I created Wicked Reads to share my love of reading. Everyone needs to find that one thing in their life that nourishes their soul. Reading is that for me, it fills me and I make no apologies for it.
Imagination land is a place where you can be anything, see anything, have anything, and go anywhere. When you return from your journey you feel more intelligent and clear headed to face your stresses head on.

I have always been a reader. Summer vacations in my childhood were spent filling up my library card. I started out with V. C. Andrews and Stephen King. While I loved those books they just didn't capture and hold my attention. As I progressed through school I enjoyed the classics that were assigned by my Honor's English classes and tried my hand at creative writing and poetry. As an adult I fell into the Oprah Book Club trap. I will say that I did find many favorites with the help of Oprah. But still it didn't whet my appetite.

I stopped reading as my adult life progressed. I was at a precipice in my life, feeling completely lost. I am ashamed to say that "Twilight" brought my love of reading back. *Gasp* I bought the box set of the Twilight Saga and was completely engrossed. So, Thanks to Stephenie Meyers I began my reading addiction. That series was the perfect introduction into the paranormal/fantasy genres. I am in no way saying that it was the best series ever. It was the stepping stone of my adventure.

Daily I entertain myself with reading, reviewing, blogging, chatting, daydreaming, and writing books. My imagination is my best friend.

I have read over a thousand books in every genre imaginable. I hope you will join me in discussing your favorites with me or perhaps share a review.

You can find me here, on my websiteGoodreads, Facebook, or Twitter.

  1. I stopped by your site but found myself frustrated because I can't read the Blog Archive listings. The electric blue on black isn't a great combination for my old eyes. Is there a way I can change the font or background colors? Thank you!

    1. Unfortunately, Michelle, I don't think you can. I think the most you can do is lower the brightness on the device you're using -- which is something I have to do at times doe to migraines.
