Aerial by Aurelia T. Evans

Friends are supposed to stick together, but now they can never let go.

Seth and Lars are drawn into the dark world of Arcanium when Seth makes a throwaway wish in front of the circus fortune teller Bell Madoc, who decides that Arcanium needs a little something extra in the ring. The jinni tears Seth and Lars from their lives of university soccer, on-campus parties and bright futures, cursing them to remain in contact at all times.

Now they perform beautiful aerial acts for the circus, but these two otherwise straight men must also adjust to living their lives always touching, sleeping together in the same small bed and never having any privacy.

The curse also alters the way they express and experience desire for others, like conjoined twins Joanne and Jane.

And, to their horror and confusion, each other.

Reader Advisory: This book contains horror-related action and violence, homophobia, racist language, non-sexual whipping, hot MM sex between straight-identified men, MFMF ménage à quatre and an MFM scene with two female voyeurs. There are also scenes of double penetration and anal sex and some scenes of dubious consent due to magical influence, but all depicted sex scenes in the Arcanium series are ultimately consensual, no matter how dangerous.

Publisher’s Note: This book is part of a series but can be read as a standalone. Events in this book take place three years before those of book one, Fortune.

Shelby☆☆☆☆
The previous books feature a character that's already a part of the Arcanium circus family who comes in contact with a newbie – someone that has recently been "wished" into it. Book 3 in the Arcanium Series is slightly different than the previous books, but it can be read as a stand-alone.

Aerial's main characters, Seth & Lars, have been introduced in the previous books as the Aerial/Trapeze artists. This is their story...and what a story it is!!
Best-friends and jocks, both are visiting the Circus as recommended by a mutual friend of theirs. Upon visiting Oddity Row (and appreciating all it has to offer), Seth and Lars get into a heated argument – one that will drastically change their lives.

The Arcanium is NOT your normal circus – the performers are much more then they seem. Nightmares come to life in this world: demons, magic, jinni, humans all together to learn, live, love, and destroy. Each character has their own past, we see their present, and can only guess at their future.
Seth and Lars have been forced into an unusual situation and I could feel their despair, anxiety, and questions – everything they've known about themselves has been flipped/turned upside down.

I wouldn't classify this as romance, although it does have erotic scenes (and some are scorching!): m/m, m/f/m, and m/f/m/f.
