When
Lennox and Connor race full throttle into a secret relationship, can they
navigate the track, or will they crash and burn?
Lennox Bradley is Formula 1 royalty. His father was an F1 champion, and so is
his brother, so expectations are high for Lennox’s debut season. But when he
suffers a koala-related PR disaster at the Australian Grand Prix, he’s thrust
into the media spotlight. For an introvert like Lennox, it’s a nightmare.
Connor Blake doesn’t know the first thing about Formula 1, but as
communications manager for Bradley Racing, it’s his job to manage the fallout
for Lennox. Except Lennox isn’t anything like the arrogant, shallow guy he’s
expecting, and it gets harder and harder to deny the magnetism between them.
When Connor and Lennox both have to choose what it is they really want for
themselves, is there any room for a future together?
This M/M romance from Lisa Henry features a secret relationship, two guys who
are bad at admitting their feelings, pining, and is set in the high octane
world of Formula 1 featuring fast cars, driving at the limit, spectacular
crashes, heated rivalries, and of course, a HEA.

Lennox Bradley is following in his father's and brother's footsteps as an F1
driver. His father, Andrew, is a past champion and the owner of the team with
the goal of making Lennox and his older brother the one and two drivers for
Bradley racing. Lennox was just pulled up as the reserve driver and has a PR
nightmare happen. Connor has been called in to turn the disaster into a
positive. Lennox knows he messed up and has to do what needs to be done to make
it right but the longer he's in F1, he realizes it's the last place he wants to
be.
Lennox has made Connor's job harder, but Connor sees glimpses of the real
Lennox. The one that he keeps hidden, and he can't help but want to learn more.
Sleeping with someone you are representing isn't a great idea but falling for Lennox
is the easiest thing Connor has ever done.
Lisa Henry is a new author to me, as well as F1 since starting this series. I
enjoyed everything about this read. The pace, the romance, the angst. I
honestly could not put it down. I can't wait to check out Henry's backlist as
well as what comes next for this series.

This is one of the Lights Out series, which I am enjoying a great deal. I love
Formula 1 and these books are really giving a different perspective on what
"could be" in a seemingly very 'straight' world.
Lennox has been called up as a F1 reserve driver to join his brother. His
father owns the team, and the second driver is just waiting until he is passed
over, so that Lennox gets a drive. This is not what Lennox wants at all – he is
much more interested in developing new talent, but his father wants his sons to
race. After a bit of a PR disaster involving a koala, the team's PR guy, Connor,
has to rehabilitate Lennox.
I loved the evolving relationship between these two guys. Thrown together due
to the incident, but both realising that there is a forbidden attraction, and
the danger of being outed. Whilst Connor lives his truth, he is all too aware
of what that could cost Lennox.
A very entertaining read, thank you!
LISA HENRY likes to tell stories,
mostly with hot guys and happily ever afters. But they've gotta work for it! No
free lunches on her watch.
Lisa lives in tropical North Queensland, Australia. She doesn't know why, because
she hates the heat, but she suspects she's too lazy to move. She spends half
her time slaving away as a government minion, and the other half plotting her
escape.
She attended university at sixteen, not because she was a child prodigy or
anything, but because of a mix-up between international school systems early in
life. She studied History and English, neither of them very thoroughly.
She shares her house with too many cats, a dog, a green tree frog that swims in
the toilet, and as many possums as can break in every night. This is not how
she imagined life as a grown-up.
Lisa has been published since 2012, and was a LAMBDA finalist for her quirky,
awkward coming-of-age romance Adulting 101, and a Rainbow Awards
finalist for 2019’s Anhaga.
