Melting into You by Cassandra Carr Blog Tour

Seth Mason's life as a macaroni and cheese food truck owner in Austin, Texas, is pretty good, except for one thing: he'd like to find a man to share that life with. As part of an organization Seth founded, he donates leftovers to the local homeless shelter, and meets Ben, a new employee. He's a preppy guy, and very much not Seth's usual type, but the attraction is strong and not going away.

Ben's just moved to Austin from Connecticut to take a job as a case manager at the Austin City Mission, the first time he's left home and family. But only a short time after he starts work, he meets a man who, though he looks like an extra in a surfing movie, intrigues him. He's hardly seen what life in Austin has to offer, and yet finds he wants to discover that with Seth's help.

The passion burns hot between them--hotter even than Austin in the dog days of summer, and neither man can deny it. As they grow closer, both must decide if they have the necessary ingredients for lasting love, or if the relationship will go up in smoke.

Angie☆☆☆
This was a short and sweet read. It was about Seth, a mac & cheese food truck owner, and Ben, who works at a shelter. Seth brings leftovers to the shelter every day and meets Ben. There is an instant attraction between the two. They go on several dates, eat lots of food, play with Seth’s dog and kiss. Other than that, nothing much happens. I was hoping things would heat up and the story would get juicier but it didn’t happen. It wasn’t a bad book, just short, sweet and innocent.

Characters: The characters were well written and believable.
Sex: Only oral
Religious: No
Would I recommend to others: Yes
More than one book in the series: Yes
Genre: M/M/Romance
Would I read more by this author: Yes

Melting Into You is a sweet love story between Seth and Ben. It's a quick read about their falling in love. There is an instant attraction between the two. You follow their dating, a few kisses and then there is an abrupt ending. It was an ok read. I was able to read within an hour, it held my attention but didn't stick with me when I was done.

Seth is a chef who owns a food truck. Ben is new to town and has only limited experience when it comes to romance but is instantly attracted to Seth who delivers leftovers to the shelter where Ben works. There is a focus on food in this story, it made me what to eat.

Melting into You is a sweet m/m romance with a nice leisurely pace. I really liked that it is just two guys getting to know each other and coming together. A few steamy scenes but they didn't overwhelm the story and there was no sign of angst. I really enjoyed Melting into You.

This is a cute cheesy title for a fun story about a man who runs a Mac'n'Cheese food truck, and a new guy working at the local homeless shelter, who has attracted his attention. It is a short, sweet read, with a lot of detail on food trucks, and the problems of dating someone who works night shifts! I was sad when I reached the end, as I wanted more – which is usually the sign of a good book in my mind.

She thinks the best part of being a writer is penning stories about love and sex while most others struggle with commutes, micro-managing bosses and cranky co-workers.
