Her Men by Ashley Ladd Blog Tour

Forty-four year old Julie Weston has loved Timmy and James since her college days twenty something years ago. She's fantasized about both all these long years, never able to choose between them.

Hoping Tim and James will attend, she attends their college marching band reunion. When both men show up her dreams are answered. They're sexier than she imagined and she hopes they won't be disappointed by her older self.

It turns out both men came just to see her again and neither is happy about the other’s presence. They fight over her, confusing her more than ever. It takes a hot ménage…or two…for her heart to decide which one she’s in love with.

A shadow fell across Julie, waking her up from her nap and a husky voice washed over her. “You’re going to be sorry falling asleep out here. This sun is brutal.”

Groggy, she shaded her eyes and looked up at the shadowy figure in awe. “Timmy, is that you? You’re early.”

He leaned down, his body still sinewy and strong, and held out his hand to her. Nary a wrinkle marred his matured face. Only a few laugh lines fanned out from his eyes which added to his attractiveness. “You, too. Is that a sign?”

She couldn’t help but chuckle. Since when did Tim believe in signs? “A sign?”

“That you want to see me, be with me in private, as I want to see you and be with you in private.”

She swallowed hard and put her hand in his, her heart somersaulting when they touched for the first time in more than thirty years. A maelstrom of emotion washed over her and she didn’t want to mess up what was probably her last chance to be with him, so she wasn’t about to play coy. Slowly, seductively, she licked her lips. “You read my mind.”

As he helped her up his gaze smoldered into her eyes. He dragged her against him and his hard cock rubbed against her. He nipped her ear, then whispered huskily, “Your nipples are puckering against your suit. I’d call that a sign.”

Standing on her tip toes, she replied hoarsely, “Your very hard, very hot cock is pressing into my stomach. That’s another sign.”

He pressed his lips to hers, not plundering but light enough he was able to speak against them, “Then we should do something about all these signs.”

This quick read set over a weekend at a College Reunion soon has the reader engaged in the story. Before too long it seems clear what the right decision will be, but watching it unfold is very entertaining. Does she choose well? That is for you to read and find out!

The writer does a good job of getting inside Julie's head, and her thoughts and behaviours make sense given she is back amongst her peers of twenty years ago. Friendships made at that time in one's life can stand the test of time and not require constant attention.

As winter approaches, I can see this being a perfect evening's read.

This was a cute, quick read involving adults – real adults (you know, over the age of 23?!?)!
Julie is attending her 20-something-ish Marching Band Reunion in hopes of meeting the two men whom captured her heart in college. What she isn't planning is how to deal when BOTH show up in search of her!

I had a favorite from the beginning of the story, and had to know how this triangle played out.
There were humorous moments, a bit of action, and a little spicy erotica.

With the title Her Men, I was expecting more and for both of the males to act like men. This was a short story that could be read within an hour. I wasn’t really impressed; I knew who she was going to pick after just a little interaction with one of the characters. It was an ok book, just not as good as I was hoping.

Characters: The characters were well written and believable.
Sex: What little there was, was steamy
Religious: No
Would I recommend to others: Yes
More than one book in the series: No
Genre: Romance M/F/M
Would I read more by this author: Yes

If only. Those are the two words that seem to sum up Julie's thoughts as she attends her college reunion. If only Timmy hadn't left her high and dry. If only she had made a move on James after Timmy left. If only. We've all played the game and wondered what if.

Both Timmy and James show up at the reunion and both want her. And she wants them. Together, ménage style.

I must admit that I had I had my favorite of the two guys and I'm glad Julie chose the one she did.

Fun, fast paced book that I enjoyed in one sitting.
