Acting Out is a quick paced love story. Cree is an actor, Evan is his assistant with an agenda. He's looking for his father that skipped out on his mom when he was a child. He needs to find him to have him served with papers to pay all the back child support owed to his mother. Evan took the job with Cree as means to an end. His unexpected attraction for Cree is a problem. It's something that can't go any further, it has to be a fling. Can Cree deal with that? Can Evan stay true to his word?
There was the insta-love factor but on a short novella it sort of has to be that way. It's a quick read but I was into it. I enjoyed the story, the intimacy between them. I am looking forward to the next book in the series.
