The demanding schedule of a world tour, pressure from the record label and a wife who feels neglected, leaves Tommy under a blanket of anxiety. He’s helpless as his perfect life slowly falls to pieces.

When Jessi finally catches up to Tommy and Angel four weeks into their world tour, she begins to feel like an outsider. She’s not about to take a back seat to Angel and she competes for Tommy’s attention. Tired of the rivalry, she begins to wonder if they’d be happier without her.

Angel is trying to hold their relationship together, but Jessi’s animosity and Tommy’s nervous tension, are a heavy load to carry. Before long, it becomes clear that their life, and the band, are doomed unless they work out their differences.

Her mouth widened into a nervous smile. “You’re not hitting me with that thing, Angel.”

“Oh, yes I am.”

Tommy was twisting the ends of the sash around each fist and pulling it tighter.

They slowly walked toward her wearing matching sinister grins.

She took a step back. They couldn’t be serious.

Tommy held up the sash. “It’ll hurt less if you cooperate.”

“Tommy!”

He lassoed her around the neck and pulled her to him. She held her breath, braced one hand against his chest and tugged at the sash.

“Stop fighting and take your clothes off.”

“What?”

“You heard me.”

“Stop stalling,” Angel warned. “It’s better if you listen to him. He’ll be less . . . angry.”

Nervous laughter trickled from her throat at this new game. Tommy was always bossy in the bedroom, but with Angel, not with her.

Ruthie – ☆☆☆☆☆
This is the second in the series, and you really should read book 1 first – partly as it will make more sense of the story, but also because it is an awesome read!

What a fantastic sequel – it starts up just as we left the trio, with them poised to take the world by storm. But things start to go off the rails as Jessi, in an attempt to further her own career too, has to let the guys go away alone. Once again, the author gets us right under the skin of these characters and lets us feel the pain, the insecurities, the pleasure and the passion. It is emotional stuff, and drags one in desperate to know how on earth such a situation can be resolved. It is mesmorising, unputdownable and exhausting – but SO worth it. The mix of little touches and broad brushes make these two books really memorable. I will be thinking them over for a long while to come, and they have been added to my reread pile, near the very top. A present to myself on my next long journey, or quiet weekend. Stunning.

Go, get reading these books – far better use of time than reading my review!

PS – there is promise of a third book; this time concentrating on Damien, another band member, in Spring 2015. Great news!


Johanna – ☆☆☆☆☆
Definitely having some m/m/f fun in this book. I really enjoyed this after starting off with The Prince of Punk Rock book, and this book is not a standalone. The relationship parameters in this book defined the boundaries of the insecurities a ménage might have. I found it to be highly entertaining and loved the erotic scenes it contained. I especially loved Angel in this book and how he closed some of the gaps between himself and Jessi. Tommy seemed to become a little more defiant in this book and not just a middleman.....no pun intended. Crazy writing and reading at its best...I loved it. Five stars.

Between A Rock and A Hard Place is book 2 in the Radical Rock Stars Series. I highly recommend reading The Prince of Punk Rock first, you will enjoy #2 much more.

We pick up right where #1 left you. Immortal Angel has gone platinum which equals a world tour. Tommy Blade, Jessi Blade, and Angel Garcia are in a poly relationship and it works. Jessi decides to follow her dreams and stay behind for school, which means Angel and Tommy will be without her.

There was so much emotion in this one, I was on roller coaster ride throughout the book. I have to say Ms. Galicki changed my opinion of Jessi between these two books. I was truly rooting for her. It was such an enjoyable read. Very hot and sexy! If you haven't started this series yet, you must or you are totally missing out!

Watch as Immortal Angel gets ready to ROCK Europe and Asia!!
Meanwhile Jessi decides to finish her schooling, and start to achieve her dreams (yay, Jessi).
I loved reading about Angel and Tommy, and their developing relationship...unfortunately, I find myself siding with Jessi. I feel slighted for her, I am jealous, and nervous.
I will say, I felt like there was a TON of sex scenes – but the story didn't suffer due to it – it just ignited the passion!
I liked Jessi, Tommy, and Angel in the last book – this book made me fall in love with each of them (for different reasons).
Together, they can achieve anything and will beat all the odds.
I really, REALLY enjoyed this story. I liked reading about the issues they faced as a threesome, and I loved the way they dealt with each and every issue.
The only complaint I have is: I want to hear Immortal Angel's album!

This book had been sitting on my Kindle waiting for a free moment – so when I was offered the chance to review the new book in the series, I finally read it – WHAT A MISTAKE TO WAIT! I absolutely loved this book, and the new one. I was still up at 2am this morning, fighting sleep because I didn't want to stop reading.

This book is so beautifully written, so seamlessly tripping from one of the three leads to another, that I was soon totally enthralled by the events unfolding. I was strongly a Jessi supporter all the way through, and felt that this book delved into a lot of issues that I have considered when reading other such books, but that have not been addressed. The fact that we are dealing with three really sexual, swoon-worthy individuals who are explosive when together, makes for some moments where an ice bath would be the only cure.

One word ... FABULOUS!

When Angel Garcia is in need of a guitarist for his punk band he turns to YouTube to listen to people playing. He prefers to listen more than see them play. When he listens to Tommy Blade’s video he knows what a fantastic guitarist he is, when he sees the video he knows without a doubt he needs him in Immortal Angel.

Tommy Blade is completely in love with his wife Jessi but once a month they share their bed with random men. When Angel Garcia asks him to interview for the lead guitarist spot he is not sure his hard rock background will fit in with the punk music Angel's band plays. Tommy is taken with Angel from the moment he meets him and agrees to play with Immortal Angel. Jessi notices instantly that Tommy is infatuated with Angel. Can their marriage survive the obvious attraction Angel and Tommy share? Can the band survive the sexy chemistry?

The chemistry between Angel and Tommy is hot and heavy. Angel is so patient and loving with Tommy as he comes to terms with the fact that he is bisexual. Jessi has a place within the relationship and with the band. Her character annoyed me at times, the need to have Angel be sexually attracted to her was getting on my nerves. I would find myself skimming at parts involving her whining. Other than that I really did enjoy the story, oh but I would have punched Kendall long before that drama played out!

This book took a while to gain momentum, but once it did – I was fully invested!
Tommy & Jessi Blade are a hard-edge, no-holds-barred, married couple, who are looking to make a name for themselves in the Rock-n-Roll life.
I absolutely LOVE Jessi – she's strong, she's sweet, and she's the manager of indie-guitar god Tommy. While married, their relationship isn't one of "normal" convention. Tommy is bisexual and they indulge his sexuality together. (very sexy)
Immortal Angel is currently in the market for a guitar player, and Angel Garcia has his sights set on Tommy Blade! When Tommy shows up for an "interview/jam session" with the band – neither man is prepared for what they see!
This story took a while to develop, but when it finally came to – what a ride it was!!!
The characters are well developed, they're likeable, and I could empathize with each of them.
The love between Jessi & Tommy just stole my breath – Jessi is just so strong willed, and selfless, and passionate, their love is just refreshing.
I must say that I've never read m/m/f ménage (usually m/f/m), but this story wasn't about sex – it was about selfless love and acceptance.


Johanna – ☆☆☆☆
While I am not a huge fan of m/m romances throw a girl in the mix and I'm game. This trio really made a romance work, and worked at it. I really admire Jessi most of all, having to deal with two men, and a marriage. I really enjoyed the relationship and the scenes once the book really dealt with developing a relationship between Angel and Tommy. The book took some situations of coming out of the closet to family members and really shed some light on maybe how difficult that is. Some of the erotic scenes were very tasteful, and portrayed how a ménage might go. I was just a bit miffed about how Jessi and Angel’s relationship was displayed. But I thoroughly enjoyed reading it, so overall entertainment was four stars.
