I really enjoyed this short story. It had a little violence, a little hotness and a whole lot of interesting plot. I read it in one sitting and couldn't put it down. I had to find out how/if they were going to escape the hell of prison they were in.
Both characters I found were quite developed for this being so short and I like that it is left open for a possible sequel.
There is a few quite violent fights, but they fit with where the characters were being held and I loved reading how they both took care of themselves in such horrific situations.
Alyssa Stevens has been a baker, a banker and a bookkeeper, none of which have anything to do with her degree in psychology. She finally returned to her childhood dreams of horses and writing—she got certified as an equine massage therapist and wrote a paranormal romance.
