Trails of Love by Melissa Foster Blog Tour

Discover the magic of New York Times bestseller Melissa Foster's writing, and see why millions of readers have fallen in love with the Bradens and the rest of the Love in Bloom big-family romance collection.

When Graham Braden travels to Oak Falls, Virginia to attend the wedding of his buddy Reed Cross to Grace Montgomery, he sticks around to help with renovations to Reed's new theater. The last thing he expects is to be asked to assess and possibly invest in Grace's sister Morgyn's business endeavor. Graham is a careful, keen businessman, and Morgyn is impulsive, disorganized, and more interested in the energy flow in her eclectic retail shop than in the accuracy of her records. While Graham isn't ready to open his pockets to the sassy, sexy business owner, he may be ready to open his heart.

All Love in Bloom novels are written to stand alone and may also be enjoyed as part of the larger series, so dive right into this fun, sexy romance.

“What are your three most favorite things?” Morgyn asked as she strummed the guitar.

“That’s a hard one.”

“Okay, and the next two?” She bumped him with her shoulder, looking as sweet as she did sexy wearing one of his flannel shirts over her dress.

He loved her quirky sense of humor.

“Shouldn’t that be one of your favorite things?” he teased.

She shifted her gaze up toward the sky and strummed a faster tune, singing, “It’s your turn, not mine.”

“I’ve got a lot of favorite things.” He ran his fingers along her leg. “Your sexy legs.” Her eyes darkened, and she played a little slower.

“And the way flecks of darker blue glitter in your eyes when you get turned on.”

“Cracker,” she said just above a whisper.

“I can’t help it that you’re beautiful.”

“Stop. You’re embarrassing me. Tell me something real.”

“That was real, and number three would be your free spirit.”

“Says Mr. Prepared, who brought a pop-up shower stall, a battery-operated heater, and a Coleman stove like my grandfather used. I’m willing to bet there’s a kitchen sink around here somewhere.”

“No sink, but I can rig one up if you need it.” He leaned in for a kiss, lingering because her kisses were unlike any others. She kissed with the same energy she seemed to do everything else, giving herself over to it completely, savoring every second.

Her eyes remained closed for a few heated seconds after their lips parted. When she opened them, a sated smile appeared like a gift. He wondered if she kissed other guys like that, or if she felt the same unfamiliar, unstoppable connection he did.

“I like kissing you, sunshine.” He brushed her hair behind her ear and kissed her again, slower and sweeter than the last. “I’m adding that to my list. I think I need more than three things.”

M/F Romance

Graham and Morgyn are soul mates. While they might have happened upon each other during a music festival, they can't let their connection go to waste. Morgyn never has one-night stands and Graham usually examines everything from all angles but instead, both throw caution to the wind and follow their feelings.

Morgyn is a free spirit who loves what she does. She has a quirkiness to her that is adorable. But while she seems adorable, she is also strong and unwavering. I liked that a lot about her. She was free, but still able to present a strong front.

Graham is a Type A personality. He assesses everything and is never without a plan. But when he sees and connects with Morgyn, his days of having a plan for everything are kind of out of the window. I liked how he was connected to her family and his family. He made it a point to make sure that Morgyn's family didn't think of him as a threat.

Overall, this was a true romance story. I enjoyed it a lot and really look forward to the next story.

What happens when a free-spirit and an avid adventure-seeker meet at a music festival? Two people trying to find a way to make a long-distance relationship work.

Morgyn is laid back, artistic, and has a wandering soul. Graham is an adventure seeker who is doing his part to invest in eco-friendly projects across the globe. Their connection is tangible and reading about it makes you root for them even though it seems like a long-shot for the relationship to work.

The best part of this book? Graham's willingness to learn from Morgyn, to listen to her hopes and dreams, and respect the choices she's making. Morgyn realizes that having a relationship with someone means thinking about someone other than yourself and when Morgyn does that, she finds that her wings are not clipped, but she is able to do more with her life with Graham's unwavering support.

I can't wait for Brindle's book.

This is one of many interlinked stories, and I love that the people from other families pop up in books, and in this case, Graham Braden and Morgyn Montgomery get to find their happily ever after. Melissa Foster has once again excelled herself, writing a unique, dynamic, and very sexy romance.

They meet in amusing circumstances at a music festival; little did they realise just how significant they would become to each other. That said, they definitely feel the universe shift when they first kiss. The lightness of their conversations, their openness, and their obvious chemistry is enchanting and fun.

I loved the description of Graham's van, and his inventiveness at making it livable. It gives us an immediate insight into how well he will fit with Morgyn's creative life. When we then get to visit her tiny house and her barn/workshop, it was clear that they were destined to work. However, the dangers of mixing business with pleasure could be an issue, as well as Morgyn's expectation to live her life in her home town.

It was a real pleasure to meet up with all of the Montgomery family, especially at Grace and Reed's nuptials. I am looking forward to catching up with them all again soon... and watching the next one fall!

I have read a few books in Melissa Foster’s The Bradens and Montgomerys series, which easily won me over! I was literally three pages into Foster’s Trails of Love and I could already tell this book was going to have me completely invested from start to finish. Trails of Love is a stand-alone book, but it weaves in and out characters from both the Montgomery and Braden families.

Morgyn Montgomery and Graham Braden’s story had me hook, line, and sinker. I simply adored reading their story. Plus, their chemistry was off the charts. I loved how they met at a musical festival and they had such an instant connection! Morgan’s character was such a vibrant free spirit that I literally want to be best friends with her and Graham’s character had me swooning.

Melissa Foster did not disappoint with Trails of Love. Foster has shown me that she really knows how to write a captivating romance story that will have everyone invested in her characters’ happily ever after story.

Plus, now I can’t wait to finally read Brindle Montgomery and Trace Jericho’s story next! I’ll be adding Wild, Crazy Hearts to my to-be-read pile immediately.

All in all a solid five-star read for Melissa Foster’s Trails of Love. This book will keep you reading all night long!
