Bound Together is the second installment in the Torn and Bound duet. It cannot be read as a standalone. You have to read Torn Apart before you read Bound Together to get the full impact of the duet.

Bound Together picks up where Torn Apart left us. There isn't much I can post without ruining this read, so I am choosing to be very vague in this review.

Bound Together is everything I needed it to be. The angst was high, but it was so worth riding that emotional rollercoaster to get to the end. I was so invested in these characters. I laughed, I cried, I sat on the edge of my seat, but these authors brought their A-game to this duet. This duet is so worth the read!! Highly recommend!


Mary – ☆☆☆☆☆
This is the conclusion of the Torn and Bound duet and it picks up where book one left off. It continues with a slow burn and builds a fire the simmers and smolders throughout the entire duet. But in this part, the flames grow bigger and you wonder who is going to get burned.

I do not want to give any part of this story away, but I will say that you have to read book one to understand this book. It is worth it, so please read it and you will not be disappointed. This author duo has become one of my favorites that I do not have to read any blurb about an upcoming book, it is an automatic yes for me.

So grab something to drink, a blanket, get in a comfortable place, and enjoy this awesomeness. It is worth the emotional rollercoaster ride and in the end, you will want to ride it over and over.

Torn Apart is the first installment in the duet series Torn and Bound.

Instantly, you are sucked into the dynamic of this story. There is Ashton, who is one hundred percent gay. He has never questioned that fact until one kiss with his best friend, Mia, has him questioning everything. Mia, who is in love with Ashton but knows nothing could ever come of it. Then we have Drew, who is the sexy ex-NHL hockey player turned college hockey coach, who has a history with Mia and baggage with the cocky captain Brayden. Lastly, there is Brayden. He is a beast on the ice and holds some serious resentment toward Drew for actions in the past. Brayden is dating Mia while defending Ashton and questioning the truce with Drew. The one common dominator in all of their relationships, there is a piece of all of them that want the others.

Their lives all entwine and you can feel the tension seeping out of the pages, whether it's sexual or anger. I found myself rooting for different couplings to happen and can't wait to get the ending to see if the one big mmfm moment actually happens. You get a little taboo and a whole lotta sexy in this one. Book two cannot come out fast enough!!

I didn't know what to expect in this story because I didn't even read the blurb before accepting this copy. I knew I wanted to read it even without reading it – I always want to read books from K. Webster and Nikki Ash. Their stories are great and sometimes make you think. And this one was a rollercoaster ride of what is going on and who is going to end up with whom.

Ashton and Mia are best friends, he is gay and she is in love with him or so she thinks. Brayden wants Mia and Ashton wants Brayden. And then there is Drew, he meets Mia while she is out with the girls and he turns out to be the new hockey coach. And Ashton's father, the dean of the college, has him staying with Ashton. Brayden and Drew grew up together and had a falling out and haven't spoken in a few years.

So now the four of them are together and you will not believe what is going to happen. My mind is still reeling. I need book two NOW!!!! If you are looking for a story that is a little out of your comfort level and on the taboo side, then you need to read this one. I love this author duo and cannot wait for more from them.

Avid Reader – ☆☆☆☆☆
M/F Dark Mafia Romance

This is the second in the series and they do have to be read in order.

Kostas is lost. He is not quite sure how to handle his life right now. It will take everything he has to find his way through and be the ruthless mafia man he is.

Talia is living only to survive. She has grown into her role as a mafia wife and you'll see a side of her that you didn't know existed. Talia makes you proud, and also, at times, cringe with her ability to take on her role so well.

This is a fantastic conclusion to their story. I loved how they still complemented each other and that they saw the best in each other. You'll cheer them on and revel in their successes.


Mary – ☆☆☆☆☆
I could not wait for this one to hit my Kindle. I thought the first book was awesome but this one was so much more. It was an intense rollercoaster ride filled with intrigue, suspense, betrayal, violence, passion, and love.

Be prepared to be pulled in from the beginning and hang on for the ride because you will not want to put this story down until the end. I highly recommend reading the first book, you do not want to miss a second of Kostas and Talia's story.

This review is short and sweet because I do not want to spoil it for anyone, you have to read it for yourself. I hope you love it as much as I did.

If you haven't read anything from K. Webster and Nikki Ash before, then you should and start with this duet. They are awesome together and can weave a story like no other.

Stolen Lies is the conclusion of the Truths and Lies duet. Hidden Lies should be read first to completely understand the series.

Stolen Lies picks up on the cliffhanger where Hidden Lies left us. Talia is missing and Kostas is beside himself looking for her. Yes, their relationship started as an arrangement, but it developed into so much more. Will Kostas get his vengeance when he finds out where she's been? Will Talia want to be with him in the end?

Stolen Lies is such a fantastic conclusion. It kept me on the edge of my seat, locked in suspense. There is so much violence, so many secrets, lies, and truths revealed it will have your head spinning. I adored this duet. It was written perfectly. Webster and Ash outdid themselves!!

M/F Mafia Dark Romance

Whew! This book will suck you right in. It's dark, twisted, and while there are some parts that made my stomach hurt, it's very well done. This isn't for someone who is easily offended or someone who may be sensitive to consent, but if you can handle those things, you'll absolutely enjoy this dark romance.

Kostas Demetriou is the son of a mobster. He is next in line to take over the business and when a family rival comes to the table empty handed, the Demetriou clan will do what it takes to make sure that an example is made. Kostas is a hard man. He has grown up being groomed to take over and even though his father is sometimes allowing him to make the calls, Kostas knows that when his father says what's happening, that becomes law.

Talia Nikolaides is your typical college student. She goes to class, has a boyfriend, and goes to parties. She comes from a home where her parents are divorced. She has lived with her mom and her stepdad for a while now. She is also close with her brother and her grandparents. But when she is summoned to her dad's, Talia knows it can only lead to bad things. What she isn't expecting it to be collateral damage.

Watching Talia and Kostas is sometimes infuriating and sometimes incredibly hot. There are so many family members involved in this story and making sure you know what role they each play is key to understanding the dynamics. It's well planned, developed at a great pace, and I absolutely LOVED the story.

This is the first book in the series and the pages just flipped by. I can't wait to see what happens in the next installment, because when this one ended, I actually yelled at my Kindle. Pick this up and you won't be disappointed.

There are several triggers involving mafia life. If you're sensitive, this might not be the book for you.

I knew when I saw that K. Webster had a new duet coming out that I HAD to read it. Along with author Nikki Ash, this is a story that will have your head spinning but leave you wanting more.

Talia is in college, living a carefree life and about to go to America with her boyfriend. Then her brother arrives to take her back to see their father. She doesn't know why or what is going on and her brother doesn't know either or will not tell her.

Kostas family is part of the mafia and they basically own the island of Crete. No one messes with them or their family. He is perceived as a monster. He wants people he has to deal with to see him that way too. So they will be very afraid of him and will not try to cross him.

But when Talia's father crosses Kostas’ family, it is Talia who has to pay the debt. While Kostas' father doesn't tell him why he holds a grudge against her father, he doesn't see it as a hardship to marry her. She is beautiful after all.

Will Talia and Kostas get married and live happily ever after? Will they learn the real reason his father hates her father? Will Talia be able to finish her last year of college? Are there any enemies of Kostas that will try to harm Talia?

This story is filled with suspense, action, intrigue, lust, sexiness, and is fast paced until the cliffhanger ending. So, sit back and enjoy the rollercoaster ride that authors K. Webster and Nikki Ash have started and it is wide open. I cannot wait for book two.

I am a huge fan of mob books and Webster and Ash don't disappoint with Hidden Truths.

I am in love with this story. A modern take on a classic story. The story of the love between Catrina and Heath, their decisions, and how it paves the way for future generations.

Catrina's father takes in Heath as a child. Heath is the golden child, learning everything he could about the business. He intends to take over one day but before that can happen, her father dies. His will was never changed and the only way for Catrina to gain access to her fortune is to marry Elliott. She has no love for Elliott, but she can't walk away from the money even though she loves Heath with every fiber of her being. Their love is intense and strong. They are explosive when they come together. Their love is the type of love that is all consuming and will destroy them if they let it.

Heath loses the love of his life and is set on revenge. It's what drives him, pushes him for more. When he meets his long-lost son and the daughter of his lost love and Elliott, seventeen years later, he's still determined to make Elliott pay. Using Theo and Cat as pawns in his game of revenge.

I have never read Wuthering Heights, but I absolutely loved this version of love lost and the power of that love to destroy you if you let it. I love that the story was told by Helen, who was there for each generation. Very well done. A little taboo and I couldn't put it down!

Heath was on the streets until a man came along and rescued him and raised him as one of his own. He even showed him all about his business and talked about Heath taking over when he finished college and the man was ready to retire. Heath was so happy. He fell in love with the man's daughter when he first saw her, and they were always talking about living a happy life together.

Catrina has always lived the pampered life. Her father has always given her everything she has ever wanted. When he brought home the boy from the streets, she didn't know that she would fall in love with him. But slowly she found that her feelings for Heath began to bloom into so much more.

As Heath and Catrina grew, so did their love for each other. But when her father dies unexpectedly, their lives changed for the worst. And the chain of events that happened are told by several others.

Will Heath and Catrina find their way back to each other? Can the pain and heartache ever be repaired?

I loved and hated this story so much. Loved the love that Heath and Catrina shared and hated the heartache and pain that everyone went through. Sometimes you have to go through pain and heartache to get to a happily ever after and it makes you wonder if it is really worth it.

If you haven't read anything from K. Webster or Nikki Ash, you NEED to read this one, this is a first for me from Nikki Ash and I look forward to reading more from her. I will read anything from K. Webster, even her shopping list, she is that good. But I recommend having a box of tissues close by when you read this one, you will need them, so enjoy the tears because you will shed them for Heath.
