This is the third installment in a really good story – which is also part of a fabulous series – and it makes for a really exciting finale to the story. You absolutely need to read the three parts in order.

Chase has had to wake up to himself and accept how much Kia is the centre of his future, just as her life is under threat. Appointing himself her guardian, he knows that he has a lot to do to regain her trust. As the story unfolds, and the truths of just who is after her and why come to light, the drama ratchets up considerably. I really enjoyed the twists and turns in the underlying storylines – both the sexy love story and the dark force seeking revenge.


Mary Jo – ☆☆☆☆
Chase has loved Kia from afar for a long time, convinced he wasn't what she needed. Things are changing though with Kia's life in danger. Chase is unable to pinpoint where the threat is coming from, so he essentially forces Kia to move in with him in order to protect her.

When Kia is discovered missing, Chase realizes he could lose much more than his heart.

Ms. Leigh has once again woven intrigue and lust into an explosive story that leaves the reader breathless and wanting the next story immediately.


Rachael – ☆☆☆☆☆
I have to say that I did love the conclusion of this story even if I wasn't a huge fan of it going along. I think we got the best chunk at the end. I felt more connected to both main characters and so happy we got to see a little sneak peek into Khalid's broken heart. I hope to read his story too because he seems like such a great person.

But back to this story, I really enjoyed getting to see some time spent between Chase and Kia when they weren't in bed. Seeing them show their tender sides and really show their emotions when passion wasn't involved was excellent. I do wish we would've gotten more of this early on. I think we really got to see how they have both grown through the story and how their past relationships have molded who they are and what they are willing and not willing to accept in this new relationship.
