What an emotionally gripping subject, told in a rather humorous way!! Tara Sivec has a serious gift for comedic writing and I am just in awe of her ability.
Claire and Liz...what can I say about these two? They've been together forever, and it was nice to hear about the beginnings of their relationship. I will forever love these characters <3
Together, they really can surpass anything and everything life can/will throw at them.
I was in tears (before the story even started & many times during) as I'm sure many will be – everyone has been affected by cancer somehow and it IS an overwhelmingly difficult time. With humor, though, the dire situations can be lightened – helping everyone cope.
I loved this story, I love the sentiment behind it, I love the donation, and I love Tara Sivec!

“...laughter makes everything better. It might not cure cancer, but it sure makes it a hell of a lot more bearable.”
There are so many women who fight this disease daily. You know they are being strong, fighting with everything they have, determined to kick cancer's *ss. Tattoos and Tatas is a look at a different side to that fight. Sometimes laughter does make it okay. Friends may not cure you, but they make the fight a little easier.
You know that Tara Sivec isn't going to disappoint and she really didn't with this one. This was a great read, emotional yes, but definitely worth it.

Tattoos and Tatas is another funny story from Tara Sivec.
Told from Liz's point of view the story shows the characters dealing with a breast cancer diagnosis. The author demonstrates perfectly how humour can be used to help us all get through the tough times.
Even though dealing with serious issues I laughed out loud, long and hard repeatedly reading Tattoos and Tatas. A must read for lovers of this series. If you haven't read Tara's work before, go back and start at the beginning, Seduction and Snacks, and work your way up to Tattoos and Tatas, you'll love it.
