Ruthie – ☆☆☆
This is an engaging read, but I really wanted to slap Dane a couple of times (at least) for being such a pushover. I could understand that Cal fell for him when he saw him in court, but out of court, he just allowed his father to dictate everything. When it turns out that his fiancée is also a very decent human being, he still struggled to stand up for himself.

I did enjoy getting snippets of Erik and Kevin, from the first book in the series, and knowing that they were still super happy together. It also helped explain why Cal was so persistent, in view of the fact that he knew that they had made it work.

A good book to pick up and enjoy on a quiet evening.
