Clarity of Lines by N.R. Walker

When some lines blur, others become crystal clear.

Absolutely smitten, Thomas Elkin and Cooper Jones have decided they’re prepared to give a relationship a try.

What they’re not prepared for is the reaction from their families, who try to force them apart.

Both men are about to learn that there are lines that define us. Sometimes the lines blur, sometimes the lines become crystal clear.

Clarity of Lines is book two in the Thomas Elkin Series. I definitely do not think it should be read as a standalone. You need the full impact of Elements of Retrofit, book one, to enjoy Clarity of Lines to its fullest.

Thomas and Cooper are a full-fledged couple, no hiding, no sneaking around. They are together and don't care who knows. Meeting the parents or ex-wife can be scary regardless of the relationship, but when you are dating someone that is half your age family tends to be divided on how to handle it.

“No, it wasn't his age that I was interested in... It was the fact we'd spend hours talking about anything and everything, like I'd met my intellectual match.”

Thomas and Cooper are in love, they've moved past the age issue. Can everyone else in their life?

This series is so worth the read. I love the author's voice. It is very well written. I look forward to more titles from this author.

This book picks up right after the end of the first book. Cooper and Thomas are just awesome, I can’t get enough of this couple. They have such a great relationship and their banter back and forth is just adorable. This book has a little more angst; I mean they are telling each other’s families about each other. That says it all. Everyone wants to be loved and accepted but sometimes you have to realize that it only matters if you, the couple, is happy. Once again another great story and you can’t help but fall more in love with Thomas and Cooper.

Characters: Well written and believable characters
Sex: Yes
Religious: No
Would I recommend to others: Yes
More than one book in the series: Yes
Genre: M/M Romance
Would I read more by this author: Yes

The second in the trilogy, and you do need to read Elements of Retrofit first. Apart from continuity of story-line, it is a delightful book!

I am loving this series, and both Thomas and Cooper. Ms. Walker has given us two intelligent, sexy, charismatic and wonderful men; they both bring such interesting character traits to the story. They are both hot when in public, but utterly delicious when in private. It would be difficult to find a better pairing. They trust each other more than they trust themselves sometimes, which can only endear them to us more! There is a good thread of a story running through the book – and inevitably meeting their families brings forward issues that privacy has allowed them to avoid, but they are strong enough in their relationship to support each other.

It's Friday right now; unless you have something really pressing – I suggest you go and hide somewhere quiet and give yourself a great start to the weekend! You will not regret it! (And when you've finished it, go and get the final book in the series, to make your weekend complete.)

N.R. Walker is an Australian author, who loves her genre of gay romance. She loves writing and spends far too much time doing it, but wouldn't have it any other way.

She is many things; a mother, a wife, a sister, a writer. She has pretty, pretty boys who live in her head, who don't let her sleep at night unless she gives them life with words.

She likes it when they do dirty, dirty things...but likes it even more when they fall in love.

She used to think having people in her head talking to her was weird, until one day she happened across other writers who told her it was normal.

She's been writing ever since...
