Bored, Stroked, and Blueprinted by KC Kendricks

As a boy, Mick Ambrose fell in love with cars. Now he owns and operates an auto restoration shop specializing in all things American Muscle. When the black 1969 Camaro Z/28 he years ago dubbed Onyx pulls into his garage, Mick forgets his first love in favor of her driver, Logan Gregg. Mick’s interested and cruises Logan at a speed worthy of the car he drives.

Logan Gregg’s plan to avoid entanglements in his life drives away when he stops at American Muscle to ask a few questions about restoring the Z/28 he inherited from his uncle. The owner of the shop is smooth as a well-tuned V-8 engine and twice as hot. Logan is quick to shift gears and take a closer look at Mick Ambrose and the road ahead.

But when Mick wants to get too close, too fast, Logan backs off. His past holds painful memories he can’t escape and the tattoos on his arms aren’t just for decoration. Working on the Z/28 brings the men closer, but Mick makes a mistake when he confesses his knowledge of the past Logan wants to keep buried. Mick knows a man has to settle his past to step into his future, but can he convince Logan?

Ruthie☆☆☆☆
This short novel all happens thanks to Logan wanting to get his Camaro restored, and choosing to go to Mick's garage. It is hot, has an engaging plot, and plenty of hot and sexy scenes. I think that the connection worked, and the unraveling of Logan's past and the fallout was handled really well. The car sections, especially the paint job that should remain perfect, will stick in my mind for a while!

KC Kendricks calls herself an accidental writer. After completing her first novel in 2003, she was urged to submit it to a publisher and everything snowballed from there.

By day KC works for a non-profit organization with a focus on confidential financial assistance to women in crisis. By night, she weaves stories to celebrate life, love and the promise of a hopeful future. KC finds both occupations extremely rewarding.

A native of scenic western Maryland, KC enjoys most activities that don’t include snow. In warm weather KC might be found walking the dog, biking on the C&O Canal towpath, planting delicacies in her garden for the deer to munch on at night, playing in the creek, or lazing on the patio with her Kindle reader or laptop.

KC recently began to research her family history and can’t drive past a cemetery without stopping to search for family sites. Her mission is to photograph old tombstones before the elements erode the stones and the names are lost to time.
