When
the scorching hot one-night stand turns out to be the guy you're competing with
for a new job!
My first evening in London feels like kismet when I bump into a charming,
book-loving Englishman, and by the end of the night, he's making me see stars.
I'm floating when we make plans to meet again.
Then fate decides to pull a fast one on me.
Turns out my smoldering new lover is my red-hot competition, and we're vying
for the same promotion at the elite auction house I crossed an ocean for.
If that's not enough, the hottie and I are forced to work together on a brand
new collection.
Every. Single. Tempting. Day.
What's an American woman in London to do?
Staying far, far away would be the safe choice, especially when I learn about
his past and how it mirrors mine.
But I don't always play it safe with my heart...
Contents Include: A grumpy/sunshine office romance, secret gardens,
knee-weakening kisses by the river and a hero who loves books.

Jo is living life in New York and has great friends and a great job. When she
goes into the office for a meeting about a promotion, she finds out that she is
heading to London to work. She is not excited about it but is going to make the
best of it.
She arrives in London with a list from her friends of places to see and things
to do. The first thing on the list is to find a sexy one-night stand. She does
that with Heath. With cheesy pickup lines and flirty banter, their sexual
chemistry is off the charts. They wonder about each other but don't ask.
Come Monday morning, the surprise is known when Jo shows up at Heath's office,
and now she is part of the team. And she is also up for the VP job, same as
Heath.
Can they continue to work together and remain friends? Will the chemistry
between them get in the way? Will anyone at work find out about the
relationship before she started work?
When Jo was introduced in the last book, I couldn't wait for her story, she was
the one in the group who was leaving for London for her job and a new life's
adventure.
I found that I loved Jo and Heath; they had the perfect chemistry, were on the
same wavelength, and loved books, art, and literature. I loved that Heath
wanted Jo to see his London and not the tourist spots; it made it more special.
This book took you along for the ride of a love that was meant to be, from New
York to London and back to New York for a short while and back to London
because her heart was left in London.
You can read this as a standalone, but I recommend reading the others in this
series, you do not want to miss any of this group of friends. They are all
great. I can't wait for the next book.
