This is the second book in the series and you must read the first one to understand this one. The tension between Krissy and DeVon is even hotter and both of them are at their wits end trying to deal with the issue. They both finally decide how to get each other out of their minds, they are just going to “do it” and then they can move on. Oh if it was only that simple!!! What happens right at the end of the book makes you think WTH?? But I can’t wait for the next installment to find out how it all turns out!

It is pretty much essential that you read the first installment before this one, and the experience is further enhanced if you have read the Club Privé series.
This book reminded me of a cat chasing a mouse – except here the mouse sees herself also as a cat. It makes for some wonderful moments of sexual confusion and enlightenment. Cleverly interwoven into the story is some of the reality of the agents' lives in LA, but not a lot – the chase is the key!
Please release the final installment soon; that was a mean place to stop...

Chasing Perfection Vol 2 picks up right at the end of vol 1. This cannot be read as a standalone, you have to read #1 to have the entire story.
Vol 2 gives you more insight to Krissy and DeVon. Their interactions have become a game of who can get the upper hand, who can one up the other. The tension between them is thick and chemistry is ignitable.
I love the banter back and forth between the two, Krissy refuses to back down giving DeVon a run for his money. Some questions from vol 1 are answered and even more are introduced. Can't wait for the next installment.

I really enjoyed Vol.1 of this series, unfortunately for me, Vol. 2 fell short.
I felt the first 40% was VERY slow: we went back & forth between Krissy & DeVon's cravings for one another and not much else.
The 2nd half of the story really picked up, and this was enjoyable. The chemistry between the two is just off the charts HOT, and the erotica was sizzling.
I was just hoping for a bit more "meat" in this installment, and didn't feel like much "story" occurred.
Hopefully the next installment with remedy this, and know that I WILL definitely be reading that!
