Bound by Aleatha Romig Release Blitz

From New York Times bestselling author Aleatha Romig comes a brand-new dark romance trilogy bringing us back to the same dangerous underworld as Web of Sin. You do not need to read the Web of Sin trilogy to get caught in this new and intriguing saga, Tangled Web.

With danger lurking around every corner and my life turned upside down, I struggle with who to believe and who to trust.

Can my heart convince my mind that what was bound long ago is where I’ll find love, safety, and security?

Or are the memories simply an illusion?

Bound is book three, the final book of the Tangled Web trilogy that began with Twisted and Obsessed.

Whew! This is the third book in the series, and you must read them in order. Run out and buy them right now!

Mason and Kader are trying to figure out where to go from here. Someone is out to try and stop Laurel's research and they have to figure out who they can trust. Laurel loves both Mason and Kader. She really doesn't care what he calls himself, only that he comes home to her every night.

Laurel is less prominent in this story, but when she is in the story, it's important. It felt much more like the resolution for Mason. Laurel simply wants to be able to live her life, see her family, and love Mason.

Mason has to find a way to co-exist with his found memories and his past. When the danger gets too close, he reaches out the Sparrows, (this ties back in to a previous series by Romig, which I also highly recommend) and hopes that they will forgive him and help save Laurel.

Intrigue and mystery wrap this story in a blanket and keep all of the characters meshed together. It was a fabulous ending to the series and I cannot wait for the next series!

I could not wait for this book and when it hit my Kindle it was hard to read it because I didn't want it to end.

This series has been one of the best so far this year and maybe that I have read. There is so much going on that you have to try and keep up.

Who is after Laurel? Or are they after Kader/Mason? Will Sparrow accept that Kader is the real Mason?

Can Lorna accept that her brother is still alive? Will they find out who is really after the compound?

Will Laurel and Mason have a life together?

I do not want to spoil this book for anyone, you will want to learn it for yourself. I have learned after years of reading books by Aleatha Romig, never try to guess what is going to happen next. You will be wrong but you will be very happy and in awe of the way the story goes.

So get comfortable, with something to drink and enjoy the ride that is the ending of Tangled Web.

If you haven't read anything from this author yet, you should. It doesn't matter where you start, it will be worth the read.

FINALLY!
I've been patiently waiting to see who Kader really is.
I've been patiently waiting for Laurel to stand up for herself.
I've been not-so-patiently waiting for this story to gain some real steam and barrel toward the ending, providing all the answers we've NEEDED since book one.

I finally feel like I've read a true Aleatha Romig book.

Bound is the conclusion to Tangled Web series, which is appropriately named. There are just so many different angles presented throughout the series, it's been difficult to really figure out what's going on. Each strand of the web, though, ties to the next until you reach the center. I loved how this story came together and ties into the Web of Sin series. I can honestly say that even though the first two books weren't five-star reads for me, book three absolutely redeemed the entire series.

Obsessed by Aleatha Romig Release Blitz

Everything changed the night our eyes met across the room. His green gaze upon me prickled my skin with uncustomary warmth while my peek beneath his cuff—of a riot of color on his wrist—sparked my insatiable curiosity. Tall and mysterious, Kader was a man whose secrets I longed to know.

Little did I realize that the night we met was only the beginning—the beginning to the end of the existence I knew.

What will happen as his assignment becomes our obsession?

This is book two in the Tangled Web series and it picked up where book one ended and doesn't slow down at all.

Kader takes Laurel to his ranch to keep her safe, but you have to wonder with the way book one ended, if that is his motive or not. He is so closed off and the different sides he shows will make your head spin at times. As the days at the ranch go by, will Laurel learn more about who is after the research?

Laurel is worried about what her family is going through thinking she has disappeared. She wants to trust what Kader says but his different ways are leaving her feeling raw. Although their chemistry is off-the-charts hot, she has a feeling that she can break through his walls if he would just talk to her.

Can Laurel survive all of Kader's mood swings? Will they find out who is after the research? What happens when Laurel finds out who Kader really is?

I knew going into this series that I would be left wanting more. If you have read anything from Aleatha Romig before, then you know she loves to leave her readers wanting more in the best way. This book is filled with suspense, intrigue, twists, heartbreak, and maybe a second chance at love. I cannot wait for Bound to see how this series ends and what happens with Kader/Mason and Laurel.

If you haven't read anything from this author yet, you should. It doesn't matter where you start, it will be worth the read.

Whew! This book starts where the first one ends... thank goodness! In this part, you get to see more about how Laurel might actually reach the unreachable heart of Kader. I still think he's a butthead sometimes, but you do catch glimpses of the person he could be.

Laurel is more worried about her family in this book. You are able to see the stress in her life regarding what her family and friends think of her disappearance. She doesn't want people to believe that she just up and left, but at the same time, she doesn't want to put her family at risk by having them look for her.

Reading through this, we're still left wondering who is after the research and which of Laurel's co-workers can really be trusted. More questions pop up and few are answered. I'm hoping for one big whopping ending of a book.

The relationship between Laurel and Kader is quite complicated. They know each other, but with Kader's past, his job, and being alone for so long, you receive whiplash from his mood swings. Laurel has to decide whether or not she's talking with the Kader who is cold and dangerous, or the other person that lives within him.

I can't wait for the third installment!

I am surely amongst the minority here for my rating.

I love the world Althea has created in the Web series, both the Tangled Web and Web of Sin. These stories are centered in a gritty, dangerous, exciting world. The suspense is deep and far-reaching, even the most unbelievable situations are written in a way that I am completely sucked in. Then there're the characters...

Obsessed is not my favorite book in this series. I was excited to see what happens next for Kader and Laurel, as Twisted ended on a cliffhanger! Thankfully this book continues from the drop off, and I needed a ton of answers. Unfortunately, this book doesn't provide many of them. I felt like this was just filler. The story didn't seem to really progress, we just read more about Kader's split personality and Laurel's naïveté. There are a few things that came together, but as a whole I was left wanting.

I will say that the little bits and pieces we were given were HUGE! Of course, I need to know what is really going on. Who is behind this plot, and more importantly, why?!?

While I didn't enjoy the majority of the book, the ending totally rocked my world.

Twisted by Aleatha Romig Release Blitz

The underworld of Chicago is far from forgiving. It’s a world where knowledge means power, power money, and money everything.
While I paid the ultimate price to have it all, it wasn’t my decision to give my life…
That doesn’t mean I ceased to exist, only to live.
Going where the job takes me and living in the shadows, with deadly accuracy I utilize the skills inherent to me, not knowing from where they came, not recalling what I’d lost.

And then I saw her.
Laurel Carlson.

I shouldn’t want her, desire her, or need her, yet with each sighting I know she is exactly what I have to have. Laurel has the ability to do what I thought was impossible. She sees what others don’t.
My gut tells me that it’s a deadly mistake to change my plans and open my world to her. My mind says she’ll be repulsed by my twisted existence.
None of that matters, because my body won’t take no for an answer.

I’ve made dangerous mistakes before.
This time, will the price be too high?

From New York Times bestselling author Aleatha Romig comes a brand-new dark romance bringing us back to the same dangerous underworld as Secrets. You do not need to read the Web of Sin trilogy to get caught in this new and intriguing saga, Tangled Web.

Laurel is brilliant. She is also somewhat shy. When she is approached during a less than exiting fundraiser, despite the warning bells that this person is probably dangerous, Laurel's reaction is more carnal.

Kader is used to taking jobs and going on to the next one. However, this one... this one is different. He can't seem to figure out why it's different, but with a past that he can't quite remember, something in this job is nagging him.

It's fast paced and you're constantly left wondering where it's going. You want Kader to be good, but know that deep down, he's a trained killer. You also want Laurel to be more than just a naïve, brilliant nerd.

Without giving too much away, this is a great start to the new series. I am so excited to see where Romig will take us. The journey has started with a bang and I hope that it pulls us along, answering and creating questions in future books.

Mary☆☆☆☆☆
I knew when I first read the snippets of this story that I wanted to read it, no, I needed to read it. What I didn't know was that the story is more twisted than the title.

Kader is a man with no past, but he lives in the shadows. Does the job he is paid to do. But the job he is sent to do has him wondering what it is about her that has him second-guessing his assignment.

Laurel Carlson, along with another professor, is on the edge of a breakthrough that will change history. But things change quickly, and she doesn't know who she can trust but somehow, she feels she can trust Kader.

The chemistry between them simmers through each meeting they have. Will they burn in the end? Will she learn who he is and why he is there helping her? Can he accept that she sees him? Will he be able to complete his assignment?

If you are looking for a suspenseful story with a little romance, then you need to read this one. If you are a Romig fan, then you are going to love this one. If not, then you need to read this one and become a fan. She has a way of drawing you into a story and keeping you there until the rollercoaster ride is over or until the first book is over, leaving you wanting more and ready for book two, Obsessed, I need it now, please. *Have you been Aleatha’d yet?

Twisted is the first book in Aleatha Romig's new series, Tangled Web. This series is set in the same world as the Web of Sin books. This book felt so different than any of Romig's works and I can't say exactly why. Something was just different, maybe it was the characters?

Laurel is a genius. I'd say she's an awfully naïve genius who is devising a revolutionary medication. Unfortunately, she is also the target of some not-so-good people that want her formulation. The problem is, in the tangled web, how is she to know who is good and who is evil? I want to like Laurel, but she is just so optimistic and trusting. I feel like she's one dimensional and she fell flat for me.

Now Kader is the total opposite from Laurel. He's experienced in the worst of people. He trusts no one and shares nothing. I know there's more to him, and I'm assuming his story will all come out eventually, but as of now, he's just another flat character.

While I can't say I love these characters, I can say I loved the premise of the story. The suspense is what drew me in, I want to know who the bad guy is. I need to know that there is more to both Laurel and Kader than we've been shown. I know Romig can, and probably will, blow my mind and for that reason, I will definitely trust in her to deliver some amazingness in the next installment.
