This book picks up shortly after the events in Jazz and Kenni's book. We are still trying to find out who is the traitor among the family that runs the Kin.

Throughout this book, we discover more and more about just who Zack and Grace really are and how long the deceptions have been going on.

What we do know is that Zack is in love with Grace and has been, and, like any stubborn man, refuses to act on his desire due to his desire to protect Grace. However, when Grace is attacked at the doorstep of her own home, he believes the only way to protect her is to make everyone think that they are lovers. Grace has loved Zack for years and believes that he only feels pity for her and refuses to go along with his insane plan to use her to draw out the conspirators who are betraying their families. Unfortunately, it’s an argument that she can't win and winds up installed in Zack's house and bedroom and among all his friends.

I really enjoyed the story, although the end of the story felt rushed to me. The attraction between Zack and Grace could have been explored a bit more and along with a bit more backstory.

I love Lora Leigh. I always expect to be entertained and see some sexiness. This book was tough for me. I didn't read the Men of Summer books, so it left me with a bit of confusion as I read. I definitely didn't get the standalone feeling from it and kept feeling like I was missing bits and pieces.

Even though I had some confused moments, the story itself was still smoking hot and definitely suspenseful. Grace and Zach had their ups and downs, but I enjoyed their relationship. It was a more dramatic read from Lora Leigh compared to what I have read by her before.

Overall, it was a nice read and I'd recommend it to my fellow fans of sexy romance.
