This is the fourth book in this series, but you do not need to read the previous ones to enjoy this.

Bryn is wondering about her love life. With the encouragement of her friends, she allows herself a fantasy week. Her fantasy is having two men.

Den and Mike have shared women in the past, but there is something about Bryn that calls to Den. Despite knowing Bryn's erotic fantasy, Den wants Bryn to himself. Bryn knows to be somewhat wary, given her track record, however, she can't help but fall for Den during the week.

This, again, wasn't terribly realistic as far as first encounters go, however, they all had chemistry and played the fantasy out. I liked how the story built and wished that it were a tad longer.

Josh knows what he doesn't want. He doesn't want to die young like his dad. He wants someone to come home to, to love and cherish. But with his pesky brothers hounding him, Josh knows he has to get out soon or drown.

When Josh and Sydney meet, there is instant chemistry. They play for a few nights and when their time is up, both think this is the end. However, fate had something else in store for them.

I wish this book had a more realistic first encounter. There is no way that a seasoned dom would play as hard as they did that first night. While their tryst was hot, it was not very realistic in my mind. However, I did like that they liked more than just the physical aspect of their attraction. Their minds melded as well. I wanted more from the story post-sexual encounter. I thought that they would have a great, longer story and really enjoyed where this one went, despite the short length.

That was one HOT SMOKIN' short story! Fan me quick cuz I’m on fire! This novella started out strong and never let up with the action! Derrick is Andi's boss, but he's been watching her since her first day when she bumped into him. He's been super impressed at her job dedication and work ethic. Seeing her in the BDSM club was his dream come true. Snagging Andi before another dom could sweep her up, Derrick shows her his take charge charm and Andi is hoping she can submit (to her BOSS!) and remain respected at work. These two fling sparks all over the pages and left my Kindle smoking in my hands. All kinds of sexy partner mix-ups and match-ups happen during their weekend games and Andi is in over her head, but Derrick might be in over his heart. Sweet ending pulled it together nicely! Get some private time alone for this read!

I really enjoyed this story about Chessie and Nick and how they each loved each other during the course of their tenure of working together. The long, slow tease made the reality of being together much better in the long run.

Chessie's self-doubt about loving a man such as Nick is something all females can relate to, and when Nick stands up for Chessie, every woman wishes for a man just like him.

This is an interesting mix of an old mystery, a criminal with an ongoing mission, and a blossoming romance.

I was tempted by the promise of BDSM, although I'm not sure that it really played out that way. Nonetheless I enjoyed the story and the snippets of D/s were entertaining rather than life changing. The pace was good, the plot lines a little fantastical, but held together well enough for me to stay up very late, as I wanted to know how it ended. I shall look out with interest for future books by Ms. Smith, as more books in the series are promised.
