Feisty Princess is the second installment to A Sexy Manhattan Fairytale Series. I loved Naughty King and I had a hard time figuring out how Ms. Valentine was going to follow that one up, but just like all of her others she did it and did it well.

Alexander and Margo seemed to get themselves into a pickle while in Vegas. They learn pretty quick not everything that happens in Vegas stays in Vegas. After a drunken weekend Alexander and Margo end up married. What's worse than marrying your enemy? Marrying someone you find incredibly attractive that makes your body hum.

Alexander is still that cocky bastard but he's met his match with Margo. He needs her on his side but his need to be snarky can't always be stopped. I love the connection between Alexander and Margo. The sex scenes are hot and steamy while they may be falling for each other the dislike isn't far from the surface. I can't wait to see how the new development effects Margo and Alexander.


Ruthie – ☆☆☆
The second in a trilogy, this contains a temporary fix of the cliffhanger in book 1 – resolution must come in the third, surely ... and sets up the story very nicely. I would recommend that unless you have read Naughty King very recently, you read that again first, as the story does pick up the very next morning, so it is necessary to have your characters and plot clear going in. Then it is fun, feisty and flirtatious. The story is told from both points of view which is entertaining and fills in gaps for the reader, sometimes not from the character that one might expect. These two leads really, really do want to stay away from each other, but both circumstance and hot, hot magnetic chemistry keep drawing them back together.

Hopefully we will get the conclusion that we desire ... in book 3 – Ms. Valentine better be busy crafting it, ready for our enjoyment!


Johanna – ☆☆☆☆
Alexander and Margo are still dancing around each other in this next installment. The notoriously Naughty King can't believe his Vegas weekend has ended up with a twist and as usual Margo's panties are in a twist too. This was one of those reads where the banter held me captivated and the erotic encounters kept me glued to the pages. Can't wait for the next installment. Four stars for entertainment!

Alexander King thinks highly of himself. He is the best, the most attractive. He is gorgeous and built like a god. He's cocky and egotistical. He always gets what he wants.

No one stands up to him, until he is forced to hire Margo as part of the deal with her father to bail his company out. Margo stands her ground with Alexander. She doesn't fail to notice how sexy he really is, she can't fall for him. He's the enemy. There is a sexual tension that radiates between the two.

When they are forced to share a suite in Vegas, things can't possibly get more complicated, can they?

This is so unlike the other books Ms. Valentine writes and I love it. I love the dirty sexy side. Can't wait to see where this goes!

Margo Buchanan wants to save her father’s company so she takes a job as the assistant to the man who threatens to take the company over. Hostile is a word to describe Alexander King. From the opening scene where he forces Margo to watch him use an escort to the end scene......Alexander King is a force to be reckoned with. Would I read on? Yes. The cliffhanger ending did pique my curiosity. The only thing I didn't like was Alexander blowing hot then cold. Overall entertainment was three and a half stars.

I hadn't realised that this was the first in a series, so the cliffhanger ending was a bit of a surprise, but in a good way! I sincerely hope that the next book is nearly ready for release, as I need to know where it goes from here.

The usual premise of CEO and assistant is twisted in this tale, as she is openly engaged in corporate espionage (is that an oxymoron?). Using the adage of keep your enemies closer, and using his immense charm, King is planning on having some fun ... That cliffhanger though made it seem something more serious awaits!
