Mary – ☆☆☆☆
Being the daughter of a True Brothers MC member doesn't get you the answers you are looking for. All Amber wants to know is the scumbag who killed her father last year has paid for it. But the members will not tell her anything, so she is going to find the answers herself. She ends up at the club of the Russian Mafia and it is too late when she realizes that she should not be there. When the brothers from the MC show up, she is whisked out of the office. It makes her so mad when they take over every situation.

Bam is a True Brother and is all too eager to protect Amber. She is a club princess and that means she is off limits to him. But he will protect her with everything he has, including his life. The more time he spends with her, the more he sees her true colors, she is independent, strong, vulnerable, and so hot.

They find themselves drawn to each other, but will they cross that line? Bam could lose his club brothers, the only family he has left, is it worth it? Is this true love or just lust?

I love a good MC story and each book seems to get better with each brother, but I think Bam and Amber are my favorites so far. If you are looking for a good MC that will have you guessing what happens next, then you need to read this series. I love it and can't wait to see what the next book is going to be about.


Kris – ☆☆☆☆
Fourth in this series and this is Hunter's book, aka Bam Bam. After the brutal murder of Stitch in the parking lot, Stitch's family is a bit left behind by the True Brothers MC. Amber, Stitch's daughter, is seeking retribution and closure for her father's death. She starts stirring up the club and the Russian bratva for answers on her father's killer. Bam ends up having to protect Amber after the Russian's son takes an interest in her. Realizing that Stitch's family has been forgotten about, Bam makes sure the brothers start helping them out again. In the meantime, Amber, who swore she'd never get involved with a biker after her dad's death, finds she's drawn to Bam in all the ways she wishes she wasn't. The two start out with a bit of a love-hate thing that turns to lust. But Amber isn't someone the club will just let Bam "play" with, he has to claim her or leave her be. Bam having to choose between Amber and his brothers, who are his only family, made for good reading. I enjoyed Bam's character a lot and Amber grew on me more and more. I can’t say this was my favorite and it felt a bit rushed at the end with an odd ambush by the rival gang. Also, a death that ties things up for Bam and Amber nicely but felt forced to me. Amber having to decide if she wants this MC life and all the violence and uncertainty is done nicely though and I felt for her and her mom in the end. I didn't find any set up for the next brother in book five but I'm in for the next one.


Lee’Anne – ☆☆☆☆☆
This is a great read – definitely has a bit of a slow start but really picks up after the first few chapters. The hero in this book, Bam Bam, is probably one of my favorite characters in a long time – he’s swoon worthy.

Amber’s father was president of the True Brothers MC until he was murdered. Now, Amber wants nothing to do with the club as they’ve pretty much turned their backs on her and her mother, plus they’re not willing to give her details on her father’s death. On a mission to ensure that the man that killed her father was “properly taken care of,” Amber winds up at a bar owned by the Russian mafia and their scary leader, Ruslan, takes immediate interest in her – Bam Bam swoops in and gets her out of there. When Bam Bam realizes that Amber’s family hasn’t been taken care of since her father’s passing, he makes it his personal mission to change that, while also keeping her safe from Ruslan and keeping his growing feelings for her tamped down.

Though I loved Bam Bam’s character and he was my favorite, Amber’s character was also pretty great. She’s fierce, determined, and won’t let anyone get in her way when she’s on a mission. When she and Bam get together, they light the pages on fire with passion. This is my favorite book from the series so far. The absolute only thing I didn’t like about it was that I feel like an MC would never “forget” about a previous president’s family like they did Amber’s – on that same note, it’s definitely made up for. I think this is the first MC romance I’ve read (and I’ve read a lot) that the male was willing to give up his club for a woman – it was a refreshing change. I’m looking forward to more from Gillian Archer!

Kris – ☆☆☆☆
Book three in the True Brothers series, this one is Tank's book. He's a Desert Storm vet with PTSD. Tank has been a one-and-done kind of guy since joining the True Brothers. He isn't looking for anything long-term after his horrible divorce. Nicole is Jessica's friend and bridesmaid and she doesn't "do" bikers. In fact, she loathes them and has tried to talk her friends out of being with the other True Brothers. Being there for Jessica is priority though and Nicole has to suck up her disdain and do her friendship duties. Doesn't hurt that Tank is pretty darn nice to look at and fun to goad. We don’t know why Nicole is averse to bikers until things become clear when her one-percenter dad is released from prison.

Tank and Nicole progress nicely without too many starts and stops. I really fell for Tank and enjoyed his character. Written really well with moments of tenderness but all around badassery, he's a great alpha male. Nicole had good sass and backbone and was a well written interest for a man like Tank. I'm invested in this club and look forward to the next book! Solid 4-star read.


Mary – ☆☆☆☆
As the True Brothers MC gets ready for Zag and Jessica's wedding, Nicole Walker is trying hard to accept her BFF's new life as the wife of a biker. While she hasn't told anyone about growing up with a father that was a biker who was sent to prison for murder, Nicole doesn't want to end up like her mother did by giving into a biker for even one night.

Tank is the one biker not looking for more than one night. After his tours in the Marines, his own marriage that didn't last, and watching his sister put up with a deadbeat husband, Tank knows that he is not relationship material.

So Tank and Nicole give in to one night because the chemistry between them is just too strong to ignore. And since Tank is easy on the eyes, one night turns into two and they can't seem to stay away from each other.

What happens when the club has trouble and they think it might be a rival club or mafia? Will Tank and Nicole keep things going and make a relationship work? What happens when Nicole's father shows back up?

I love this series and I hope there will be more. It is filled with love, laughter, heartache, heartbreak, and suspense. If you are looking for a great MC series that will have you wanting more, then give this one a read, you will love it too.


Lee’Anne – ☆☆☆☆
I really enjoyed this MC romance – I'd definitely consider it in the more "tame" side as far as MC books go, so if you're looking for a lighter motorcycle read, this one is for you!

Nicole comes from a past that she's tried to keep hidden from everyone. She's very judgmental when it comes to her friends’ relationships with their "MC men" as she absolutely hates motorcycle clubs and wants nothing to do with them. One of her friends is marrying a biker though and Nicole is having trouble sticking to her disdain when the gorgeous Tank is assigned to be the girls’ "detail." Neither Tank nor Nicole is interested in anything long term and decide a one-night stand would be perfect... except it's not enough.

My absolute least favorite part of this book was Nicole's "friends." They were absolute A-holes and I am still upset with how mean/nasty they are to Nicole throughout this book, like I really was waiting for Nicole to fire back and kick them to the curb, but it doesn't happen. It's the sole reason I'm giving a 4 instead of 5-star rating.

Emily Clark comes home one night and once again, little Tucker is locked outside his door. He is too young to be on his own. When she finds out the neighbors he usually spends time with is gone on vacation, she is determined to give his Dad a piece of her mind for how Tucker is being treated. When Tucker directs her to the MC clubhouse, she begins to second guess her decision. But Tucker needs her to stand up for him, so she will stand up to his father and get her point across. When the man walks towards the gate, Emily loses all train of thought, the man walking towards them is tall, good looking, and his bad boy alpha male attitude.

Reb or Rebel, president of the True Brothers MC, can't figure this innocent woman out standing in front of him. She has brought his son to the clubhouse and at night, which is very dangerous. But what he really wants is to pursue his feelings, or maybe it's just a hard-on, for "Sunshine" and see if she blossoms under him. She seems to push him when he wants to protect her, thinking he is trying to control her, while she fights for her independence. With the past she has told him about with her ex-boyfriend, he understands why she is scared, but he would never hurt her.

When things begin to happen to Emily, can Reb get her ex to stop, or is there someone else after her? Will she let Reb and the club protect and keep her safe? Is she willing to give up some of her independence to be with Reb?

I really enjoyed this story and I hope there will be more, the ending was perfect but there has to be more. Maybe in the next story of another MC brother. Another great one Ms. Archer, can't wait for more.

I’m a huge MC romance fan and this was probably one of the best I’ve read in a long while! I couldn’t put it down!

Emily Clark is a librarian who is living a life of poverty to pay off her student loans, this is what has her living in an apartment complex that isn’t exactly the best. Her 8-year-old neighbor, Tucker, is always hanging out at her place because his mom leaves frequently, and when Emily comes home to find him alone for an entire weekend, she decides to intervene. She takes Tucker to find his father, wanting answers as to why he’s allowing his son to live like he does. This lands her at the doors of the True Brothers MC. Reb can’t believe his ex is leaving his son alone all the time, but being in the middle of a divorce and a custody battle, there isn’t much he can do. The minute he lays eyes on Emily, he’s claimed her and he’s not letting her go. Though Emily is from a totally different world and struggles to accept the biker ways, she can’t help her attraction to Reb, will it be enough?

I love when an author can take an MC read with a badass biker and make it a sweet romance. I especially like how tough Emily is, though she’s scared out of her mind to step up to the MC clubhouse she does it for Tucker and then she stands up to the big bad Reb! Definitely an entertaining read and I can’t wait for the next installment from Gillian Archer!

Jessica Miller is looking at yet another of the men her mother has set her up with. He is handsome and looks like things might go somewhere with this guy. But when she sits down and he starts talking and it's all about him, she knows things can't end quick enough. When the meal was coming to an end, she was prepared to pay for half until douche-bag date says he can't find his wallet. She knows she needs to get away from him and quickly, but she lets him walk her to his car. When he becomes all handsy and won't take no for an answer, Jessica doesn't know what to do, he is too big for her to push away. So she screams and suddenly douche-bag is gone from her. She is relieved and when she sees her white knight, she can't believe her eyes. Turns out her white knight isn't a knight at all. He is a sexy bad boy biker and Jessica wants to buy him a beer and try to calm down after that ordeal.

Zag is part of the True Brothers MC, he knows he shouldn't be going anywhere with this lady that is out of his league. But he is drawn to her, so maybe one drink won't hurt. There is something between Jess and Zag almost from the moment they meet. Instant lust or attraction, but it seems to work for them. Until Jess witnesses one of Zag's brothers dealing drugs at her work. She calls out for Zag, but he isn't one of the guys. Now she has a pissed off biker after her because of what she saw. And she automatically thinks Zag is selling drugs too. So she tries to ends things with him, but he will not let her until he finds out what is going on and what has to be done.

Can Zag keep Jess safe from the drug dealing biker who wants her gone so he can stay out of prison? Will Jess be able to stay with Zag if he doesn't share his feelings or can she leave before she loses her heart? This is a first for me from Gillian Archer and I really enjoyed this story. It was funny, heartfelt, painful and Zag's past will break your heart, but it will show you why he is the way he is. Parts of the story seemed a little rushed to me and I would have liked more between the last chapter and the epilogue. Other than that, it is a really good story and I hope you enjoy it too.

I do so love MC reads and this was a great start to what I can only guess is going to be an incredible series!

Jessica Miller works the front desk at a local hotel and lives a relatively quiet life. Her mother is always pushing her on blind dates, wanting her to settle down with a nice man. On her most recent blind date, the man becomes extremely handsy in the parking lot afterwards and sexy biker, Zag, steps in to save her. Zag doesn’t have time to get involved with a crazy woman, but Jessica isn’t taking no for an answer and insists on buying him a drink to thank him. One thing leads to another and the two wind up spending the night together. Jessica heads back to reality the next morning thinking that it was just a quick one night stand, but once Zag’s had her, he’s decided he’s never letting her go. Especially when an ex-brother makes it his mission to bring harm to Jessica.

I love that this book maintained that rough alpha-male aspect that you expect with an MC romance while also being super sweet. I really enjoyed the dual points of view, getting a look into both minds always adds such a great twist to reading. The True Brothers MC series is going to be great and I can’t wait for book two!


Kris – ☆☆☆☆
Zag is the SAA of the True Brothers MC. He’s just heading to the local MC hangout when he hears someone screaming. Pulling the would be rapist off of Jessica was just the start to his interest in this woman who is probably too good for him. Jessica finds herself very intrigued by Zag...she loves the bad boys, but always from afar. Deciding that the "nice guys" aren't nice at all, she decides to invite her savior for a thank you drink and see where this might go. The story moves along well and we end up with a decently interesting, although somewhat formulaic MC story. Zag's character was written well, with his messed up past and a low self-esteem, he's a great tortured bad boy and he definitely holds up his end of the story. There is definitely some chemistry between Jessica and him, and several very steamy scenes between the two liven up the story well. I enjoyed the story.
