I have mixed feelings about Finding Rhiannon (Lilith's Army MC- #2), I loved Taking Avery (book one in the series) but I think I just had very high expectations. These books need to be read in order as Finding Rhiannon picks up where Taking Avery left off.

I was expecting a story solely about Rhiannon. She's the Lilith's Army princess and has been treated as such her whole life. Having two overprotective brothers – Slade/Frost (oldest) and her twin, Brennan – has made leading a normal, teenage life very difficult. She has no female role-model in her life and has relied on men to teach her life lessons. One man in particular has had the most impact on Rhi; unfortunately, that man, Scorch, is best buds with her brother, Slade, and therefore taboo!

As I said previously, I thought this book would be Rhi's story. She is a main character, but not THE main character. This book is mainly a continuation of Slade's story (book one).

The issues plaguing Lilith's Army just never stop, a big factor is Brennan. I can't stress enough how much I despise him. He's just evil, the likes I've never really encountered in any other story. His depravity has no limits.

There are multiple points of view, each bringing a different element to the story. Flashbacks tell much of the story, especially the Rhiannon and Scorch angle.

I have mixed feelings about this book and can't explicitly tell you why without giving away much of the story. I wanted closure to the issues brought up in book one, and I got that, but I felt like a lot of it was rushed. There were action-packed moments, and then there were lulls. There were characters mentioned and important to the story, but then they just disappeared.

I'm not sure I like the Lilith's Army Motorcycle Club, but I need to know what happens next!

I have always had a passion for storytelling, whether it be through lyrics or bedtime stories with my sisters. I wanted to be an actress growing up so I could live many roles but I learned early on that my mind was too active… I would want to change the script. I would watch films and think of ways they could have improved the story if they took another direction so I thought it best that I tell my own.

My mum would always have a book in her hand when I was young and passed on her love for reading, inspiring me to venture into writing my own. I tend to have a darker edge to my writing. Not all love stories are made of light, some are created in darkness but are just as powerful and worth telling.

When I’m not lost in the world of characters I love spending time with my family. I’m a mum and that comes first in my life but when I do get down time I love attending music concerts or reading events with my younger sister.

Taking Avery by D.H. Sidebottom & Ker Dukey

When a reckless act upsets the balance between two MC clubs, everyone is fair game in the war that erupts.

Avery belongs to Lilith’s Army now, after being taken against her will, but she isn't just anyone, she's a Cutter's MC Princess, and they don't take kindly to people taking what's theirs.

As Avery’s life starts to spiral out of control, she finds that her only hope of survival is to put her trust in the man she doesn’t trust at all. The only man that can bring destruction to not only both clubs, but also to her heart.

When the fallout reaches beyond just the two clubs, the consequences bring death, devastation, and chaos for everyone.

The dynamics of both clubs change forever in the wake that follows. Fate isn’t done teaching Avery that life isn’t always better with the devil you know, sometimes it’s with the devil you don’t.

Taking Avery was gritty, had dark elements, it was action packed, and had me on the edge of my seat throughout the entire book – it's not at all what I expected!

Avery is the daughter of The Cutter's MC Prez. Never treated as a princess, as many daughters are in MC romance books, she's not spoiled rotten. I LOVE Avery, seriously Love her... I never found her annoying or bratty. She's strong-willed, but has a good head on her shoulders. When faced with dire consequences, she steps up, but also knows her limits. She was such a "real" character, dealing with insane situations and besting them.

Frost (aka Slade) has been dealt a crap hand in his life. Always responsible for his younger brother, Brennan, and cleaning up his messes – until he's facing the ULTIMATE mess. I couldn't help but fall hard for Slade. He's tough and smart, when he needs to be, but he's also "soft" and generous. Gentle but hard.

There is just so much happening in this book. I easily fell into the story right from page one – the main characters grabbed my attention, but beyond that the situations faced were dramatic, the MC dynamic was exciting, and the entire book was intriguing.

The bad guys are seriously EVIL, the good guys are questionable, and all the others are up in the air.

I loved this book – everything about it – and can NOT wait to continue the series (I need to know what comes next for Lilith's Army)!

Lost by Ker Dukey & D.H. Sidebottom is Now Available & Reviewed

We came from nothing and were given a second chance at life, and life was pretty good until it tipped on its axis and my world came tumbling down around me.

My Baby Sister is missing…
Stolen…
Lost…

I’ve never felt this helpless before now, the vacant hole inside me expanding with each passing second of not knowing where she is.
What’s she going through?
Is she hurt?
Suffering?
Alive?

The more I learn of her disappearance the more fear implants itself inside my heart, hardening – darkening.
The world is a depraved place, full of evil lurking behind normality.
Behind smiles.
Behind deception and facades.

She needs me and I will do whatever it takes to find her.
Whatever.
Whatever.

A dark novel, 18+

Lost was another crazy ride from the creative collaboration of Ker Dukey and D.H. Sidebottom. Together, these ladies were able to create a story full of suspense and darkness that ONLY they can create.

Winter and Summer have had a very difficult start to life, born to a drug-addicted mother who turns tricks to afford her habit, they are doomed from the beginning. Winter has always protected her younger sibling, taken the brunt of abuse from johns, and ultimately sold her soul to get them out.
When Summer goes missing, Winter's world is destroyed and our dark, depraved story starts!
Not trusting the police to find Summer, Winter embarks on a journey to save her sister again.
With a serial murderer on the run, Winter will do whatever it takes to find her sister – ANYTHING.
With a little help from super-hot policeman Cole, they take the case...

This was a thrilling story full of suspense, depravity, sexy-dark scenes and secrets. I was guessing at every turn, my attention never waived, and I just couldn't devour this fast enough!!

Shannan – ☆☆☆☆
You can't go wrong with the duo. Dukey and Sidebottom bring it in this one. They give you everything you crave in a dark read.

Being the daughter of a drug addict, Winter has had to sacrifice. She grew up fighting off her mom's "boyfriends" and protecting her sister, Summer. Being saved from that hell, she thought the worst part of her life was over until she finds out Summer is missing and there is a serial killer, The Angel Killer, on the loose.

I'm going to find my sister, and if someone has her, I am going to kill whoever took her.

Winter will do anything to find her sister. She's killed for her before, she wouldn't hesitate to do it again to have Summer safe. Cole was the cop to save Summer and Winter from the tragedy that was their mother. By some coincidence, he's back to help Winter again. The two fight the chemistry between them while trying to track down her sister before it's too late.

Lost is a page turner for sure. The dark that this duo can produce is awe inspiring. I loved seeing the dark, deprived, intense world they can create. They kept me guessing throughout the read.

Crave by D.H. Sidebottom

Willa Eden is used to being different. As an angel she shouldn’t have the dark thoughts she has on a regular basis. She is a soul saver for the Empyrean but since hitting her twenty first birthday, Willa knows she’s much more than that. So much more.

And it isn’t until she meets the arrogant and voracious demon, Rax Torres, that Willa finally finds out just how unique she is.

What should be impossible becomes possible and what her body should never crave becomes too formidable to ignore.

Willa’s unique blood can save the demons that are infected with The Virus and are dropping like flies around her – Rax included. All they have to do is taste a drop. But there’s a catch.

Willa’s blood will also kill anyone who is granted even a single drop.

This book contains explicit sexual scenes and strong language. It is recommended for readers age 18+.

This is the first book in the Tainted Angels series and is a stand-alone novel which can be read by itself.

D.H. Sidebottom writes Paranormal?!?
This genre isn't my normal "cup of tea," more like a palate cleanser (if you will) but – WOW! I was seriously impressed.
The story starts full octane – we're running with Willa who's being chased by the bad guys. Did I mention that Willa is an angel? Not the traditional winged variety (which is described later in the story), but still a soul saver.
Upon being cornered by the dredgen (think vampires), she forms a psychic link to Rax (her arch nemesis).
And the story starts!!
Impossible becomes possible, improbable becomes probable, and mysteries unravel.

I enjoyed the characters, the action, the plot – the everything. I was sucked in immediately and couldn't stop until the entire book was read.
I loved the worlds: Empyrea, Gehenna, and Earth and I believe you will to, if you give it a try!

Mary – ☆☆☆☆☆
Paranormal stories are not my usual go to read but I do love a good Angel/Demon story. When this one came up on the list to read and I am so glad I read it. I loved everything about it. With Willa and Rax being from different realms and fighting each other, I hoped they would work things out to be together and that is what happened. They were drawn to each other and it is a great thing that they were. With Willa learning new things about herself and her future, can she trust Rax to be by her side through it all? Rax and Willa are to be mated and when that happened things will change for them both. Can you trust that D.H. Sidebottom will take you into the other realm as if you were there? YES she can. This is a first for me from D.H., not to say that I don't have other books from her, because I do and I need to read them too. I can't wait to see what she has in store for the rest of this series. So if you love a great paranormal story then you should grab this one and hang on, it is worth the ride into another world.

Ruthie – ☆☆☆☆
The first in a new series (and genre for the author) this book does a great job of telling an excellent story but also building a new paranormal world in readiness for future installments. I am not usually an angels and demons reader, but had faith in the writing of Ms. Sidebottom.

I loved the set up, I found the premise interesting and undoubtedly the lead characters are hot, sexy and highly desirable. I found the plot to be believable and am looking forward to reading more. The story definitely stood on its own, but enticed the reader to want more! If you have a desire to suspend belief a little, and want an exciting and sexy read, then this is for you.

I See You by Ker Dukey & D.H. Sidebottom is Now Available

I watch you, I see you in ways no one else can, and through my lens I create a life of you for someone to dissect. I capture you in your vulnerability; that smile, your laugh, those tears. I document you and sell your secrets.

When I watch you through my lens you’re mine until I pass you to the buyer. I, like most people, have a fetish for pretty things and in my job I get to be around a lot of pretty things. They pay me to watch them and capture them in a frame for many purposes, and sometimes I like my profession a little more than I should.

I took a job to capture her… I wanted to capture and keep her in more than just the image. This time I will take myself away from the lens and become the client because I cannot resist her, she reminds me too much of my first, I need to have her.

Traumatised from a vicious attack, Nina Drake finds herself shut off from the world until her neighbour brings her out of more than just her nightmares. Even after moving and changing her name, she still can’t shake the feeling of being watched. The memories are so close.

And so is the shadow of the creator of them all.

My books all tend to be darker romance, edge of your seat, angst filled reads. My advice to my readers when starting one of my titles...prepare for the unexpected.

I have always had a passion for storytelling, whether it be through lyrics or bed time stories with my sisters growing up. We also used to put on performances by acting out stories. I wanted to become an actress from an early age so I could live out many roles but unfortunately I learned early on that my mind was too active... (I would end up wanting to change the script)

I would watch films or TV shows and think of ways they could have improved the story if they took another direction so I thought it best that I tell my own.
