The last in the series – that has been an absolute pleasure to read and review. From the very first story, which set the background to the journey we have taken together, to this lovely conclusion, I have enjoyed it all.

I have been waiting for Brent to get his happily ever after since book one to be honest, once Reece and Jenna paired up, he was the one who had missed out. Most definitely a man who deserves his chance at love, he is still stunned at his wife's demand for a divorce five years ago.

Therefore we know that Elena, who has thought him her perfect man from the first time she saw him, has many issues to overcome before he will even consider her as a future partner. After all, she is his boss's long-lost daughter, and she is ten years younger than him... let alone she is planning on a career which involves travel. But chemistry is the darnedest thing – along with some clever matchmaking pushes from Jenna – and somehow, we just know that it will work out. How she will get him on the stage for Mr. December is another challenge entirely!

Along with another fun and feisty romance, we get a catch up with the previous winners and their newly minted romances. The Fix finally is in the black, although the story of the ill-fated bar does not end there, and there is one final twist to bring the story to a well-rounded conclusion.

It has been a fun time waiting for each book to be released, and I found the gap of two weeks between each one to be just the perfect time to remember the previous installment and be ready for the next. Thank you, J. Kenner.

This is the eleventh book in the series, and finally reveals the mystery that is Griff. You definitely need to read these books in order, to get the full picture, but actually this has a strong enough core story to work on its own too.

From day one, Griff has been the hidden, hooded regular at The Fix. No reasons given, just hints at the damage done by burns. We also have watched him see everyone else pair up, and his pleasure at Bev’s company, even if he will never act on their attraction.

But, finally his screenplay is picked up by a famous director and she will be the lead. And as we know, they both have feelings for each other... can it happen, or will he always pull away?

I think that this may have the ultimate “love conquers all” moment of the series, and there have been a few in the last few months. Only one more to go, how will I manage without my Fix?

This is the tenth book in the series and I would definitely recommend that you read them in order, as the characters and the underlying plot follow on through each book. This one in particular absolutely needs book nine to be read.

Hannah is ready to start the new law firm with Easton, but she needs funds to put into the partnership. She is due a fund left by her father, but her mother and stepfather are holding onto it until she has a settled life. When she visited with girlfriend, Janet, they definitely did not approve.

Now her best friend Selma offers her brother as a fake fiancé to help get the money. Matthew, a gym owner, agrees to help out, in part because he really likes Hannah. There are some funny lines as they have to share a bedroom when they go to visit, and they clearly have chemistry which they ought to deny. Her stepfather is truly vile and gets what he deserves from Matthew.

I really enjoyed this installment, it isn't heavy on the issues of The Fix, but they are tied in neatly. Hannah and Matthew's new relationship will be one to watch in months to come.

This is the ninth book in the series and is another scorcher! This time, two people who first collided whilst in college reconnect due to a legal issue. Soon though, they cannot resist the chemistry still sparking between them.

This is a really fun and super sexy story – which explains just why they didn't last the first time around... and it is just the very best reason (and the worst!). They finally disclose more about themselves, and actually both learn some valuable lessons about why they are so far off track. Of course, the journey is not smooth but when Easton goes the extra mile by entering the September competition, Selma realises that they really are meant to be together.

I loved the whiskey distillery elements, it tied in well to the bar, it gave us insight into Selma's nature, and gave us a chance to understand why she felt the need to move on – but also when faced with the truth of the sale, can't quite let go. The connection her brother had with Easton was also an interesting twist, as was Hannah reminding Easton where he was going astray with his career.

All in all, an excellent new story in this fun series.

This is the eighth book in the series – so we are expecting to meet Mr. August! Do make sure you read these in order, as the underlying story and many of the characters run through every book.

I am loving how we are being shown into the deepest elements of people that have been in the story all along. Taylor has been a fun part of the girl gang so far, but now we discover that she has overcome some very dark and difficult times in her past. And sadly, they may be about to re-enter her life and ruin it forever. Fortunately, her friends at The Fix may just have the power to help her... if she lets them. And Taylor shows great strength in doing just that – trusting her friends to help her. It has the added bonus of meaning that the man she has been crushing on for a while, Landon, is the one to step forward.

Landon is so glad that he is getting a chance to show Taylor he cares; in fact, by the end we get the very romantic ending that we want. But I shall leave you to find out how it all works out!

Once again the epilogue gives us a big hint as to what is in store for book nine.

This is the seventh book in the series, but takes us back in time a little, which is really fun. I would recommend that you read them in order, and if you've not started the series yet, then you are in for a fun treat indeed.

Amanda is a regular at The Fix, and sister to radio DJ Nolan, who has had his story already! After being burned badly by her ex-boyfriend, she is all about no-strings affairs. However, one night at the bar she sees someone who definitely peaks her interest. The rest, in the words of all good romances, is history – but watching that history unfold is highly enjoyable, very hot, and clues us in on some bar issues, as well as the needs of these two cautious, yet very attached individuals.

Perfect next book, and the hints about book eight make me want the days to pass quicker already!
