss later, I discover Theo has no idea I’ve been hitting on him. He thinks we’re hanging out as buddies, and to my great regret, says he’s straight. How did I misread this situation when I thought he was giving me all the right signals?

THEO

Perry thinks I’m a nine… a nine! Sure, I’m not into dudes, but it’s flattering that someone as attractive as him thinks I’m hot. Despite the confusion, Perry and I click and agree to keep hanging out. The more time I spend with him, the more I realize there’s a part of myself I’ve been ignoring. One that’s super bi and wants Perry as more than a friend.

Trying to study with him makes things hard for me… below the belt. Unfortunately, his abandonment issues have him open to a fling and nothing more, while I’m catching feelings in a big way. Can I be satisfied with a hookup? Or should I find a way to convince him to take a chance on making this something real?

My whole body is thrumming with electricity, like there’s a lightning storm, and I wonder if Perry will get struck by all this want inside me. “Good?” he asks, pulling away. “So… so… so good. Being bisexual is the best.”

The Hookup Mix-Up is the first book in the second season of the Franklin U series. Franklin U is a multi-author series of standalones all based on the same college campus.

Perry moved to San Luco not to attend Franklin U but to get to know his brother, Ty, who is a student there. Ty grew up with their dad, but Perry did not, hence finding him as an adult to get to know his brother. After hearing about a party going on, Perry is all for going even though he doesn't know anyone there. When he walks in and sees the most adorable guy he's ever seen almost fall off the table and directly into Perry's arms, he thinks it can't be that easy to find a hookup can it? After spending some time with Theo, he realizes he's way too drunk and high to do anything but flirt all night and swaps numbers for when he's sober. Perry's more of a hookup and go kind of guy than letting people in and having a relationship. When he finds out Theo is straight, he doesn't want to stop seeing him and everyone needs a new friend, right?

Theo can't help but like the knight in shining armor who saves him from falling off the table, but while he just thinks he's being a nice guy, he doesn't realize that Perry is flirting and wanting to hook up with him. He likes Perry but not that way, until he starts noticing Perry in a new way. Could he be bisexual? Could there be more to Theo wanting to hang out with Perry all the time?

I loved everything about the beginning of season two of FU. Perry has his walls around built so high from the trauma of growing up with a dad who didn't want him and he thinks no one else will. Theo is able to break down that wall, piece by piece, and show Perry he deserves so much more than he's letting himself have. Theo is under so much pressure being the first in his family to graduate, but school is so incredibly hard for him. He tries but something just doesn't make sense when he's studying, until Perry offers to help and read to him, which makes it easier. They were everything the other needed and then some. The chemistry and the soft way Perry "taught" Theo was so sweet. I am a huge fan of these authors and can't wait to get more in this series!
