What a fantastic final story in the series – but I am looking forward to meeting the Bad guys and their loves in new books from Ms. Foster.

This is the fourth book in the series, and whilst it could be read as a standalone, why would you deny yourself the goodness of all these lovely books. In fact, there are links through all Ms. Foster's books, so if you have read some of them, you may well find old friends pop up too. I am going to assume that you have read the previous three books in my review.

Brett is the last brother standing alone, and even after the revelations of Carson's book, he still believes that he is responsible for much of what destroyed his family. Therefore, he maintains that he should remain alone and not get the happiness which he cannot deserve. He has not denied himself pleasure, but never more than once. Unfortunately, since he met Sophie he can't raise any interest in anyone else, and she is not the one-night stand kind of woman. She works for his brother, Mick, which means that Brett is often around. But she will not be another name on his list. One of them has to give...

I loved how these two reconciled their viewpoints with their desires. It would have been easy for Sophie to weaken, but she never does. She is strong, supportive, and also soft and generous. And she needs to be as Brett is finally having to come to terms with all those feelings he has bottled up for so long. I did trust Ms. Foster would make everything work out, but there were a few tense moments!

The time that they spend with her family is absolutely fantastic. Thank goodness I didn't have a Nana... but what a great character! I also had this feeling that there are plenty of stories to tell with the new generation of friends and family that we meet – which is just the best news.

This is a perfect mix of funny, sexy, moving, and ultimately, a supremely positive story.

Welcome to the last of the Bad Brothers, this is Brett's story. And a good thing is that all of the brothers are in this story at some point.

Brett doesn't think he is cut out for love when he sees his brothers finding their women and falling head over heels in love. He thinks that love is not made for him. So, he sticks with different women and not the same one twice. He has been drawn to Sophie for as long as he can remember, but he just wants one time with her. So that he can get her out of his system.

Sophie works for Mick, Brett's older brother, and she is a relationship and forever kind of girl. Something Brett doesn't feel he can give her. Although Sophie has liked Brett for a while now, she doesn't feel she can give him one time and not lose her heart. She wants forever because that is what she saw growing up, her parents and grandparents have been in love forever. And Sophie will not settle for less.

Can Brett give her what she needs and learn to love her as she deserves? Will Sophie give in and lose her heart to Brett and have it broken in the end? Will Brett learn what love really is from being around Sophie and her family? Will his brothers help him see that his past wasn't his fault?

I loved these brothers and the women who loved them, and maybe a story in the future will show all the brothers, their wives and children gathering just so we can see how everyone is doing? If you haven't read anything from Melissa Foster, just pick one, most of the stories are tie-ins and can be read as standalone anyway. She is one of my go-to authors and I don't even have to know what the story is going to be about, I want to read it, it is a given. So, if you are looking for a really great story, with hot men and women who love them, check out this series. I hope you love it as much as I have.

M/F Romance

First off, I have loved each of these books that I have read – some were from Wicked Reads and others were on my own. While they don't necessarily have to be read in order or at all, I would strongly recommend them.

Brett is the "last man standing" of his brothers. Everyone else has found a partner in life and despite him feeling sometimes, jealous, he knows that he can't offer that to anyone. He likes his life and likes that he can bed any woman he wants – but he's also careful about whom he chooses. When he meets his brother's employee, all bets are off. She gets under his skin and parks it there.

Sophie is a strong woman who knows herself well. She knows that even though she is attracted to Brett, she can't have one-night stands and not become attached. Despite his persistence, Sophie stays fairly true to herself. I absolutely loved her family and their interactions – they had a hilarity that kept the story moving forward.

Sophie's ability to mold into what she knew Brett needed, whether it be sex kitten or an ear to listen, helped to form the chemistry and dynamic between Brett and herself throughout.

I really enjoyed watching this story unfold and can't wait for more!

Carson by Melissa Foster Blog Tour

Second chances really do exist...

As the founder of a multimillion-dollar international security business, Carson Bad exposes secrets for a living. He knows better than to forge relationships built on them. But for years he did just that with his best friend, and secret lover, Tawny Bishop. She brought a sense of calm and understanding to his life—in and out of the bedroom. Until one fateful night when a knock at the door changed everything.

Tawny is no longer a naive college student. She’s a sought-after perfumer living in Paris. She has plenty of resources at her fingertips, and lots of lonely nights to think about the only man she’s ever loved—the one she ran away from all those years ago. She needs to move forward with her life, but how can she when Carson still owns her heart?

Maybe showing up in the middle of the night unannounced isn’t the best route to unraveling the past and figuring out her future, but Tawny has played it safe for ten long years, and it's only made her long for the man she never should have walked away from. Now she's back in Carson’s life, and he’s determined not to make the same mistake twice. If only he knew what that mistake was…

With her heart in her throat, she lifted her gaze, and lost her breath at the sight of the strikingly handsome man who had once been her lover and best friend standing a few feet away with his brother, Brett. She’d met Brett once when he’d come to visit Carson at college.

Her attention moved swiftly back to Carson, and she was unable to look away. His white dress shirt was rolled up to his elbows, revealing muscular forearms, and tucked into perfectly tailored dark slacks. He was broader now, tall, and sturdy. A big, beautiful man with the classic good looks of a 1950s movie star. He raked a hand through his short hair, laughing at something Brett must have said. His familiar laughter made her knees weak.

Please look over.

No. Don’t.
Her heart might explode.

Wait. Yes, look over.

Oh God
.

What was she doing? She was a professional, educated woman. She should not be weak-kneed over the sight of a man. But apparently her body didn’t get the memo, because her pulse skyrocketed, and she could barely breathe. She gripped the handle of her suitcase tighter, using it for balance. Carson turned, his chiseled features softened by the hint of a five-o’clock shadow. Their eyes connected, and his brows knitted, his jaw tensed.

Disappointment clutched her. Didn’t he recognize her? Or did he? Was he angry? She should walk away, but she was pinned in place by his riveting gaze.

In the other books in the series, Carson Bad was the brother that never brought a date along, never picked up a girl at a bar, and didn't do relationships. He is the founder of the multimillion-dollar international security business and works with his brother Brett, who is the joker and playboy of the family. Carson does his job well but his heart belongs to the one that ran from him and her feelings 10 years ago.

Tawny Bishop is tired of running and tired of not being with the man she loves, who owns her heart and soul. After running from her feelings 10 years ago, she has realized that what they shared wasn't wrong, it was perfect for them. It didn't matter what others might have thought.

Now Tawny is back to see if Carson remembers her. She hasn't even thought that he might be married. But when he sees her, she thinks he is mad, but why would he be mad? Carson is blown away by the fact that his Tawny is standing right in front of him. And he will do everything to keep her this time. But she is only in town for a few days.

Can he make her see that they were meant to be together? Can she forgive herself for leaving him all those years ago? Will she leave him again and go back to Paris where she now lives?

I am loving these Bad brothers, although I think Mick is still my favorite, Carson is a close second. This story is perfect from the beginning and ends that way. It is sweet with past heartbreak and a love to last forever. If you haven't read Melissa Foster yet, then pick one, any one and you can't go wrong, she is awesome and I will read anything from her.

Avid Reader – ☆☆☆☆
This is the first book that I've read in this series, however, I didn't really feel that you needed to read the previous books in order to understand what was happening here.

This was a sweet second chance romance. Tawny and Carson have a past – it's full of love, friendship, and sweaty sex. They met in college and were instantly friends. However, something happened and after they had become more than that, Tawny ran and Carson never really developed relationships with anyone else.

When you see the past and the present mixed in a story, it's sometimes hard to keep them separated. They were different people and I really liked how you saw glimpses through their experiences.

Questioning what you desire became what Tawny ran from. She wanted safe and predictable and when she was with Carson, she felt out of control and unsteady. From Carson's perspective, he loved what he and Tawny had, but he also knew that he had a reputation and when there was a miscommunication, he lost Tawny for a long time.

Seeing these two come back together and the love they share and chemistry was a fun read. I hope to read more of these brothers and really liked how Foster told this story.

Ruthie – ☆☆☆☆☆
Once again Ms. Foster delivers a totally enchanting, wickedly sexy, and totally fulfilling read!

The third in the Bad Boys series, we now get to understand why Carson has been so closed off and reserved – his life has been in a holding pattern, but now that he is free to fly, well he is not letting Tawny get away again!

I loved the intensity, the honesty, and the guilt-free happiness of these two people, clearly destined to be together. Clever use of the past, of family, and of things that truly matter bring their romance and their passion into sharp definition for the reader – and yet there is enough left to the imagination to make it tantalising until the very end. Catching up with old friends from previous books is always an important part of these books, and gave Tabs the connections that she needed and had been missing.

Delicious from beginning to end – thank you again, Ms. Foster, for filling my head with such lovely words and friends!

Dylan by Melissa Foster Blog Tour

Everything's naughtier after dark...

Sinfully sexy bar owner Dylan Bad has a thing for needy women. He's a savior, a knight in shining armor, and his mighty talented sword has no trouble bringing damsels in distress to their knees. Enter Tiffany Winters, a gorgeous cutthroat sports agent who looks like sex on legs, f**ks like she's passion personified, and wouldn't let a man help her if she were dangling from a ledge and he was her only hope. One night and too much tequila might change their lives forever. The question is, will either one survive?

With her phone pressed to her ear, Tiffany Winters ducked out of the rain and into the Kiss, an eclectic Manhattan bar, to return calls and take care of a mountain of text messages that had piled up during her dinner meeting. She listened to her client’s wife explain why she didn’t want her husband traveling too often to endorse a hotel chain Tiffany was planning on pitching to him next week. Her client had already nixed any mention of his family in the advertisements, and reducing his travel would make it an even harder sell.

“I hear your concern, Allison,” she said as she sat on a barstool. “If you and Matt decide this isn’t the right thing for your family, we’ll turn our efforts in another direction.” As a sports agent, dealing with significant others was part of the job, a part Tiffany enjoyed and other agents rued. Sure, some wives assumed their husband’s success granted them the power to be overly demanding. Ass kissing was part of the game. Sometimes she wished she could give the meeker wives lessons in how to be tough. Teach them to have balls as big as their husbands’ and come right out and say what they meant instead of beating around the bush with bullshit hypotheticals. She reminded herself often that not every woman grew up in a testosterone-laden house with two competitive older brothers and a father who won the Heisman in college and went on to play pro sports—a house where mincing words didn’t cut the mustard.

“You missed the wedding.”

The deep male voice drew Tiffany’s attention from her phone call to the fine specimen of a man standing behind the bar. He looked like he’d just stepped off a Hot Guys in Suits Pinterest page. His tie hung loosely around the collar of his white dress shirt, which was open three buttons deep, revealing a smattering of dark chest hair, a rarity nowadays, when so many men manscaped every inch of their bodies. Tiffany preferred a man to look like a man, which included hair in all the right places. His sleeves were rolled up to his elbows, exposing heavily corded forearms, and his jacket hung casually from two fingers over his left shoulder. Her fingers itched to send the last few buttons—and that jacket—flying to the floor. The guy’s chiseled jaw and dark eyes were movie-star classic, and his dark hair was thick enough to hang on to. She’d had a long, hard day, and he looked like he could provide a long, hard, pleasure-filled night.

Perfect.

Holding his gaze, she spoke into the phone as he laid his jacket across the bar, giving her the impression he wasn’t the bartender, but rather a guest who’d happened to wander back there. “Allison, I’ll see what else I can come up with and get back to you. Right. Okay, hon. Thank you.” After ending the call, she responded to the stud behind the bar. “Wedding? Who gets married at a bar?”

“My brother, for one.” He nodded across the room to a group of men and women who were holding their glasses up in a toast.

She zeroed in on one she recognized as her tall, dark colleague. “Mick Bad is married?” The high-powered attorney was a workaholic like her, and he’d been unattached two months earlier, when they’d worked together on a deal for one of her clients. She’d never understand couples who claimed to fall in love practically overnight. Love was a crutch for weak people who needed someone else to lean on. Except Mick Bad had never needed anyone to lean on. She wondered if his new bride was pregnant.

“The one and only.” Hot guy’s eyes took a long, luxurious stroll down her body, lingered on her breasts, then roamed north, hovering around her mouth, before finally meeting her gaze. He flashed a wolfish grin full of sinful promises.

“Dylan Bad at your service.”

Pushing thoughts of her newly married colleague’s expedient nuptials aside, she focused on his very available brother. A definite player, which was fine with her. She had no time—or interest—in anything but a quick hookup, and the six-two or -three stud had already shot to the top of tonight’s fantasy list.

“What’s your pleasure?” he asked with more than a hint of innuendo.

You. Naked, with your head buried between my legs, to start.

“Surprise me.” She watched him turn to prepare her drink and checked out the way his dark slacks hugged his perfect ass. It had been a long time since she’d found a man this attractive. But Mick Bad’s brother? That spelled trouble.

Mary – ☆☆☆☆
First, I have to say that this story did not pull me in and keep my attention as well as the first book with Mick did. It is a good story and I loved Dylan, but there seemed to be something missing for me. I love Melissa Foster and her stories usually have me hanging on every page, but this one didn't until closer to the end. I gave it four stars because to me, the ending was the best part and the sexual tension between Dylan and Tiffany was undeniable and hot, but for the most part, it was a 3.5 star story.

Dylan Bad owns Night Caps, a local club, and is one of the four Bad brothers. When he sees a woman he wants, he goes after her. He has a few demons in his past that will pull at your heart. When he sees Tiffany, he knows he wants her, but his brother Mick warns him that she is a ball buster and he needs to steer clear of her. But Dylan is up for the challenge.

Tiffany Winters is a sports agent and she is good at her job because she doesn't take time for anything else. She gets what her clients want and is available to them 24/7. When she slips into Night Caps to answer a phone call, she doesn't realize that she is instantly put on Dylan's radar.

She tries to talk him in to a one-night stand, but Dylan wants more. Because he knows she needs a little free time.

Can Dylan make Tiffany see that she can do her job and have a personal life at the same time? Will Tiffany push him away when he sees the determination she has for her job? Can they both help each other heal from the pain of the past?

As I said, I love Melissa Foster and I can't wait for Carson's story, brother #3.

Ruthie – ☆☆☆☆
This is the second in the series and is the perfect complement to Mick and Amanda's story. You could read this as a standalone – but as any Melissa Foster reader would know, all her books have references to other books and series, so if you want a full experience, just keep reading them all to get the fullest picture!

I really enjoyed this book, because it is firmly rooted in real life – okay, the real life of two not very ordinary people, but still... We get to see them just being; in Tiffany's case, something that she has been avoiding since childhood. Watching her unwind, and accept Dylan into her life is a very pleasing experience. Between them, they really get to realise more about themselves than anything else, and translate it into their honesty with each other. They are also incredibly attracted to each other physically, which can lead to some very sexy interludes. Do not, however, think this is all heat and smiles, oh no, I had to resort to a tissue a couple of times, but it was absolutely worth it. Some super funny scenes too – which gave it balance and had me reading long into the night.

This is one of those books which just provides a lovely, real story, and pulls out all the emotions of laughter, tears, and plenty of sighs, both dreamy and of frustration! Thank you Ms. Foster, for once again pulling it out of the bag.

Lee'Anne – ☆☆☆
This was a good read, not nearly as great as the previous book in the series, but it kept me sucked in and had an interesting storyline.

Dylan Bad isn’t your typical “Bad” boy. He’s looking for his one and only and when he meets Tiffany, he thinks he’s found the one. Tiffany is looking for nothing more than a one-night stand and thinks she’s found just the man when she runs into Dylan. Though the two have similar pasts they’re complete opposites, Dylan being super open and Tiffany closed off. Dylan sets out to tear down her walls and Tiffany tries her best to allow it; there is one scene where Tiffany truly steps outside her comfort-zone with a surprise for Dylan, and I had to stop reading to wipe my eyes I laughed so hard.

I really enjoyed that this book had a fast pace, a good amount of steam, and had me laughing. The storyline, though good, was a bit cliché and the storyline progresses, but sometimes I found myself skimming more than absorbing. I look forward to seeing where Melissa Foster takes the next book.

Mick by Melissa Foster Blog Tour

Indulge your inner vixen…

Meet the Bad Boys… Four sinfully sexy, fiercely loyal, uber alpha brothers about to fall head over heels for their leading ladies. If dirty talk, cursing, or raw, passionate sex turns you off, the After Dark books are not for you, because everything’s naughtier after dark.

***

Amanda Jenner is done being a boring-man magnet and has finally taken control of her love life. As any smart paralegal would, she’s researched the hell out of how to seduce a man. She’s waxed, primped, and ready to put her newfound skills into action—and a masquerade bar crawl is the perfect venue for her solo coming-out party.

Entertainment attorney Mick Bad lives by two hard and fast rules. He never mixes business with pleasure, and he doesn’t do relationships, which makes the anonymity of a masquerade bar crawl the perfect place for a onetime hookup.

Amanda thinks she’s hit the jackpot when she bags a tall, dark, and sinfully delicious masked man—until she discovers the man she’s made out with is her off-limits boss. Mick’s already crossed a line he can never uncross, and one taste of sweet and sexy Amanda has only whet his appetite. When Mick offers to give Amanda a lesson in seduction—no strings, no regrets, and for goodness’ sake, come Monday, no quitting—the tables turn, and Mick’s totally unprepared for the lessons this sweet temptress provides.

Lured by the pulse of sex and anonymity, Amanda Jenner moved through the dusky bar, brushing against silk, satin, cotton, and flesh, each graze feeding the adrenaline coursing through her veins. Blue lights misted over sweaty strangers lost in the seductive bump and grind of foreplay and hoping for a night of erotic pleasure. If Amanda tried hard enough, she could smell tomorrow’s scent du jour—regret. Tonight she had no room for the confidence-crushing worry of what tomorrow would bring. She scanned the crowd, as she had in the previous three bars, immediately dismissing anyone who wasn’t in costume. Her world was full of boring men who excelled at wining, dining, and boring her to sleep. Ten years of romance novels and movies had led her astray, sending her on a search for the elusive needle in a haystack. She’d led herself astray, always the careful thinker, careful dresser. Or as her younger sister, Ally, would say, Careful kisser, careful lover. Ally, however, had taken charge of her sex life—and she’d found the perfect man.

Now it’s my turn.

Wow, what can I say about Mick Bad? He is BAD, but in a good way. He is sexy and all alpha male and finds out that he is possessive when he needs to be. He is a powerful attorney who knows what he wants, but he can't have the one thing he wants because he wants Amanda, but he knows where that will lead. After he has seen love fall apart with his parents, he knows the fairy tale isn't real.

Amanda has worked as a paralegal for Mick for the last three years and has lusted after him, but she knows that there will never be anything between them. He doesn't even pay attention to any of the women who come into the office and throw themselves at him, so what chance would she have. So she comes up with a plan to find her inner sex kitten and learn how to seduce a man. One night during a masked bar crawl, she notices a man that is powerful, strong, and draws attention, and Amanda is overwhelmed by his stare. Can she do the one-night stand thing?

Will Amanda be able to seduce the stranger in the bar? Will Mick finally realize how he feels about Amanda? Can they make things work before anyone gets hurt?

I have found that anytime a Melissa Foster book comes across my review list, I have to have it. I am never disappointed and this book is worth it. I was hoping things work out for Amanda through the whole book, and lusting after Mick myself. His name says it all, I mean what more do you need to read this book than Mick Bad. So I recommend you read this book and also read the Wild brothers series, they are hot too. I want more of the Bad brothers NOW!

Lee'Anne – ☆☆☆☆
Definitely a super-hot read!

Amanda Jenner’s sister has finally talked her into trying out being a seductress instead of always being so straight-laced. Amanda has been reading a book on how to seduce a man and is finally ready to give it a try, so she heads to a masquerade bar crawl. Mick Bad, Amanda’s boss and a no nonsense attorney, doesn’t do relationships. He’s looking for a quick hookup at the masquerade ball but winds up with a bit more than he bargained for. When Amanda see the super sexy masked man, the attraction is immediate and they quickly head towards the bathrooms, but when Mick realizes who she really is he puts a stop to it before things go too far. Instead he invites Amanda out the next night and winds up offering to train her in the art of seduction, the only problem; will he be able to let her go once the training ends?

I loved Amanda and Mick both, they’re perfect together! I also like that this is the first book in this series, but we got a few cross-over characters from other series by this author. This has a strong plotline, good supporting characters, and tons of steam. As always, Melissa Foster has done a great job and I look forward to her next book!

I've been waiting for this book ever since we met Mick and Amanda in the Wild Boys series.

Amanda is trying her hand at being a seductress because she is fed up of all the boring guys she attracts. So armed with her 'How to' book, she heads to a masked party where she meets a masked stranger.

Looking for a quick hookup for the night, Mick heads to the masked party and sets his sights on a pretty blonde. He quickly discovers that it's his work colleague who he has been lusting after for years.

I loved these guys together, Amanda is quite innocent, which I just found cute. They had a great chemistry between them as well. I mean the book was seriously hot.

I really enjoyed that we still got to see all the characters from the Wild Boys series as well.

Mick is a great start to the series and I can't wait for the next book.

Bad Boys After Dark: Mick, is my first book by Melissa Foster. Boy can she write a smoking hot love scene! This book is laden with steamy encounters and a very dirty talking, hot alpha male. Mick and Amanda meet during a masquerade pub crawl. Amanda is trying on a new to her, sexy persona. She's tired of the boring lawyers and businessmen she seems to attract. Looking for something sexier & edgier, she eyes the man across the room and holds his stare. Little does she know, it's her boss! The one she's been hot for going on 3 long years!!! Mick, realizing it's Amanda he's seducing much too late. They're already in the men's room steaming up the mirrors! But, Mick finds himself more than intrigued with the unbuttoned up version of his normally very buttoned up paralegal. Coming clean with Amanda the next day on his identity, they embark on a weekend tryst to help bring Amanda into her new seductive self. They both end up falling hard while trying hard to hold back. Mick steals the show in this book, he's the ultimate pillow talker and had me fanning myself often. Holy Hotness, do I love a dirty talker! It's a very "helpless romantic" type novel that is sweet yet sexy. Fun and easy, it's an entertaining read! Mick has three brothers and I’m looking forward to getting to know them better in the upcoming Bad Boys books!

It's been a while since I read the first book in this series, but I remembered loving it so I was excited to pick up this book. I have to say it reminded me of the couple in the first book, so I remembered why I loved the story, and then I fell in love with our new couple, too.

This was such a fun story with lots of emotional highs and lows for the characters, and nail biting for me because I just didn't know how or if things were going to work out.

I loved watching Amanda try to be sexy and fumbling around as she did it, but it being her natural personality and touches that drove Mick wild.

Such a good story with what I'd say was low angst and medium heat, but some super sexy scenes as well.

I can't wait to find out who we are going to watch fall in love next because I love the way Melissa Foster writes her men and romance!
