O.M.G. I absolutely cannot get enough of this series, literally one of my favorites ever and I’ve been anxiously awaiting Mason’s story since the moment he was introduced at the beginning of book one. This was one of those books that I couldn’t put down, but at the same time didn’t want to keep reading because I knew the ending would come too soon – loved every single page. Definitely recommend starting from the beginning of the series – you won’t regret it.

From the moment Serenity and Mason see one another they have an incredible connection, but not only do vampires and werewolves never get together, neither of the two believes they deserve happiness. They both struggle with accepting that it’s their destiny to be together and it’s finally time for Mason to take back his rightful place as king of the werewolves. I love that this story takes such a different route then the previous books in the series – it keeps the series fresh and interesting!

My absolute favorite part of this book was finally learning the story of Mason’s past. He’s so tortured and sad in the previous books, and I was excited to get his backstory. He and Serenity were absolutely perfect together, I love both their characters. This is a fast-paced pager turner and once you start you won’t want to stop. I really enjoyed getting to “see” the characters from the previous books as well – the epilogue is incredible, and I think I might die waiting for the next installment!
