Strange Addiction by Sandrine Gasq-Dion Blog Tour

Brock Holloway has it all – money, friends, a bitchin' car and a promising football career. At least, that's what people see. Inside, though, Brock is fighting for something he knows he can never have: Unconditional love. As the child of Aphrodite, he is worshipped, admired, wanted – but never loved.

Zack Duran is a wolverine shifter – and not a nice guy. Zack's shifter side is always in control, often making him heartless and unfeeling. When Zack is assigned to guard Brock Holloway, his tactless wolverine tendencies become even more prevalent and Zack has to fight his shifter personality AND his genuine feelings for the beautiful football player.

A near tragedy shakes him to his core, and Zack can no longer fight the feelings he has for Brock. But giving in to his emotions may come at too high a price. A startling secret charges Brock with the nearly impossible task of taming Zack's beast. Is he up to the challenge? Can Zack give him what he needs? And with danger working overtime, can they finally be together as they were intended?

Ruthie☆☆☆☆
To appreciate this book you need to have read the previous three in the series. To fully appreciate the series, you might benefit from reading the Assassin/Shifter series which introduces many of the characters.

Just as each book advances the main plot, we also get the bonding of another couple. Here, mostly we get back story, rather than a major leap in the removal of the rogue elements, but we certainly get a moving romance. It was clear in book one that Zack and Brock were affected by each other, although not in a good way. But as the story unfolds, it becomes clear what barriers are in place for this pairing. The fact that sex does not equal love or caring, is a fact that Brock, child of Aphrodite, has learned but cannot escape. Zack has been subject to experimentation, and fears his animal has overall control. The set up enables the author to give us another passionate storyline.

Looking forward to whose turn it is next....

Ruthie’s Review☆☆☆☆

It is probably true that to get a full understanding of this new series, it would be wise to have read Ms. Gasq-Dion's Shifter/Assassin series – however enough detail is provided to make the book thoroughly enjoyable as the first of a new series too.

Skylar is acclimatising to his new life, after being rescued from a life on the streets. He looks after his friends, also now rehoused and restarting school, thanks to the generosity of their benefactor, Caden. However he struggles to believe he is worth it, given his past, and most especially worthy of romantic attention. So Justice Salvatore has to work hard to prove it. With an intriguing plot, shifters, children of gods and their nascent superpowers, some off the charts hotness, and a great series is born.

Straight off to read the second in the series....

Ruthie’s Review☆☆☆☆

This is the second in Ms. Gasq-Dion's The Twelve Olympians series. It really needs to be read after the first in the series, and probably even better if following the Shifter/Assassin series as many characters start their story there.

The story picks up where Justice for Skylar ended. This time it is the middle brother, Jaxon and Elijah that take centre stage. It is another lovely tale of protective love, misadventure and reconciliation. Add to that the hotness of all the mated protagonists and the reader gets one heck of a ride. The writing is slick, the plot is sound and the humour sweetens the violence.

I'm off to read book three ...

Ruthie’s Review☆☆☆☆

This is the third in the Olympian series, and needs to be read in order. Even better, read after the whole Shifter/Assassin series too.

I loved this installment, as Killian clearly had a dark past, and deserves a brighter future. And whilst just how dark is revealed, there are also some wonderfully humorous moments. The development of the relationship with Stone, that was foreshadowed in previous books is beautifully and passionately revealed. The underlying plot also continues to unfold, with visits from unexpected parts. All in all another great installment.

Book four awaits...

Best selling author, Sandrine (Sandy) was born in Inglewood, California. Raised by "Old School" French parents, she later moved to Tucson, AZ. It was there that writing became a hobby. Always told she had a great imagination, Sandy wrote short stories for her friends in High School. In college, she took more writing classes while working on her Criminal Justice degree, but it wasn't until a soap opera caught her eye that she got involved in male on male romances. On the advice of a friend, Sandy dipped her toes into the world of M/M Romance. Sandy takes the writing seriously and has had countless conversations with gay men as well as hours of research. She's been involved with the military in one way or another for over twenty years, and has a great deal of respect for our men in uniform. She's traveled the world, but has finally returned to Arizona.

There is now an Assassin/Shifterwebsite!! Many thanks to the talented Jenn Watts for all her hard work!
