I have stopped everything to slope off and read this very addictive story. And as I haven't yet read the first in the series, I know just what I will be doing as soon as I get a chance!
For a whole host of reasons, this book worked for me – and even though I thought that I would get in the pages and slap them both more than a couple of times, I was absolutely hooked. I loved both the lead characters and could understand just where Sonja was in her head, with so many expectations from her upbringing. That she turned so uninhibited was fabulous, and that it scared her, was brilliantly described. James's calmness was amazing – although as one of nine children ... perhaps that is not so unexpected. The storyline works, with threads that run through and tie in well.
I highly recommend this to you – just make sure you stock up and set aside time to indulge!
