Noah is crushed, as well as all the other firemen at the house, when Danny died. His widow had a hard time seeing his cherished Camaro in the garage every day. From sitting for so long the grinding noise doesn't surprise Noah but he knows he has to get it looked at.

Noah doesn't know if he's gay, or curious, or bi he just knows that seeing some of the things going on between men at the BDSM club are intriguing. When he meets Hoyt, the mechanic at the garage, he's drawn to him. Hoyt's partner died a year ago and he hasn't been with anyone since. Can the sexy firefighter be what's missing in his life?

I am really digging the boys of Firehouse 69. My only complaint is they end so quickly but it does keep me wanting more. Can't wait to see if there is more coming from this series.


Ruthie – ☆☆☆☆
The second in a series of novellas, this runs on from the previous book – but could be read as a standalone and enjoyed.

It is inevitable in such a short story that the connection has to be instant – but there is development of the relationship to the point that it is definitely believable. And the heat – well, good thing there is a firefighter in the mix! I enjoy stories where it is the immense attraction that is the reason behind the relationship, rather than the gender – and this certainly achieves that deliciously.

Thank you Ms. Devlin for another scorchingly hot read! (And a wonderfully cheeky title!)

This was my first read from this author. I believe this to be a spin-off from another of the author's series, but I had no issues reading as a standalone. I really enjoyed this one. Burnin' Up Memphis is a quick read novella with very hot sexy scenes. It made me realize I don't read nearly enough about firefighters.

John Cooper (Coop) lost his best friend in a fire they were fighting together. He's taking the loss hard. The guilt he feels has caused him to shut down, he's just going through the motions not really living, until he walks into a BDSM club and meets Moira.

Moira helps train the newer members and likes what she sees in Coop. He has the potential to be everything she needs. Can she help him realize it? Or will he be scared away after his first night in the club?

The chemistry is super-hot between Moira and Coop. My only complaint was that it wasn't longer. I was just getting into the relationship and it's over.

I would really love reading more about Anton, he was super sexy and mysterious. Can't wait for the next one.

Ms. Devlin can be relied upon to deliver hot, sexy and tantalising reads – and this certainly does that! I loved the concept from the beginning and enjoyed the story even more. It was short, fun and fiery. Lots of people who can have their stories told in future novellas and the hope of catching up with newly made friends too. Perfect escapism, thank you!
