Bad Girls Do by Rosalie Lario Blog Tour

Bad girls have all the fun…

Trying to fit in with expectations has left Diane Milstrom lonely and dateless for yet another New Year’s Eve. After being forced to witness her ex proposing to the woman he dumped her for, she has one too many drinks and makes an uncharacteristically impulsive decision: she’s not going to be good anymore. It’s gotten her nothing but heartache, and besides, everyone knows bad girls have all the fun.

Sam Everly enjoys the lifestyle his family’s wealth provides, but he hates the trappings of society that come with it. If he has to attend one more family function full of bored socialites, he just might lose it. Diane Milstrom, his eldest brother’s ex-girlfriend, is the worst of the lot…or so he always thought. But when he overhears her making a Bad Girl To-Do list, he starts to wonder if maybe there’s more to her than meets the eye. Curiosity gets the better of him, and he volunteers to help her with some of the more…ahem, explicit items on her list.

When Sam points out that being naughty with her ex’s brother is something only a bad girl would do, Diane can’t help but see his point. Besides, she could do worse than a little between-the-sheets action with a sexy guy who makes her heart beat in ways his brother never could. It’s only supposed to be a fling, a way to help her stretch her bad girl wings. But the more items they cross off her list, the higher the stakes become. Because if they aren’t careful, she just might fall in love…and that’s one thing a bad girl should never do.

Author's Note: If you’re into sexy billionaires with a touch of Alpha, who love to talk dirty in the bedroom (and out of it), then this contemporary erotic romance series might be for you!

Giving into impulse, Sam turned back to Diane. She sighed and set her phone, which was covered in a pink rhinestone-studded case, onto the table. Then she leaned over it in a way that made her look sad and lost. The movement gave him a clear view of the generous cleavage spilling out over the top of her slinky golden gown.

To his chagrin, he felt himself growing hard again.

Don’t be a dick. Just walk away.

She’d clearly had too much to drink. Doing anything other than leaving her alone would be stupid and wrong. Yet even as he thought that, he found his feet moving directly toward her.

Before he could even process what he was doing, he found himself taking the seat Diane’s friend had just vacated.

Her eyes widened as she looked over at him and then she groaned. “Oh, no.”

He eyed her in confusion. Had he done something to her he didn’t remember?

“What?”

Diane’s lips puckered into an enticing pout. “Nothing personal, but the last thing I want to see right now is another Everly.”

“Ouch.” He mock scowled to hide the twinge of hurt her words had sparked. “We’re not all alike, you know.”

She sighed and leaned back in her chair. “I know.”

He hesitated for a moment, at a loss for words. Something in her expression made him want to apologize for Andrew’s carelessness. He opened his mouth to do just that, when she crossed her arms over her waist, unintentionally pushing the swell of her breasts together and making his brain momentarily short circuit.

His cock twitched in his pants, and when he spoke, his words weren’t the comfort he’d thought to give.

“I overheard you talking about your list.”

Her breath hitched. “You what?”

“Your list.” He’d already mentioned it. No going back now. “I heard you talking about it.”

Diane locked gazes with him, her light green eyes dilated in a way that made him think of sex. “I don’t know what you’re talking about.”

Oh, she wanted to play that game, did she? If there was anything he was good at, it was games.

Grinning, he plucked her phone off the table.

“What are you doing?”

She lunged for it, but he raised his hand in the air, and her palms landed on his chest instead. She sucked in another breath, her chest heaving in a way that made it hard to take his eyes from her breasts, and then slowly sat back.

Seizing the moment, he swiped through her phone and found the list. Some demon inside of him prompted him to recite it aloud. “Oral sex in public. Spanking. Bondage.”

Well, damn. He didn’t know why he’d felt the need to tease her, but with every word he read, his humor evaporated. In its place, rose sharp, dark need.

He hesitated on the last item she’d listed. “Play slave to his master.”

When his gaze rose to hers, two bright spots of color decorated her cheeks. She could’ve slapped him, or cursed him out and stalked away. Both of those would have been well within her right.

Instead, she lifted her chin haughtily and said, “So you’ve read my Bad Girl To-Do list. So what?”

Even as admiration for her gumption coursed through him, his insides twisted with a melding of emotions: chagrin, lust, confusion, all rolled into one tight ball in his gut.

So what? So she’d just typed his every secret desire into her pink-studded cell phone, that was what.

Play slave to his master.

How many times had he fantasized about getting a woman to do just that? The problem was, given his usual laidback demeanor, any time he tried to go that route in the bedroom he ended up surprising the hell out of his partner. Was it so hard to believe, given his carefree nature, that he could be an Alpha in the bedroom?

Apparently so.

Diane didn’t know it, but her bad girl list had just awakened his deepest fantasies, and now she was the star of the play running in his mind.

Shannan☆☆☆☆
Bad Girls Do is the third installment to the Everly Brothers Series. The one revolves around Sam, the youngest brother. He's the bad boy, the black sheep, he lives by his own rules.

Diane Milstrom witnesses what should have been a crushing moment, her ex, Andrew, propose to his girlfriend on New Year's Eve. She was upset but not crushed, she realizes being the good daughter, the good girl is getting her nowhere. Being bad is the way to go. When she devises her "To - Do" list she has no idea Sam overhears until he offers to help her work through the things on her list.

Can what she says one drunken night really happen? Can she take Sam up on his offer? No strings, no emotions. Is it the perfect set up? Just what she needs to learn to be bad.

My only complaint is how quick these read! I am really enjoying the series. I know I say it after each book, but Sam is my favorite...must be that bad boy in him.

Ruthie☆☆☆☆
I have read and enjoyed the previous two books, and think this one is even better. Once again the upbringing and relationships around them are shown to affect these two characters. But Sam and Diane may just be in for the surprise of their lives, and what fun it is to be along for the ride. If you have read the earlier books it is hard not to be wary of Diane, but this is a great reversal of her fortune and awakening of her real personality. Really fun, hot and romantic read, loved it!

Good Girls Don’t by Rosalie Lario Is Now Available & Reviewed

Good girls don’t do one-night stands…

If there’s one thing Lyssa Rivera knows, it’s that good girls don’t do one-night stands. But it only takes a few hours in the company of sexy businessman, James Everly, to change her mind. All she wants is a night of sin with the man who’s admittedly way out of her league. Then she can go back to being painfully, boringly good.

James Everly doesn’t do relationships, not after the horrible example set by his parents. When he meets a luscious, irresistible woman at his favorite bar, he’s more than ready to show her a night of ecstasy, but that’s all it could ever be. He certainly never plans on seeing her again. Yet when he shows up at his meeting the next morning to woo a venture capitalist, he’s shocked to find his competition is the very woman whose bed he just left.

James knows he should stay away. He’s no good at long term, and that’s what a woman like Lyssa deserves. But as the two vie for the investor’s attention, he finds himself struggling to choose between the family business and the woman whose touch makes him burn with desire.

“Lyssa, I’d like to introduce you to Steve Peterson,” Rebecca said, stepping toward the man. “He’s the owner of Peterson Development. Mr. Peterson, this is Lyssa Rivera of North Star Digital.”

Ah, so this was one of her competitors. Lyssa recognized the name of his company from her dealings with other real estate developers. Peterson Development was a newer but rapidly growing company that specialized in building smaller-scale office buildings in Brooklyn and the Bronx.

She breathed a sigh of relief. Though Peterson Development was considerably larger than her own firm, it wasn’t so far off that the idea of competition between the two was laughable.

Lyssa stepped forward to shake the man’s hand. “It’s a pleasure to meet you, Mr. Peterson.”

“Ms. Rivera.” He gave her a measuring glance. “North Star? You market for local real estate companies, correct?”

“Mostly. We also have a few retailer accounts in the area.”

The corners of his mouth rose upward and he released her hand. She could practically see the wheels spinning in his head. He was weighing her level of threat as his competition.

“It’s a pleasure.” With those words, he turned back to the window, effectively dismissing her.

The old, familiar weight of anger burned in Lyssa’s chest. How many times since she’d opened her firm had others dismissed her in that same callous manner?

She forcibly pushed the anger aside. If Steve Peterson wanted to underestimate her, let him. That would only help her in the long run.

When she turned and strode to the table, confidently claiming a seat at one of the ends, Rebecca’s mouth tipped up into a smile. So quickly that Lyssa wondered if she’d imagined it, Rebecca gave her a wink. “The third member of your party should be here shortly, as should Mr. Freeman.”

With those words, she left the room.

The minutes ticked by slowly. Steve Peterson paced the room the entire time, his mouth moving as if he were practicing his speech. Just looking at him made her nervous, so she purposely diverted her gaze and took a deep breath.

Going over her speech one more time wasn’t going to do anything at this point. She already knew it all. Now was the time to clear her head, so she concentrated on her breathing techniques until her heart rate slowed back to normal tempo. Hopefully, it wouldn’t go crazy again once Martin Freeman arrived.

She lost track of how much time passed before the door to the conference room swung open once more. An elderly man strode inside. Even though he walked the slower pace of a man in his late seventies, he was bursting with assurance. There was no doubt that this was Martin Freeman.

Lyssa shot to her feet as his gaze moved from her to Steve and then back. An easy smile formed on his lips. “Good morning Ms. Rivera, Mr. Peterson, I’m Martin Freeman.”

Even though she knew now would be the time to get nervous, something about the older man immediately put Lyssa at ease. Her smile was genuine as she crossed the room, reaching him just seconds before Steve, who’d practically raced over to him.

“It’s a pleasure to meet you, Mr. Freeman.” She held out her hand, and he gave it a warm shake.

“Likewise.” He turned to shake Steve’s hand before saying to them both, “Please, call me Martin. I hope we can all be on a first name basis here.”

When she murmured her agreement, he glanced at his wristwatch and said, “I had hoped our third party would be here by now, but since he isn’t, we’ll just have to commence without him.”

Maybe the third person wouldn’t show. If only she could be so lucky.

Martin shot them a charming smile and motioned toward the table. “Shall we?”

She headed back to her chair, but only made it about halfway there before the door squeaked open behind her. Before she could turn toward the sound, the smooth, deep voice of a man said, “My apologies on my tardiness. I hope I’m not too late, Martin.”

Shock rooted Lyssa to the floor. The panic that she’d initially feared finally materialized. Because that voice…it sounded awfully familiar.

“Certainly not,” Martin said, his tone congenial. “It’s a pleasure to see you again.”

“You as well,” the man agreed.

“Lyssa, Steve,” Martin said. “I’d like to introduce you to the third member of our party, James Everly of Everly Publications.”

Swallowing hard to rein in the rising tide of nausea within her, Lyssa forced herself to turn around.

Her shell-shocked gaze locked on the familiar blue eyes of the man who’d snuck out of her bed sometime between last night and this morning.

Shannan☆☆☆☆
I am enjoying this series about the Everly Brothers. Sexy, closed off to relationships, alpha males with money, it honestly doesn't get better than that. Ms. Lario introduces us to James Everly, who we first met in Wild Girls Rule. James is trying to get financial backing for Everly Publishing to move internationally. When he sees the dark haired beauty in a bar, all he is thinking of is tonight, not tomorrow's meeting.

When he walks into the meeting and sees Lyssa, he doesn't know what to do. Lyssa Rivera is also looking to get the financial backing for her marketing company. Imagine her surprise when James and Lyssa are going after the same money.

I really enjoyed James's story. Above all else there is a sweetness about James and Lyssa. The sex scenes are hot, especially the outside scene WOW Kindle melting. I can't wait to see what Ms. Lario has in store for Sam and of all people Diane, Andrew's ex!

Ruthie☆☆☆☆
This is the second in the series about the Everly brothers, and is definitely as good as the first.

James is desperate to secure the funding that they lost due to Andrew's relationship changes. But then James finds that the competition is someone with whom he is rather besotted. Misunderstandings and explanations abound, but Andrew's wise words help concentrate his mind.

I loved this story. Perfect length for a romance, plenty of passion and heated encounters, as well as a good plot. And the set up at the end for the third story was brilliant – can't wait!

Slowly, he leaned forward. The movement slid her hand just a fraction higher up his thigh, and she held her breath.

His lips stopped just inches from hers, so close his warm, whiskey-scented breath fanned her skin. They trailed to her ear, grazing the surface of her skin and sending a shiver down her spine. Her stomach tightened from his proximity, from the urge to feel his body rub against hers.

“I can’t say I’m not tempted,” he whispered into her ear. “Because I am. Very much so. But you and me, that would be a very bad idea.”

“Why?” she whispered back. Her voice came out thin and shaky, but she was past the point of caring.

“I have nothing to offer you. And you deserve better than that.”

Leaving her to process his words, Andrew sat back and dug into his pocket. He pulled a few bills out of his wallet and set them onto the counter.

“Go back to your room, Hailey.” His eyes met hers. “Get some sleep. We’ll forget any of this ever happened.”

He rose from the bar and left.

He…left?

What?

Her body trembled with shock as she turned to watch him go. He wanted her. She knew it. She’d seen the desire in his eyes.

How was it possible that he could just walk away?

No. I don’t think so.

Not without talking about this. Not without a better reason than he had nothing to offer her.

She wasn’t asking for anything more than hot sex. And there was no doubt in her mind he was more than equipped to give her that.

Rising to her feet, Hailey rushed out of the bar, leaving behind the soft, muted roar of the ever-increasing crowd.

She caught up with him as he entered the elevator, and slipped inside before it closed with just him inside. Anger took over.

How could he so nonchalantly walk away?

“Hold on now,” she said.

He straightened to his full height, eyes wary.

“Who are you to tell me what I do or don’t need?”

“Hailey—”

“I have news for you, Andrew.” Her feet glided toward him, and his back hit the wall. She came to a stop inches away, rising to her toes so she could better meet his eyes. “I’m not a little girl anymore. I’m a grown woman who can make her own decisions.”

He sighed and leaned his head against the wall. “Hailey, I—”

“That includes whom I do or don’t sleep with.” She poked her finger into his firm chest. “And if I want to have a night of meaningless fun, I’m perfectly entitled to do so.”

His eyes flashed with heat. “I didn’t say—”

“So, if you’re going to turn me down, give me a better reason than you have nothing to offer me.”

“I don’t—”

She jabbed her finger into his chest again. “Because all I want from you is sex.”

Andrew let out a muffled curse and grabbed her wrist. The spark of heat in his gaze flamed into a blazing inferno. He tugged, and she went tumbling forward. Right into his arms.

The warm slide of his chest against hers made her gasp for breath. When his arms closed around the small of her back, her heart thumped a furious rhythm. She locked gazes with him, unable to tear herself away from the emotions raging in his eyes.

“You should know better than to ask that of me,” he whispered, his voice low and hoarse.

“Why?” She let herself relax against him, let her hips move forward to press against his. He was hard and hot down there, and he oh so definitely wanted her. If the arousal pressing against her stomach hadn’t told her so, the muscle ticking in his jaw would have.

She reached up to trace the hard line of his chin, the strong bridge of his nose. Down to his full, kissable lips. How many times had she imagined doing just that, kissing him until he went crazy for want of her?

“It’s okay, you know,” she said. “To let yourself go every now and again.”

He sucked in a breath and his eyes lowered down her body. The tension between them rose to unbearable levels, making every nerve ending in her body tingle with awareness. He was weakening, she could feel it. He wanted her as badly as she wanted him.

“I can’t,” he whispered.

“You can.”

Slowly, his gaze rose back to her lips. The conflict pouring from him was almost palpable.

“It’s a bad idea,” he murmured.

Maybe, but…

She gave him a sexy little grin. “Sometimes the bad ideas are the most fun.”

His gaze grew softer, desire curling in his eyes. Darkening them to luscious pools of heat.

Shannan☆☆☆☆
Hailey Thompson, is a carefree spirit. She does what makes her happy. She moved to New York on a whim. The job she moved from Florida for suddenly disappeared and she had no idea what she was going to do. Going back to Florida wasn't an option.

Andrew Everly runs a very successful publication company. He has big shoes to fill and he takes that very seriously. When he agrees to let his childhood friend's sister work as his assistant he has no idea what he is opening himself up for.

I thought this was going to be the typical forbidden office romance but it turned out to be so much more. I really got into this read! Hailey had such a great personality, at times flighty but it's what made her, her. Andrew is the picture of a business man, but when he let his true self out, he was adorable and totally alpha.

I am looking forward to reading more from Ms. Lario especially the next book in the series which centers around Andrew's brother, James.

Ruthie☆☆☆☆
This is a salutary reminder of just how much your parents can **** you up. Poor (emotionally) Andrew has been through the wringer when it comes to bad parenting. His high values (of wealth and power) drummed into him by his father have left him somewhat constipated when it comes to matters of the heart. So when Hailey breezes into his life, it is inevitable that problems will arise.

I enjoyed this read, and felt the inner dialogue worked well. I think the end could have been slower ... if that makes sense! But I am delighted that there is another book or two to come for brothers James and Sam.
