Rainblow of Love
Frankie and Preston

“HEY, SEXY.” PRESTON WALKED into the kitchen, fresh from his workout at the gym.

Preston Legare, so posh. My downtown toyboy. In low-hanging shorts and a loose shirt he pulled up to wipe across his face. Baring carved abs, the thin trail of hair, and an indent of muscles that led to a cock I built frickin’ fantasies around.

He looked fucking fine in one of my natty tailored suits. Even better naked. But I had to admit, the sweaty, ruffled, flushed-face look he had workin’ for him right now reminded me of the way he looked after I’d fucked him hard and put him up wet.

Mmmm.

A man could get used to that kind of thing.

“That’s Eye-talian sex god to you.” I leaned into him, drawing his lips to mine with enough wetness and suction to make Preston groan before I turned back to the stove.

The kitchen smelled divine, and I’d been cooking all afternoon for him. My mother’s famous cioppino, Caesar salad, crispy bread I’d made from scratch. Loved spoiling my man.

We lived in a restored carriage house in one of the finer spots of the French Quarter, Charleston, SC. A nice walk through scenic cobbled streets to my shop. Not that we couldn’t afford more. Being a mostly retired hit man and former Mafia enforcer, as well as a bespoke tailor... I was flush. And Preston, the executive assistant extraordinaire, wasn’t hurting for money, neither. But the place was private, quiet, and we had our own courtyard where I liked to fuck the holy hell out of him whenever the weather was warm enough, which was often.

“Why don’t you go take a shower then put your feet up? After you pour me a glass of wine.”

“You going to join me?” Preston turned me to him, pressing his fine body against me.

“Frisky?” Madon’. I loved it when he rubbed all over me.

Tight bod. Perfect hair. Nice cock. Great—fucking great—ass.

I was tempted to get all sudsy and wet with him, but I needed to finish cooking in the kitchen before I cooked somewhere else. Capisce?

“Gotta decline that offer, babe.”

“Why? Do we have plans tonight?” He kissed me, doing that crazy good thing with his tongue—which was pierced—that drove me absolutely up the wall.

“Nada,” my voice rumbled out, way huskier than before.

“Do you have plans tonight?” He stiffened, and not in the good way.

“What’s that supposed to mean?” My nerves were already a little on edge, and I stared at him.

“You’ve been acting sneaky lately.” His eyes turned brittle and hard.

“What’s gotten your jockstrap in a twist all of a sudden?”

Preston grunted—a sound of sheer annoyance—and pushed against my chest.

“Jesus fuggin’ Christ, amante. You accusin’ me of something here?” Crossing my arms over my chest, I stood my ground as he went all pit bull on me.

“I want to know who else you’re screwing!”

Complete and utter shock ranged through me. Quickly followed by a burst of anger. “You’re on my cock so much, when am I supposed to have time to find a random fuck buddy?”

“That’s all I am? A fuck buddy. Your flamer fag? Your backdoor boyfriend?”

My eyes widened with every word he said, insecurity oozing off him—Preston—the most self-confident man I knew.

“Will you shut those gorgeous blowjob lips for just one second? Madon’, and I’m the one who’s supposed to have a temper. M’I right?”

M/F, M/M – almost like an anthology.

This was a good collection of short stories, some erotic, some funny – but they were all about the Carolina Bad Boys family.

Each was detailed enough to be a true short story.

If you're looking for entertainment, this is a quick read and gave you a glimpse into the lives of each Carolina Bad Boy.

Ruthie☆☆☆☆
For all the fans of this fabulous series this is a must read – for anyone who hasn't yet had the pleasure... well let me direct you to Stone: At Your Service, and make sure you have plenty of time because once you start you will find yourself at this book before very long.

I think I enjoyed the Epilogue of this epilogue most of all – such a fun, lighthearted ending to a brilliant series, and a real feeling of passing on the baton, yet still being full of mischief. Ms. Warren has done a great service to the loyal fan at giving each couple a proper send off, and whilst they are still snippets of their lives, they give us the certainty that the happily ever afters continue long after the gang leave the page.

Thank you, Ms. Warren, for an amazing series, can't wait to see what comes next!

Lee'Anne☆☆☆
I wasn’t really a huge fan of this epilogue collection. It didn’t really have a plotline, so it made it difficult to get into it. I did enjoy getting a final glimpse of each of the MC boys and seeing their stories wrapped up with a nice bow though. I appreciate that while I may not have found it a page turner, it is still a super steamy read and those scenes are written with Rie Warren’s usual amazingness, so that’s what kept me reading to the end. I’m sad to see this series end but I’m so excited to see what Rie Warren releases next!

Tail by Rie Warren Release Blitz

I’m most known for honeys on my arms and notches on my bedpost. But this time, I’m not chasing tail. Every rose has its thorn, and I’ve just been snagged.

TAIL

I have girls lapping out of my hands, forming lines for a chance to dance on my cock. Until she shows up. And it all grinds to a halt. Madison Rose Rush. No joke there. One look at her, and I feel a rush all over my body. I want that thing all the other dudes found. Love. A mate. A classy broad I probably don’t deserve.

I know one thing.

Maddy Rush—Handsome’s sexy sister—is strictly off-limits.

Is that gonna stop me?

Hell. No. Not even with the Bad Seeds MC breathing down my neck for a debt I can’t pay.

MADDY

VP of Retribrewtion Brewery, heiress to the Rush Distillery empire, I’ve played by the family’s rules. I’m community-spirited, high-class, worldly-wise... but that doesn’t necessarily mean I’m a good girl.

And Tail makes me want to be bad in ways I never even knew. He’s dangerously gorgeous. He’s affiliated with the same MC as my big brother. He has inked sleeves and sex on the brain and Max warned me away from him.

Is that going to stop me?

Hell no.

Nothing will stop us. Nothing. Until a rival MC—outlaw bikers—retaliates against Tail. Bad Seeds indeed.

Author’s Note: Can be read as a standalone, however it is recommended to read the entire series.

Maddy stormed right past Handsome and me. She swept up toward the popcorn-eating gawkers and started for the clubhouse door, which Tucker held open for her.

“I’ll go after her,” Handsome muttered.

“Like hell you will.” I pushed past him, stalking to the building.

Throwing a last glare at the obnoxious bastards, I entered then shut the door in all their faces.

Inside, Maddy was behind the bar. She slammed a bottle of vodka on the counter then dug around until she located the glass pitcher part of the blender usually reserved for the sickly sweet strawberry daiquiris we sometimes made folks drink as a joke.

I decided to stay across the room, just for safety’s sake. I’d never seen her totally lose her temper before. She was fierce. And definitely cute.

Silence thickened. Except for when she kept slapping shit around at the bar, lining up bottles small and large. She didn’t look my way. Not even once.

Her mouth firmly clamped shut, Maddy began concocting a Bloody Mary. One that consisted of about three parts vodka, one part tomato juice, a healthy dose of Tabasco sauce, and a fierce shake of the Worcestershire. When she started wedging lemons, I thought about stepping in. But she was good with the knife, and I didn’t wanna get between her and a sharp blade.

With each jerking motion she made, one of my eyebrows cocked higher and higher.

My cock grew harder and harder.

Seeing her on the warpath was a total turn on. Of course it was. I was just that twisted.

She poured the mix into a tall glass half-filled with ice cubes.

“You want some celery with that?” I asked, trying not to grin.

“No I don’t want any damn celery.”

I approached closer, cautiously. “That’s a good thing. Don’t think we have any anyway.”

She muttered out a string of choice words regarding a very important piece of my anatomy and how she’d like to chop it up like celery, and I had to work hard to keep a chuckle from rolling past my lips. Mostly because I knew she wasn’t serious. No way in hell did she wanna Bobbitt me, not after I’d loved her so good last night.

She took a long glug of the high-octane drink and only coughed once.

Then Kinkaid appeared from the back.

“Did someone say celery?” He held a bunch of green stalks in his hand.

“Out.” I ordered, grabbing the celery when he passed by.

Sidling beside Maddy, I rinsed off the celery, cut off a piece, offered it to her.

She glared for a long moment before taking it and wedging it into her half-empty glass with a vicious swirl. And she downed the rest, eyes watering. Then she poured another possibly toxic Bloody Mary.

“You do know it’s not even noon yet.” I crossed my arms and leaned beside her while she stood stiffly, making sure no part of our bodies touched.

“It’s Sunday! Ever heard of brunch?” she snapped.

Laughter clutched my stomach, but I would not let it out.

Pounding her glass on the bar, she whirled on me. “This is your big work emergency?” She whacked me a good one... with the rest of the celery. “Fighting with my brother?”

“He started it?”

Tossing the celery into the sink, she punched me pretty solidly on the arm. “You lied to me!”

“Just didn’t want you to see us going at it.”

“How noble.” She scoffed.

“Look, Maddy.” I raked my fingers through my hair. “I’m sorry about that. I tried not to hit him back, but he wasn’t gonna stop. And I get it. He’s looking out for you.” I grabbed her shoulders, and those beautiful eyes lifted to mine. “But that’s what I wanna do. Take care of you.”

“Well, bashing someone around is not the way to do that.”

“I get it.”

“I’m still mad.”

“I know.”

“I really like you.” She relented, hands roaming up my arms to my shoulders.

I let my grin peek out. “I really like you too.”

“And last night was...” Her gaze dropped to my mouth, and I felt a sudden clawing hunger for her.

“Yeah. Last night was...” Pulling her up to me, I kissed her lush lips, sliding my tongue inside.

M/F MC Romance
Triggers: Click HERE to see Avid Reader’s review on Goodreads for trigger warnings.

Tail is a member of the MC. He has lusted after Maddy for a while, but knows that she could be off limits because she's the sister of Handsome, a fellow brother. That doesn't really seem to bother Tail that much, as he decides to pursue Maddy anyways.

While Handsome isn't too pleased, he does acknowledge that Maddy is her own person. However, Handsome does have an issue with Tail's beef with a rival... Tail owes him money and the rival club is dangerous and mean.

I liked that Tail had a sensitive side – he took care of his mother and wanted her to have the best. It's a side that you probably would not normally see.

This is a typical romance where boy likes girl, girl likes boy, they share some hot chemistry and scenes. The book is part of a series, but I have only read this one and despite not knowing all of the characters, never truly felt lost.

I think this is a sweet story in a MC series and would definitely read more. It shows a softer side of the club and when push comes to shove, all bikers will protect their fellow brothers and family.

Ruthie☆☆☆☆
This is the sixth book in the series, and it is sad that the Carolina Bad Boys stories are coming to an end. I am looking forward to the book long epilogue though!

Tail – whose nickname is based on... well you can guess if you read MC romances – has realised that everyone is settling down, and knows that he has found the one too. He just hasn't had the nerve, or the time to do anything about it yet. A bad debt is holding him back, and a fear of admitting weakness to his guys. There are some pretty dramatic events that need to unfurl before he can get the girl, but at least there is no doubt that Maddy wants him just as badly. Love his wooing of her, super sweet and super hot! Lots of great side characters, including his Ma and her carer, Miss Jeannie.

Lovely installment, where we get to catch up with other couples and see Tail finally get his girl. Not too dark, plenty of passion, delicious!

Lee'Anne☆☆☆☆
Rie Warren is one of my go-to authors and she’s really outdone herself with this Carolina Bad Boys series. I’ve been hoping for Maddy’s story since she first began appearing in the series – this is the last book of the series and it goes out with a bang!

Tail is known around the club for all the “tail” he gets and Maddy is the woman who changes everything for him. The problem, Maddy is off limits to the club brothers as she’s Handsome’s sister. Tail looks around at all his brothers happily hitched and sees that for himself with Maddy – once his mind is set, nothing will get in his way. Tail is known around the club as being a manwhore, but in reality he’s the worlds sweetest guy, he takes care of his sick mother, and cares deeply for Maddy. Once he’s able to prove his worth to Maddy, the rest is history.

I think my favorite part of this book is Maddy’s smart-mouth snarky attitude, it made her a super enjoyable character to read. Then you have Tail – I cannot even with how sweet he really is beneath his rough biker exterior. This is a book you not only won’t want to put down but that you’ll be sad to see end. I can’t wait to see what series Rie Warren comes up with next!

Rush by Rie Warren Blog Tour

Hot girls, hot cars, and time behind bars... I’m the most unsuitable dude for pretty girl-next-door Shiloh Lockhart.

MAX HANDSOME RUSH

I’m the black sheep of the Rush family, cut off from the bourbon distillery dynasty. Shrug. They didn’t approve of the high-octane rap sheet of arrests marring my pretty boy, prep school upbringing. Hot girls, hot cars, and time behind bars for illegal street racing—what can I say? Speed is in my blood.

Now I’ve cleaned up. I’m being good. I’ve got my own plans, and they for damn sure don’t include Shiloh Lockhart. Shy. The goddamn classic girl next door. She shows up out of the clear blue, turning all the MC dudes into drooling manwhores. But not me. I’ve got too much to lose to risk falling for a perfect girl like her.

When Shy’s overprotective folks tell her I’m bad news, they’re right. But come to find out she’s already endured more than her fair share of shit-gone-bad in her life, and she’s convinced I won’t make it any worse. Shy couldn’t be more wrong.

SHILOH LOCKHART

I haven’t seen Max since he got kicked out of the Rush family home years ago. Now I’m determined to get back in touch with the boy I used to crush on growing up. They call him Handsome at the motorcycle club he belongs to, and I can see why. The long dark brown hair. The smoldering whiskey-colored eyes. The sculpted face and big muscled body.

Too bad he’s intent on treating me like a kid sister. Hmm. We’ll see how long that lasts, because to squash this schoolgirl crush I need to be with Max just once...turns out one taste of Rush isn’t enough.

My situation is life threatening, but what he’s hiding is even more dangerous. Too late. Rush is already in my blood.

Author’s Note: Can be read as a standalone, however it is recommended to read the entire series.

Ripped and ready, I cut through the dim, cool interior of the MC.

Sweaty, half naked, with my shorts riding low, I stomped past the pool tables.

My tats gleaming, my muscles charged, I barged out the front door. Brodie trailed me, grinning like an evil ape when I swung my head back to—yup—sling about my fifth glare of the day c/o Shiloh Lockhart.

I was usually a pretty easygoing guy.

Something about having her hanging around turned me into a snarling animal.

Then I saw her helluva hot ride—a fucking white Hennessey Hellcat with a black racing stripe.

Holy. Christ.

The hot coupe with total street cred was nothing short of drool-inducing for a gearhead like me. A flat-out, top-of-the line, bitchin’ ride.

And then I took stock of Shy, leaning against the abovementioned droolworthy Charger, looking no less jaw dropping herself.

Strike. That.

I meant
I could see why Tail trailed out after us, then Cole.

Had nothing to do with my gut deep reaction to seeing a gorgeous woman with a delicious body wearing a long raspberry-colored dress that tightened over her tits and flowed around her legs. Or the hint of sunshine in her smile when she saw me. Or the sleek blonde-brown sun-drenched hair.

Or the luscious lips.

Not At All.

“’Zup, Shy?” I reeled in my tongue, half-shuttered my eyes, took anything but a platonic, good old friends greeting off the table.

Unfortunately I hadn’t counted on her inspection of me.

Her soft silver-colored eyes roamed and roved over me as she licked those—yup—luscious lips. I straightened taller the longer she detailed every inch of my body—most of it bare, most of it hard, a lot of it inked—and the color in her cheeks brightened.

Fuck. She was making me self-conscious. I almost ducked my head in an aw shucks move.

Brodie would get his rocks off about that.

Not gonna happen.

She slowly—in a silky movement—pulled herself away from the Hellcat. She came to me at what had to be an intentionally seductive pace.

Or my breath had roughened for nothing.

Didn’t look like nothing.

Really needed to be.

Hellcat?

I might have to start calling her that.

Could I hold out my fist for a knuckle bump with Shy? Back slap? High five?

Because hugging her at that exact moment might prove lethal to all my just an old friend dictates.

Shy took matters into her own hands, pulling me to her by the back of my neck while I played wooden soldier in her embrace. Something sure was catching wood.

Between my legs.

So wrong.

“Uhm.” Disentangling her arms from me, I created some space and hoped my shorts were baggy enough to hide a growing boner. “What brought you here?”

I heard Tail loud-whisper to Cole. “She wants some of that.”

“Handsome’s makeover’s working out then.”

Nah. Dude. He’s magic. Could always pull pussy.”

Brodie strode up to the duo and smacked each of them on the back of the head. Not that he wasn’t capable of the same damn loose-lipped bullshit.

Shy—Miss Manners and all—pretended she hadn’t heard a thing. And for that I loved her.

“I was just on my way to a meeting and I got a flat.” She pointed to the rear left tire. “Hoped you could help?”

I took a turn around sizzling hot Hennessey then hunkered down to inspect the dead tire. “You should really take this to Stone’s. It’s their specialty. I can put on the dummy tire and drive it over if you want.”

Lifting to my feet, I realized Shy was way too fucking close in proximity.

Her fresh, beach-swept scent slid over me.

Her silvery eyes shone under a long fan of eyelashes.

And one step closer, her tits would hit my bare chest.

I stepped back, wiping my palms on my shorts.

“But you were always into this kind of thing. You can take care of me, right, Max?” Eyelash flutter and sweet smile.

Shit.

Brodie—bastard barbarian—shoved me forward. “He’ll do it. On the house too. We got just the right tire inside.”

I walked over to the garage side of Chrome and Steele and rapped on the wide door. “Open up.”

My feet pounding on pavement, I struck back to Shy and the Dodge that gave me an instant hard-on.

Because I refused to blame the sudden need to bust-a-nut on my old friend, never flame, the girl next door.

“Drive it in.”

“Why don’t you do the honors?” She tossed me her keys.

I looked at the car. Looked at her. And decided I might never get the chance to drive a Hellcat again.

Shrugging, I eased into the driver’s side then pushed open the passenger door. “Hop in.”

With a smoky laugh, Shy curled in beside me.

I started the car, and the loud purring engine sent another jolt to my dick.

This coupe was goddamn heart-stopping gorgeous.

Come to think of it, so was Shy.

Not going there.

I found my voice somewhere deep down in my chest. “What made you buy this?”

“I like my toys to be hard, fast, and sexy.”

“Toys?” A ragged breath rasped from my throat.

I love coming back to the Carolina Bad Boys series. Rush definitely can be read as a standalone, but it is so much better being read as the author intended, including Bad Boys of Retribution MC. You really don't want to miss any of the action or sexiness that these books provide.

Rush is centered around Maxwell (Handsome) Rush. Handsome comes from money but he's been making his own way for some time now since he's been estranged from his family. Not making the best decisions growing up, his past mistakes are threatening his future.

Shiloh grew up next to Handsome when they were kids. When she pops back up in his life he can't believe his eyes. The girl he once knew is standing in the middle of Retribution MC looking more like a woman than the girl he remembered. All the MC guys are all taking notice but Handsome. He still sees Shy as his sister's friend, which he clearly put into the friend zone. Will Handsome be able to see Shy as the woman she is today and not the girl he once knew? Shy has her own secrets to protect. Can Handsome break down the walls she's built over time?

I loved getting glimpses of the guys, to see how their lives are progressing. Rush was full of so much emotion. I can say I shed a tear or ten while reading, but I also found myself laughing out loud at some of the conversations. I can't wait to see where Ms. Warren goes next!

Ruthie☆☆☆☆
This is the fifth book in the series, and is a really, really good read. It is a very emotional and intense book. Following on from four wonderful romances, it was difficult to believe that Ms. Warren could pull any more stories out of the Carolina Bad Boys, but she certainly did. And as we get to see the rest of the gang and witness their ongoing happiness too, it is a special addition to the series.

Max deserves a woman who can heal the wrongs of his past and bring him peace in his present. Shy turns out to be just that woman, although the journey is certainly not smooth and easy. I managed to laugh, cry, and tense up at the prospect of what could go wrong. And I loved how they worked on fitting together. This is not an easy ready, but most definitely a fulfilling one.

Lee'Anne☆☆☆☆
I’ve really enjoyed each of these books, though this one wasn’t my favorite, it’s still pretty rockin’!

Max Rush, aka Handsome, was disowned by his rich family years ago because he couldn’t stay out of trouble. Since then, he’s found a home and family in the Retribution MC. Shiloh (Shy) was Max’s neighbor growing up, and when she shows up at the MC clubhouse he definitely doesn’t remembering her being so grown up. Shy’s had a crush on Max for years and now that life has thrown her an unbelievable challenge, that she’s working to overcome, she’s decided not to let life pass her by and she’s determined to get her man. When Max’s rough past comes back to haunt him, it threatens Shy and opens his eyes up to his feelings, but he doesn’t want to drag her into his crazy MC life…

This is a sexy read and I really loved every page after the first few chapters. It was a slow start for me and that’s why I’m giving 4 instead of 5 stars. I can’t wait to see what Rie Warren puts out next! Though this book can be read as a standalone. one of my favorite parts is that we get a little of each of the other Carolina Bad Boys in this one!

Rie is the badass, sassafras author of Sugar Daddy and the Don’t Tell series–a breakthrough trilogy that crosses traditional publishing boundaries beginning with In His Command. Her latest endeavor, the Carolina Bad Boys series, is fun, hot, and southern-sexy.

A Yankee transplant who has traveled the world, Rie started out a writer—causing her college professor to blush over her erotic poetry without one ounce of shame. Not much has changed. She swapped pen for paintbrushes and followed her other love during her twenties. From art school to marriage to children and many a wild and wonderful journey in between, Rie has come home to her calling. Her work has been called edgy, daring, and some of the sexiest smut around.

You can connect with Rie via the social media hangouts listed on her website. She is represented by Saritza Hernandez, Corvisiero Literary Agency.
