“Scared?” He asks, his voice so deep that it shakes me to the core.

“Not at all,” I manage to breathe out.

Another laugh. “Liar.”

He’s not wrong. That’s exactly what I am.

Shane isn’t scared, though.

Not when he rolls me to my back, his body weight trapping me in place as he releases my hair to push up on his elbows.

Taking a long slow look down my body, he shakes his head. “Gotta get you out of those baggy clothes.”

His eyes meet mine, that ocean color churning and waves pounding. “And burn them.”

I open my mouth to laugh, but he steals it with another violent kiss, his tongue sweeping out to capture mine, his chest dropping down against me as he pulls my arms above my head to trap me in place.

Releasing the kiss, he sighs.

“Brin, are you sure about—”

“Don’t,” I demand, cutting him off. “Don’t ruin it. You want to show me what it means to live? Then skip the bullshit of making sure I’m okay and just simply show me..."

Heresy is the fourth installment in the Antihero Inferno series. It CANNOT be read as a standalone and must be read in the order the author intended. I highly suggest going back and reading the series from the beginning (at least read the end of Violence to refresh your memory).

Heresy is Shane's story. Shane Carter is arrogant, impulsive, manipulative, and does exactly what he wants. When he meets his match with Brinley, the chemistry is chart topping. I loved everything about Heresy. Lily White is back and better than ever with this one. She had to keep us waiting but she did not disappoint when she brought us back into this world of chaos.

I cannot stress enough to read what's before this one or you will not get the full effect of this series. I am so excited for what's next!!

Heresy, book four in the Antihero Inferno series by Lily White, exceeded my expectations!

I love this series, but have my favorites and am adding Shane's book to that list. Shane will do anything that needs to be done. He may not employ "traditional" methods, but he always finds a way. He wasn't what I expected, and I can't fathom why I expected so little from him. I adore Brinley. She's true to herself and never compromises her beliefs! Together, though, these guys are FIRE!

If you've read the previous three books, you NEED this now. If you have yet to start, then I highly suggest you see to that immediately.

I cannot wait to see what's really going on...

I honestly should have re-read the previous books; it's been awhile but once I got back in the groove, this book flew! This is Shane and Brinley’s story and what a story it was. This author has a way of pulling you in from page one and you find yourself furiously turning the pages to see what's next. This book did not disappoint! Sexy, alluring, and full of chaos. This book has it all and you will enjoy it just as much as the previous books and you'll be wanting more of these nine men!

Ezra was everything I wanted and needed. The most damaged and broken hit my soul the hardest.

Ezra is a twin. Older than Damon by fifteen minutes, not that it matters but he loves to throw it in Damon's face. He keeps his emotions well hidden, the chaos and the pain, the violence and the anger, all buried deep until he can't keep them inside any longer and usually someone is the target of that pain. When Ezra sets his sights on Emily, she becomes his obsession. He wants her to show him that fire she has inside and that calm she brings to him. When Damon and Ezra both fall for Emily, the only thing she can do is walk away.

With ten years and just as many secrets still between them, can they see each other and not feel that pull, that spark that brings the inferno between them? Emily has always been Ezra's calm, the holder of his leash. Can she let him and his chaos back into her life without fear of a broken heart?

This is by far my favorite Inferno boy. The emotional rollercoaster was everything, I held on tight and loved the ride Lily White took me on. I can't wait to see what secrets are reveled with Shane!

Holy crap on a cracker!!!!

I devoured this book in one sitting. The romance was intoxicating. The angsty push and pull was on point and I loved the anger. These two were toxic together but couldn't stay apart. I loved and hated this book. We didn't really find out what the secrets were, only snippets and I felt like I still didn't know everything. I hope we find out more in the next book or in Damon's book. I NEED TO KNOW!!!!

I'm going to be honest, I was really looking forward to this story – Ezra is an interesting character with a lot of mystery surrounding him and his twin, Damon. Violence refers to Ezra's Inferno persona. He is a man of actions, more than words, and he is capable of feeling deeply.

Then there's Emily, who has been promised to another man (parent arranged) since a very young age. She's never been given the opportunity to fall in love, as she's marrying a man that isn't very keen on this arrangement.

Together, these two are explosive and that was my favorite part of all. When they come together the sparks fly off of the pages. The push and pull was felt.

Unfortunately though, I didn't really enjoy the rest of the book. I appreciated seeing glimpses of Ezra and Damon while in high school, but I don't feel like the story was enhanced by it. I understand why, but I didn't like the way Emily was treated. I was waiting for the series storyline to be furthered, but that didn't really happen either.

I am invested in this series, but this wasn't my favorite book.

This series NEEDS to be read in order, and I highly suggest starting that now if you haven't already!

The Antihero Inferno series has blown my mind, and I'm in love with each member – male and female – that I've read about so far.

I'm not going to get into what the Inferno is, but it is an interestingly dark group. I'm not going to regurgitate what happened in the first book, but I will say that I was left wanting Fraud's story!

Gabriel Dane, also known as Fraud, is the ultimate liar. He can draw you in and play any character that he needs to in order to get what he wants/needs. Fraud is the broken prince, the second in the Inferno hierarchy, and he knows how to extract anything from anyone. He met his match in Ivy way back in high-school, and she quickly became his nemesis.

Ivy is the pampered rich girl, the spoiled princess, and daughter of an elected politician. Ivy also made enemies of Fraud at a young age. No wilting flower, she doesn't fear Fraud as she should and instead gives it right back to him.

The dynamic between Fraud and Ivy was exciting from the get go. Learning of their past was interesting, their pranks on each other were awesome. Their banter was funny and sarcastic and always entertaining. This could be labeled as an enemies-to-lovers romance, but it's much more than that.

These characters are all well developed, they have their faults and their strengths. The more I learn about the Inferno, the more I need! This book goes beyond the romance, and that is what I absolutely love: the intrigue, the scandal, the underlying mystery. There weren’t any boring moments, and I need to know what happens next. So many questions needs answers!


Shannan – ☆☆☆☆
Fraud is the second book in Antihero Inferno series. It picks up where Treachery left off. It cannot be read as a standalone. It should be read in the order that the author intended.

Gabriel Dane has a perfect smile, one you can't trust, he's an accomplished liar. Ivy has a history with the Inferno; one favor done and the Inferno has come to collect their payment. The witty war between these two was everything. I loved it. Laugh out loud antics and watching it happen is so worth it. A definite must read


Angie – ☆☆☆
This series is about nine different guys. This book is about Gabriel aka Fraud. Honestly, I liked Gabriel in the previous book but not so much in this one. I did love Ivy, she was awesome! She gave as good as she got. This book is enemies-to-lovers that really was just that. Ivy and Gabriel had passion and pranks, and totally fit the prince and princess titles.

Treachery, The Ninth Circle – Tanner Caine

When Luca Bailey left Yale so abruptly three years ago, she thought her days of being in the crosshairs of Tanner and the Inferno were over. When he unexpectedly shows up in her life again, she knows the game hasn't changed, but it's just been on hold.

Tanner is a decision maker, he calls the shots for the Inferno. They have been doing their fathers' bidding since they were children. They want their lives back and to do that they need to destroy their fathers. The one thing that will destroy them is whatever is on Luca's father's servers from his failed business. Tanner knows if they can get them before their fathers do, the games will stop.

Luca has always held Tanner's attention. She has never done what was asked of her without a fight and this is going to be no different. She's the only woman that can frustrate Tanner Caine beyond measure.

Treachery is a lighter version of Lily White, but oh so heavy on the mind games, which makes for a delicious read. Luca and Tanner's chemistry is combustible and undeniable. The back and forth banter is amazing and makes this read so worth it.

I am so excited that Gabe's book is next!!

This sounds like an irresistibly naughty series, and this book was absolutely that! Welcome to the Inferno – a secret group of men who use manipulation and mind games to get what they want.

Tanner "Treachery" Caine is the leader of the group and is absolutely ruthless. Raised as a pawn to be used by his father, he's never known poverty or love. He's just a means to an end, as are all the Inferno boys. Tanner gets things done, and he gets what he wants. He's not used to people standing up to him... until he meets his match in Luca. She was just supposed to be a target – a mission to conquer.

Luca is the complete opposite of Treachery in every way. She's compassionate, loving, persistent, and goal driven. She believes herself to be cursed, with good reason, and is still able to live her life to the fullest. Unfortunately, life has thrown her some serious curve balls, and we start this story at the beginning of her divorce.

Overall this book was on the light side of my Lily White's darkness spectrum. There are dark aspects, such as the actions of the Inferno Boys, but it isn't depraved. It's more of a mind-game darkness. The enemies-to-lovers story wasn't obnoxious, and I did enjoy it (not often that I do), their chemistry was off the charts! I loved the complexity of the story, there are little bits here and there that added together, while other bits go unanswered. I am excited to delve more into the world of these men, but I especially liked Gabriel and want to read his story ASAP.

This story is mostly focused on Luca and Tanner, but it is also building the world of Inferno up. I loved the pull and push with Luca and Tanner and their banter back and forth was great. Smoking hot chemistry. There were twists and turns in this book and it kept you on your toes. I can't wait to see what happens next since not everything was answered in this book.

Clearing my throat, I whisper, “I’m a married woman.”

I love a good stalker and Lily White delivered with Ari. He is everything I wanted and needed him to be.

I need to be the fire that roars to life inside her, need to be the shadow that she reaches for every time she closes her eyes.

Ari is a contract killer. He kills for a living – that's his job. Once the job is over, he never thinks about it again. He never feels guilt, it is what it is expected when he kills Adeline's father. He didn't know she was in the house; she wasn't supposed to be there. When he sees her come running to her father's office, something inside Ari shifts. He watches Adeline for years. He looks out for her when she fails to look out for herself. He stays hidden, always in the shadows until he can't any longer and Adeline's truth is revealed.

It's never the dangers that lurk in the shadows that you have to worry about, it's the ones you know. The people that can turn your world upside down without any effort at all. The terrifying monsters that sneak up when you least expect it to steal your heart and drive you insane.

I'm usually not one for highlighting lines in a book, but this one had me highlighting constantly. I loved everything about this stalker romance. And let's talk about Lincoln, Ari's best friend and Adeline's babysitter when Ari can't be there. He needs his own book in the worst way!!

If you love a good stalker, this is the book for you. It will check every book you need it to. Sexy, seductive, and just so damn good.

I hardly ever read F/M books anymore, but I have and always will read books by Lily White no matter what genre. Anything this author writes gives me the feels. Scary, thrilling, amazing, crazy, psychotic, and warped feelings, but feelings none the less. I was sucked in at the beginning and spit out at the end. Ari and Adeline have a connection that is dark and intense, but you can feel it and live it in this book. I don't want to give anything away because you have to read the book to understand the love I have for it. The author has a way of making me see the other side of things; does it make me twisted just like the characters? Probably, but damn, this book was good!

The Danger You Know was another seriously entertaining read written by my favorite author of the year: Lily White! She has been on absolute FIRE and this was just perfect.

When I think of Lily White books, I usually think of dark reads. This is on the dark spectrum, but definitely a bit lighter – more of a gray, than black.

Ari is not a hero in any sense of the word, but he isn't really the villain either. This leaves us in a strange place, not able to truly categorize his character. I can say that he may be the dark horse, but damn did I fall in love with him. How many people can say they've ever received someone’s full attention, at all times? Can you say you've kept someone's attention, from afar, for a decade? I can't. I also can't say stalking should be considered sexy... until it's Ari doing it.

Adeline also wormed her way into my psyche. I can't stop thinking about her and her mental complexities. She is free spirited, even with the crap her life threw her. The poor girl has had some seriously heinous things befall her. In an attempt to rise above her place, she does the one thing she's "supposed" to... she settles.

This story was exciting, slightly creepy, but always entertaining. I loved all the characters (shout out to Lincoln) and the scenes, I loved the chemistry between Ari and Adeline, and I LOVED the resolution to their "little" problem. Thank you, Lily White, for another perfect escape from my mundane life!

Growing up, Lisbeth treated Callan like dirt. He was the servant’s son and she treated him like he was. Lisbeth made Callan the butt of her jokes with her friends, he was laughed at, made to look like a fool. When her father was killed, she was taken away by her mother that same night. Held safe, her mother said. For ten years she was gone, in that time Callan was adopted by her uncle, now bearing the Rose name. He was now the head of the family. The family he was once the servant’s son.

All Callan cared about was fighting in the pit. He was the best of the best. He had to be when you fought to the death. All the anger and hate he carried over the years from Lisbeth and her treatment helped him be who he was.

Lily White has been on fire with releases lately. The Vanity of Roses does not disappoint. It is everything I needed. It's dark and violent, sexy and suspenseful. My only complaint is it wasn't longer. I could have read so much more about Callan and Lisbeth!

Lily White is on FIRE! She is now my go-to, dark, sinfully suspenseful author. If she writes it, I will read it. Some books may be too dark for me, but I know they will always pull through to end on an amazing note. The Vanity of Roses was no exception.

When Lisbeth Rose comes home to the Rose family Estate, she has no idea what's waiting for her inside. She has no idea who is leading the "family." She has no idea that she is in for the ultimate penance. She does know that she's changed from the spoiled little girl she was.

Callan has never had an easy life. The son of the maid to the Rose Estate, he was the personal servant of Miss Lisbeth. He was always told his place was to be seen and not heard... not allowed to speak to Lisbeth, and severely punished if any rule was broken.

When the secrets are uncovered, when the truth comes out, who will be left standing?

This story was fantastic! I loved the depravity and darkness. I loved the characters – all of them as they each added to the story. I could feel the chemistry between Callan and Lisbeth, and the slow build almost killed me. I kept guessing at the questions, never concocting the right answers.
This will definitely go on my re-read shelf!


Ruthie – ☆☆☆☆
Be warned this is dark – really, what else would you expect from the very talented (and seemingly sadistic) Lily White. It takes a long journey to the point where the secrets start to flow, but there is plenty to keep up the tension and shock along the way.

Initially we hear Callan's voice, and his take on what happened a decade ago – it is shocking, and undoubtedly makes him the sympathetic character from the start. Lisbeth has some lessons to learn when she returns to the family mansion, and Callan is definitely the one to give them to her. Some of them do tarnish the shine on that sympathy you had, and dark, cruel limits will probably be met, but I did find it impossible not to read on.

I don't read this type of book very often, as although I enjoy the outcome, it undoubtedly makes me feel uncomfortable along the way – but I am always fascinated at how the author can manipulate my emotions so effectively, keeping me believing that there is enough love hidden behind all the darkness to keep reading!

This is was quite possibly the best prequel I have ever read!

Meet Luca, a Yale law student who is hellbent on getting through school without racking up a favor from the Inferno Boys. Seems easy enough, right?!? Maybe not when the world seems against her.

Tanner is the dark, sexy, dangerous problem that Luca needs to deal with. He is not a nice guy, he is not a loving man, what he is IS the Inferno boy named Treachery. These nine men live together, play together, and go a lot deeper than we know.

This story opened up the world of the Inferno Boys. I can't wait to get Treachery in my hands!

Sweet baby Jesus. I simply can't wait for this series! I don't read a lot of prequels but damn this one was good, and it made me mad I couldn't jump right into the first book. This series promises to be a thrilling ride. Get ready boys and girls, it's gonna be a good one!

Luca has been under their radar until she isn't. She unknowingly becomes the target of Tanner's attention. He's sexy and seductive. He's dark and intimidating, and I can't wait to get more of him.

This is the best prequel I have ever had the pleasure of reading. It did everything it was supposed to do, having me dying for the next installment! I can't wait for more of Luca and Tanner!
