Having read the first book in the series, I was delighted to see there was a sequel out. The first book, Fleur de Nuit, was absolutely brilliant, and introduced a wonderful group of characters as well as having an intriguing plot. This set a very different pace, but was just as enjoyable.

Chance was away with her very unaccepting family when the first book was happening, so her return to the group gives us a perfect opportunity to also hear about how things have moved on since we last read about them all. She is offered a rare treat by Maitre Adrian, a new sub, Landry to train – and everything centres around the two as they learn about each other. Ms. Montmorency does a great job again of giving the reader another viewpoint on D/s and the many faces that it can present. She combines love, lust, and kink in a seductive and tantalising manner, much to our enjoyment.

Lovely story, and plenty more stories to come from this series, I am sure – or in other words, I do hope that you are busy writing Ms. Montmorency!
