This story will grab you from the first page until the very end. Levi and Tara are close friends, although Tara would love for it to be more. Levi has never thought of her that way until it is brought to his attention and now, she is all he thinks about.

Tara has loved Levi for as long as she can remember, but her sister is Joey's mom and she didn't want to mess up anything for Joey if her sister decided that she wanted to be a mom and come back home. When Levi and Tara realize that they both have feelings for each other, the fireworks light up the skies like it's the Fourth of July. Their chemistry is off the charts and when Joey finds out, she is even happier. Is there a happily ever after for these three who deserve so much more?

I love this author, and her stories of Silver Island make me want to move there. Each story is of a different couple, and you still get all of the friends and families, which makes it even better. This one is filled with past hurt, pain, teen crushes, love, best friends, and forever families. Everything to make a story great.

This is the fourth book in this particular series but as any fan of Melissa Foster knows, all her books are interlinked and it is like re-entering a familiar world full of wonderful friends and people across the country who have connections which make them close, even if far away. I recommend them all to you!

Here we finally see Levi and Joey get their happily ever after with the one person who has been there all along – Tara. Both Levi and Tara were done a great wrong by her sister, Amelia, but finally there is a hope that they will be able to move beyond the difficult past and enjoy the family that they have been building for years.

There are obviously a few stumbling blocks and internal worries that cause them both to be concerned, but in the end, the love of their friends and each other gives them the courage and the strength to go for what they want, whatever the complications.

Another delicious installment in the Steeles of Silver Island series!

Indi tries to stay away from Archer, but she finds him wanting to help her succeed and she helps him deal with his past. Can they make a relationship work?

I love this author's writing style and the series makes me want to move to Silver Island (except for wintertime). This series is filled with past demons, heartache, family loyalty, family fun, sizzling heat, heart, and love meant to be. This is a go-to author for me and I am never disappointed.


Ruthie – ☆☆☆☆☆
This is the third book in this series, but as any Melissa Foster fan will know, her books are all interlinked and we meet old friends along the way and make new ones ready for their own adventure. Interestingly, in this one we find out the information (you may need a tissue at this stage) which starts of the Silver Harbor series – which I also highly recommend.

Archer has absolutely no interest in settling down, so spending time with Indi when she comes to visit the island suits him fine. However, when she pulls away because she is moving there, she causes his brain, body, and heart to find themselves at odds with each other. So we just know how much fun we are going to have watching him fight all those feelings. We also know how hard he is going to have to work to make it clear that he is serious about the change of status that he is planning, when he finally works it out himself.

I have loved Indi's free spirit and intensity from first meeting her. She is a huge success, and has a glamour-filled lifestyle, yet craves some form of recognition from her parents. Seeing how Archer's family gives love freely to all the siblings, whatever they may do, makes her even more aware of what she missed out on. When Archer realises this, he is truly shocked at how she is treated, making us all love him that little bit more!

As always, this book is full of our favourite characters, interfering as they do best, loving, sharing, advising, and supporting. Totally immersive, engaging, and happiness-inducing reading. Thank you, Melissa Foster, and I can't wait to see what you create next!

Wow, this story will come at you from every direction and get you in the feels, one way or the other.

Grant is a survivor, he spent years fighting for his country until the unthinkable happened. Now he is back home on Silver Island and trying to live each day without hating everyone and everything.

Jules is a survivor, a cancer survivor, and knows that there may not be any more tomorrows. So she lives each day to the fullest and is thankful for each one she gets to share with family and friends.

Jules remembers Grant as a person charming and full of life and she will not let him throw away the second chance he was given, even if he is missing a leg. As they spend time together, he begins to see that there is something about her that makes him want to be close to her always. As their feelings grow for each other, he is seeing that things might not be so bad on Silver Island after all, as long as Jules is by his side.

Can Grant give living life on Silver Island a chance? Will Jules make him see that life is worth living if you have family and friends? What happens with Jules and Grant if his team calls him back?

I love Melissa Foster's books, she has a way of drawing you into a story as if you are part of it and part of the families. I highly recommend any of her books, doesn't matter where you start, just read them. You will not be disappointed.

4.5 stars of fun and frolics combatting darkness!

This is the second book in this particular series, but rest assured that it has links to all of Melissa Foster's other novels, and you will meet up with old friends and see new connections forming along the way. I love how I can be re-engaged so quickly in the happy places which are always on offer.

I loved Jules' character and nature from the moment the book starts. She is utterly upbeat and does all she can to cheer up others with thoughtful gestures and kind words. But newly returned, and forever altered from war, Grant is a challenge. And for once, Jules finds that she really needs to succeed in making him happy, because she finds that her happiness is tied up with him. Thus starts a mission which means so much to her, and which Grant is fighting with all the will that he can. Not only is she his best friend's little sister, but she is far, far too good for him.

So much goodness in this story, I found myself willing them on through the difficult times and reaching for a tissue (I know to always have one close by for a Foster book!), and huge beaming smiles emerged as the whole thing took a turn for the very much better.

So if you need an excuse to escape from the every day and find yourself on an island watching two people find themselves and each other... this is just the place you need to be!

This may well be the first book of a new series but as any Foster fan knows, all the books have links and connections, and for me, are all the richer for it. In my mind I liken it to going to big family weddings, where you get to catch up on the news of families linked, but geographically dispersed. I absolutely love starting a new book and remembering all the connections and making new acquaintances. The really good news here is that there are plenty of Steele siblings who will be giving us lovely romantic stories for many books to come!

Any regular Foster reader will be so happy to finally see both Daphne and Jock get their happily ever after, and even more so that they do so together. Jock was Tegan's Uncle Harvey's carer for many years, and we know that he has some sad secret that has caused him to hide away from the world. He has now moved, in part, to be nearer to Daphne, because he is intrigued by the way he feels about her.

Daphne and her little girl, Hadley, have wonderful friends and a home at the resort, but as they are all paired up now and living their lives, she is starting to feel a bit left out. She is attracted to newcomer Jock, but he clearly has a problem with Hadley, and she has to put her daughter first. As they get to know each other better, there is a barrier which needs overcoming before there can be a romantic relationship between them.

I loved watching this story play out. It was beautifully paced, and the love between them is so clear, even if there are issues which need resolving. There was some really lovely humour and some of the family times are really amusing.

Not going to say more, you need to get your copy and enjoy it for yourself. I promise it will be worth your time.

Here is another couple to fall in love with from author Melissa Foster, she has a way of finding the broken hearted people and bringing them the happily ever after they deserve.

Daphne is trying to rebuild her life for her daughter and herself after the divorce. She is not looking for another husband. Finding new friends is one thing but when she sees Jock, feelings begin to come alive.

Jock is trying to live his life without the memories of losing his girlfriend and baby. But each time a toddler gets close to him, he runs the other way. That is, until Daphne and her daughter work their magic and show him how to let the past go and live for a future with them.

This story is filled with pain and heartbreak that brings three people together with a love to last forever. You will laugh, cry, and be happy that you read this story. And I cannot wait to read more in this series.
