How could one hot hookup change your life so quickly? Porter goes to his sister’s wedding and meets Stiegen. They hook up, one time deal. But why does it feel like more? Porter lives in Boston and runs his own business working with kids. Stiegen is a famous voice over actor who travels around. After the wedding they try to hook up again but it doesn’t work out. Then Porter’s sister’s husband is in a bad accident, her husband is actually Stiegen’s best friend. Porter offers solace to Stiegen and things start to heat up. At times the story bored me but then at times it was really good. The good stuff came in the last part of the book and then BAM it was over. I was hoping for an epilogue or something to give me actual closure, it all ended so abruptly to me.

Characters: The characters were well written and believable.
Sex: Yes
Religious: No
Would I recommend to others: Yes
More than one book in the series: Not sure
Genre: M/M
Would I read more by this author: Yes

Porter and Stiegen's story is a good one. I really liked Porter. He is strong and independent, breaking away from his disapproving family to lead his own life. Stiegen on the other hand, appears to be a good guy but I don't think we got to know him particularly well and I would have liked to have had more of the story from Stiegen's point of view.

The author writes hot steamy scenes but the shift to more serious emotions didn't flow as smoothly. There is a fair bit of conflict between our heroes and the reactions of the characters felt genuine. Overall Boston Boyfriends is an enjoyable read.

This book deals with a myriad of issues faced by both our leads, Porter and Stiegen, both personal and business. Can they navigate around them all and believe that their interest in each other is worth more than a one off encounter at a wedding? After all they certainly had chemistry, but the problem is time. The side issues were significant, although at times I found the timeline confusing. Overall it was a hot read, and I'd love to know what happens next ... which is one of my definitions of a good read!

Marrying those concepts makes her books fascinating.
