Looking for You is the sixth and final installment of the Boggy Creek Valley series. It shouldn't be read as a standalone. It should be read in the order the author intended to get the full effect of each book.

Finding Everly beaten and bruised on his front porch wasn't what he expected, but Kyle was going to do everything he could to keep her safe. Someone was trying to kill Everly, and she knew the only place she'd be safe was with Kyle. She knew some of the people involved but she had no idea why they wanted her dead. She didn't want to bring whatever danger to her parents or her brother. Kyle was the only safe option.

I loved a more action-packed story from Kelly Elliott. She, of course, had the swoon-worthy male lead, but the touch of action made this a different type of read than her usual, and I am here for it!! Kyle was the most in touch with his feeling of any of the other Boggy Creek Valley men. I loved seeing how romantic, sweet, and patient he was with Everly. Kyle and Everly were the perfect couple to finish up the series with. I highly recommend this series. I can't go wrong with any of these book boyfriends!

Brighton Rogers never expected to be in love with an actor. When she met her boss's son at their Christmas party, she instantly felt an attraction to him. After spending an unforgettable weekend with him, she finds out he's a very famous actor. Brighton wants to keep her private life private and at first, she enjoys sneaking around to be with Luke. After a year, she hates being on the sidelines and ends the relationship, going back to her family in Boggy Creek.

Luke (Walters) Morrison fell in love with Brighton that night at the Christmas party. He never wanted her to be stalked and harassed because of him, so keeping her a secret was the right thing to do at the time. When she sees his co-star kiss him at an event and ends the relationship, he knows he has to do everything in his power to get her back.

Luke and Brighton had an insta-love relationship bubble that they were so afraid of losing but never lost the love they had for each other. I enjoyed seeing how the relationship played out, seeing how close-lipped Brighton was in the other books regarding her time in Boston. Luke wasn't as swoony as some of the others in the series but still a great character.

I can't wait to see what's next for Kyle!

Surrender to Me is the fourth installment in the Boggy Creek Valley series. It can be read as a standalone but reads so much better if read in the order that the author intended. You really need past mentions in the rest of the series to get the full emotional impact of Hunter and Bella's story.

Hunter and Bella were high school sweethearts with their future planned out in front of them. After college they would marry and start the family they had always dreamed of, until Bella came home announcing she had quit school in the last semester of her senior year. She was shutting out Hunter and breaking up with him, with no explanation.

After ten years, Hunter had tried to move on but couldn't. Bella was it for him and he was going to do whatever he had to do to make that happen. Bella was so broken and didn't know how to come back from what she experienced in college, it changed her in so many ways she didn't even recognize herself anymore. Could Hunter break down the walls she built around her heart and body? Was Bella willing to get the help she needed to be able to move on?

She's the One is the third installment in the Boggy Creek Valley series. You can read it as a standalone without issue, but I don't know why you would want to. Each book is about a different set of characters within the town, but they are all linked together, and each book just builds upon the last. To get the most out of each book is to read in the order the author intended.

Bishop and Abby suffer a terrible loss that sends Abby on a tailspin. She's lost in her own head. She thinks she can never give Bishop what he wants. Bishop does everything in his power to comfort and protect Abby, but seeing him taking a moment to feel his own grief is enough to have her needing to get away.

Abby thought she was doing what was best for both of them. Coming back to Boggy Creek two years later is one of the hardest decisions she has to make. The risk of seeing Bishop moving on with someone else is almost enough to have her change her mind. Can she make Bishop understand her reasoning for leaving? Will he even hear her out?

Bishop never wanted Abby to leave. He doesn't understand what happened or where he went wrong. Seeing her back in Boggy Creek for good has him questioning every decision he's made in the two years she's been gone. Can they ever find their way back to each other?

Kelly Elliott does it again with this installment. I love everything about this one, the angst, the love, the humor, and the glimpses of past characters I can't get enough of.

Greer is the owner of the small bookstore on Main Street, Turning Pages. It has always been her dream to own the store and she worked out a deal with the owner of the building as a lease to own. She was proud of what she turned the little bookstore into. Unfortunately, working to make her dreams come true didn't leave her a whole lot of time to find love. When the sexy stranger comes into the store looking for a quiet place to work, Greer is at a loss for words. He is the most gorgeous man she's ever seen and makes a fool out of herself fumbling over her words. Luckily, Hudson thinks it's adorable and wants to see her again.

When Hudson's deadline looms over him and the words will not flow for his current manuscript, getting out of New York City seems like the perfect idea. Go somewhere quiet and less busy to just be able to think. He remembers family trips to Boggy Creek and thought it would be the perfect escape to get his book done on time. When he meets Greer, he can't help how his heart speeds up just at the sight of her. And when she offers her family cabin for him to really be alone to write, he's ready to marry her. (Well not really, but the cabin was the perfect place for him to be creative.)

I loved the sweetness and insta-love that Playing with Words provided. Of course, it was written in that Kelly Elliott style that has you swooning over the characters. Hudson and Greer were the perfect couple combination. They brought the sweet and the oh, so sexy moments. I do love this little town she created and can't wait for more.

Aiden and Willa have such a deep love for each other and to watch them come together was so beautifully written. I was brought to tears more than once while reading.
