Ruthie – ☆☆☆☆
Do read this as the finale of the trilogy – it will be a much richer experience. I was uncertain about some of book one, but loved book two, and this rounds off the whole plot perfectly. Each book is about a different couple, and a different vision of D/s, but they all tie together. I am so glad that I kept going with book one through some uncomfortable moments, because as a whole the trilogy is very clever and very enjoyable.

Here we have the gorgeous Nathan, whose best friend, Vincent, was the lead in book two. He is also a dominant, and has a lovely sub called Rosie. As they play together, they realise that it is more than just play, and choose to become more closely tied. Their relationship is hot, and delicious to observe, and as they move forward together, becomes something very special. Rosie has had a tough childhood and bears some resentment to her absent father. However, by relying on Nathan's support, a whole new family emerge for her. We get to see all three couples together and watching the different dynamics between each of the couples is both very sexy, but also very illuminating.

A really good trilogy that I would recommend to anyone who enjoys reading D/s in all its forms.

I really enjoyed the last installment of Anarie Brady's Pleasure series. I really liked how it can read as a standalone, but all the main characters of the first two make an appearance. It's descriptive and written well. You're given just enough details to make the story short and you don't have to make any guesses. It is definitely my favorite of the three.

Having been a little concerned about book one, I was intrigued to see how book two would unfold – well, I really enjoyed it. And I might add, I have also read the final in the trilogy and as a whole they work brilliantly – but more about that in the final book's review! You could definitely read this as a standalone, but in the context of book one it is even more interesting.

This time around we are on US soil and meet Alicia's cousin Joe. She is an independent woman who has decided to move away from home and strike out on her own. She manages to get a job and place to live within hours of arriving – and we watch as she and Vincent (her boss) play a game as old as time, as they negotiate their feelings and the chemistry that swirls between them. It is fun, light, entertaining, and most definitely deliciously hot and naughty. It stands in such contrast to Alicia's type of submission, that it is easier to read, but also recognises the variety and individuality of everyone's behaviour. Oh, and Nathan ... well he is one hot male too.

Thank you Ms. Brady for writing a really good sequel to Tasting Pleasure.

I was intrigued on how the rest of the series was going to play out after reading Tasting Pleasure. I was pleasantly surprised. I really enjoy how the two stories are slightly tied, but can be read as a stand-alone. The banter and chemistry of the characters make the story as entertaining as it is sexy...and it's pretty damn sexy. I really like this read and I can't wait to read the final story in the Pleasure Series.

This is a book which will appeal to a very particular reader. It is well written, and has some hot scenes, and an interesting take on the D/s dynamic. However, there is quite a lot to make you uncomfortable about her choices and how she is treated, even if consensually. Nothing physically dangerous, but certainly mind games. It may be that I would understand her better with more background, or introspection – or maybe she is not a very deep thinker and goes with the flow – but some of what she was expected to accept made me surprised to say the least. It has a proper ending, so even though the first of series, you can read it without fear of a cliffhanger.

I am looking forward to there being more reviews for me to get a measure of how other readers reacted to the story. I shall continue to read the series, in an attempt to understand better.

Tasting Pleasure is a good start to the series. The story is well written and the characters are well developed. I found it a little refreshing that it didn’t end in a cliff hanger. I enjoyed the read, but it started a little on the slow side for me. It brought some heat, but I was left a little wanting at times. I look forward to reading the next installments to see how the story continues. I do have to say I think I’ve expanded my cook book. Some the recipes definitely sound like a “Tasting Pleasure.”
