This is the last book in the Second Chance series, and I found that I liked it, but it was not my favorite. It started out a little slow and it got better as it went along.

What happens when two brothers are in love with one girl? Usually someone gets hurt in the end. Paige and Cade are best friends, but Paige has been in love with Cade's brother, Adrian, for as long as she can remember. The brothers take a vow to not pursue Paige. But years later, Paige and Adrian have a lengthy affair that ends up destroying the brothers and shoving Paige away from them both.

Now it is the present and Adrian needs help and Paige is the perfect person to help him. Can these two make a professional relationship work? Will they give a personal relationship another try? Are there still sparks between them?

As I said, this book was good, with lots of steam, friends, betrayal, loss, love, family, and forgiveness. So grab it and enjoy, and don't forget the rest of the series.

Second Chance Mine is the sixth and final book in the Second Chance series. It can be read as a standalone without issue.

Adrian and Cade are brothers. Cade and Paige are best friends, but Adrian and Paige have been running around an attraction they both share for each other. When they do finally get together it doesn't end well, causing Paige to lose Cade as a friend. Ten years later, Paige never expected to see Adrian again much less work for him, but here they are. Can they keep it professional? Or will the attraction that's never gone away blow up in their faces?

I found Second Chance Mine dialed back compared to the others in this series. The emotions were running this storyline more so than the sexy factor. I enjoyed the suspense sprinkled in, it had me flying through the pages to find out what happens.

I can't wait for the next series!

I love to read second-chance romances and when the couple are rivals, it seems to make the story better. Once I started reading, I didn't want to stop. I was pulled in from the first page, wondering why Tristian and Belle's grandparents would make them get married when their families were rivals and have been for many years.

Learning what Tristian and Belle go through from the time they met back in high school until the present day is what makes this story great. Getting a second chance with your first love is something most never get, but Belle is the lucky one in this story.

Author M. Robinson is known for the angst in her stories, but this series has so much, it is a rollercoaster ride of emotions and will leave you feeling happy you read this one. So sit back and enjoy!

Second Chance Rival is the fifth installment in the Second Chance series. It can be read as a standalone without issue.

Belle and Tristian come from very prominent rival families. Their grandfathers are enemies. When Belle and Tristian meet in high school, they can’t stop the attraction between them. They ultimately fall in love, but it’s a love that can’t last due to their families’ rivalry.

Twenty years later, Tristian walks back into Belle’s life and asks her to marry him. It’s a deal set up by their grandfathers but it’s a second chance for Tristian to be with the one girl he’s ever loved.

I loved seeing then and now chapters to get a better understanding of what happened in their past and why things were like they were between them. Tristian is very confident he can make Belle his. Belle’s scared of the past repeating itself and her being left again. There is explosive chemistry when Belle lets her guard down. It’s an emotional game of back and forth and I loved every minute of it! I love a good second-chance romance troupe and M. Robinson is killing it with this series!

I can’t wait to see what’s next for Paige and Adrian!!

I was a little upset with this story and the way things were going. How Caleb was treating Evie, but he kept coming back to her. Each time she tried to move on, Caleb was there, whether for her brother or her own protection, Caleb was there bringing back the feelings between them. After years of this behavior, both Evie and Caleb get the shocker of their lives.

This story is one that is filled with angst, pain, heartbreak, and love. You will want to throw your Kindle on this rollercoaster ride, there are so many highs and lows that your head will be spinning. In the end, you will fall in love with Evie and Caleb, all they go through to be together was worth the pain it took to get there.

I love this author, and her writing is well known for the angst in her stories that make them heartbreakingly good. So sit back and enjoy the ride.

Second Chance Love is the fourth installment in the Second Chance series. They can all be read as standalones without issue.

I hated Caleb. There, I said it.

Every time Evie was trying to move on, he was right there reminding her how she felt about him without even saying anything.

Evie falls for the older guy at the frat party and something about Evie has Caleb thinking maybe he could have it all. Until the next day, when they realize all they could have was that one night because neither of them wanted to betray her brother or his best friend, Jax.

When Jax unknowingly keeps throwing them together again and again, it's almost too much for both of them to bear until Caleb commits the ultimate betrayal. Caleb's waited eight years to explain the past to Evie, but hating Caleb is all she knows now.

I had a huge love/hate relationship with Caleb. I hated him in the beginning, but he did end up redeeming himself for me by the end. This was a complete emotional rollercoaster of a read. The angst and chemistry were off the charts!

I can't wait to see what's next with Tristian and Belle!

I have to confess that it was the Jack Sparrow look alike on the cover that got my attention, but the romance between Rhain and Alistair was a fun, sexy read. The premise is simple: Rhain and his sister book passage on Alistair’s ship as they travel to their family’s plantation in Dominica. Along the way, attraction grows between the sea captain and the gentleman.

This is fun story with more romance than swashbuckling. I enjoyed the historic details about Alastair’s ship and his crew and I also enjoyed the secondary relationship that develops between Rhain’s sister and Alistair’s first mate.

I’m not sure if some of the sex scenes are intentionally comical, but I found myself laughing out loud at a few brilliant descriptions. There are some very steamy scenes in this story and I thoroughly enjoyed the heat between Rhain and Alistair.

This book has a playful self-awareness. The story doesn’t win any plausibility prizes, but I thoroughly enjoyed Rhain and Alistair’s adventures as they cross the Atlantic on Alistair’s ship.
